I would love it, if in the following chapter, while Sakura is in Sasuke's arms( arm) she thinks of the time she was in Naruto's.

 

Anyway, I hope the new movie features Sakura's seal and have her heavily involved. It would be interesting if the movie was based on T7 vs. Kaguya and she escapes to the moon and T7/Edo kages go to the moon to fight her or something.

As a multishipper this chapter made me slightly happy and hecka disapointed ahhh though I still really want Sasuke to end up alone because he's still trash. It's almost like Kishi's just trying to appease all the shippers at this point and I don't if it's just me but this felt slightly out of character for Sasuke?? Like he had no regard for his teammates' lives before (especially Sakura and Karin) and now he decides to grab Sakura before she drops? Really? I mean I'm all for team 7 being one big happy family but that felt like a quick jump. Maybe I'm out of the loop or something I haven't really been in the fandom or read the series properly for two years or so yeah（ ＴДＴ）. (Also I may have skipped a bit ahead to this chapter because I heard stuff about SasuSaku being canon now and I was super confused.)

Remember when NH was claiming canon in 615? It's basically the same thing now, but with SS, except this isn't even that much of a moment so SS truly is the most delusional of the Big 3.

I know we should wait for the follow-up of the SS moment next chapter like with 615 before making any assumptions. I know technically anything can happening. I'm usually one of those people more open to other possibilities I did that with 615, keeping myself open-minded. And I should do that with SS, but ...

 

Come on people. SasuSaku is not NaruHina. At least NH has had more positive development to make it slightly more believable if anything progressed. With SS, it's just .... no matter how hard I try, it's impossible for me to see Sasuke romantically acknowledging Sakura and being with her under any circumstances. Sasuke never cared about romance or responded to Sakura's advances. Even while steadying Sakura was actually nice of him, the vibe off him was just not romantic. His expression was not loving. It was just acknowledgment.

 

I can't believe the idea of romantic SS follow-up because of Sasuke's very character. Even if you ignore the negativity of SS this whole series, Sasuke is just not the type of person to fall for Sakura. Or even fall for anyone (saying he'll be with Karin is still a stretch since Sasuke still shows no romantic interest). Sasuke's main plot was never romance. It was just friendship and brotherly bonds. The vibe I got off that SS "moment" was just friendship for Team 7, lining correctly with the plot.

 

It is completely impossible for me to see Sasuke falling for Sakura. Every time I see fanart or fanfiction of him doing that, it's so painfully OCC for him I cringe even looking at it. And even if, by some earth-shattering miracle, SasuSaku ends up canon and snaps all NS's development in half, the SS fans still would have half-assed canon because Sasuke would never do it out of love for Sakura. Sasuke is emotionally incapable of that.

 

The only reasons SS would give Sasuke any semblance of in-character behavior even by just a few shreds would be the following:

 

- Sasuke finds Sakura strong and acknowledges her power, thinking she'd be "worthy" on a power level

- Sasuke wants to revive his Clan so sees Sakura's strength suitable enough for it (again, back to power)

-  Sasuke's rivalry with Naruto (now this one's more of a stretch)

- Sakura would be easy to control in a relationship and not cause trouble

- A combination of all four

 

Notice how none of these reasons have to do with romance. It's strictly Sasuke being pragmatic, fueled by pride and acknowledgement of power to boast his own ego, and then a rivalry again fueled by his pride. If they wanted to be more truer to Sasuke's character in a SS relationship, that would be it. And Sakura would be completely miserable in this relationship and feel constantly used and worthless. This is the reality of a SS relationship. Not how SS fans paint Sasuke as someone who loves Sakura deeply while giving her happiness (or will someday).

 

It's just ... ridiculous. Their view of Sakura and Sasuke's characters are so butchered through their OTP fantasies. It absolutely amazes me how any true Sakura or even Sasuke fan ships SasuSaku so intensely. I know it's their own POV, but it's just so wrong for the characters. I love Sakura and I like Sasuke, but that's why I ship NS for Sakura and I ship Sasuke with no one. Just be true to the characters before arguing canon.

 

 SS arguments give me such a headache ... I just don't get it.

I guess maybe people should just give in the thought of well you know, since we don't want to eat our words. It's possible that we will get what they want and such. In short, don't feel confident, regardless if it does seem like the way we presume. I mean I wasn't too confident on 615 but I guess I wasn't ready for it. Then again, none of my prediction indicate that scene nor any NH. So, now, this is literally the first ever SS moment, platonic or not. The point is, what is it Kishi want us to do/feel?

Unfortunately that's the new argument. Because Obito witness MK, NH and now SS; he somehow supports them.
It's an interesting argument, however they failed to noticed that the latest SS moment combined with Obito's "suport" is actually a small NS moment.

It's not interesting, it's irrelevant. Why is it important that Obito witnessed it? It's reading into stuff that isn't there; one of the bigger reasons I soured on the pairings.
