Why doesn't Sakura's child look like her? I mean AT ALL? Even a little tiny bit???

 

I'm already hate the way she's been treated, but it's like in the genes department she's not getting represented at all. No pink hair, no green eyes. 

 

And with the publicity of the movie being so Hinata-crazy, it's almost like they want Sakura to disappear completely.

 

Because if that's really her kid, then in the next series there won't be a pink-haired kid at all. Visually, it will just look like Sakura was erased from the storyline.

WTH, it's a manga about ninjas! Think they could have said something about exercising instead? Mention that she could get back to her old bad-ass ways and lose weight in the process? Nope, count calories instead. Seriously. Agonizing over the numeric value of your food instead of being active and exercising absolutely is a self-esteem killer for girls. And if this is aimed at the young teen market, then they've got even more reason to be aware of what they're putting out there.

 

And this is totally aimed at girls. How many boys are going to think, 'Wow, I don't want to wind up like Anko!' NONE.

It was pretty dumb for sure, seriously. =/ I won't deny it. It'll be OK though. :) And it's understandable about you venting because of how dumb it is. So feel free to let it out. Honestly, it can get to me too since I got some weight issues, but I just let 'em roll off me like water off my back in the shower.
