So I saw a post on my tumblr dash mentioning something about the villain making Hinata lose all memory of Naruto? They're unconfirmed atm but I just felt like sharing.

That doesn't mean she stopped loving him. Just because you aren't looking for a relationship with someone doesn't mean you don't love them. Sakura couldn't see herself with Sasuke at that time because he did so many bad things. She wanted to save him, but that doesn't mean she didn't love him. Her ending up with him when he's good again is proof of that.

As for Naruto I think what Liliac is saying is not that he never loved Sakura.. But that he was able to move on more easily for whatever reason and that reason could be his feelings weren't developed much since the Pein arc. At least not seriously. With Sakura we got her thinking about Sasuke over lover nin and then a second confession. Hinata... Ugh. We don't need to expand on that. But for Naruto we got a girlfriend JOKE and him lightly scolding Sasuke for putting Sakura in a genjutsu. Seriously what's the comparison? :/

Actually I think I'm going to watch it. After some time my NS side settled down and my Naruto fan kicked in, so I'm going to watch it.

Well that's depressing.

How? Sorry but I'm a Naruto fan first.

Because I don't like seeing bad writing rewarded. Their are too many guys and gals who barely scrape by trying to make a living from it, and something as badly constructed as this makes a man millions? Just isn't right in my opinion.

There are minor problems that I don't like about the series but then again a story that went on for 15 years will have problems but, overall I really enjoyed it.

 

I personally think the story has taken a nose dive since the Pain arc, with only glimmers of hope since.

All those memories of Naruto and Sakura walking past while Hinata stares. Isn't there a cover like this somewhere? They're well forgotten.

I personally believe he's a terrible writer when it comes to the romance subplot. The best love story he made was NS and he throw it away. I know some people say he's a bad writer because he trashed some of his characters like Sakura, but Sakura's development is still there for me. She obviously isn't the same weak girl from part 1 and as confirmed by the databook, Naruto now a very important person to her that she loves as a friend. That isn't the same weak Sakura that hated Naruto from part 1. I don't think Sakura still loving Sasuke should completely destroy her development.

It does for me. That sickening seen of her saying things like "Sorry for what?" And "Can I come with you" with that build up is sickening to my western eyes.

 

And Kishimoto's problem as a writer I've gotten into many times, predominantly over at NF. I don't have time to write it all out again right now though.

Love isn't always romantic.. I think she does love him, but not in that way of wanting to make him hers. 

Well she made him hers.  She's living with him (uchiha symbol in her house) and she has a child with him.

I don't understand the debate here about rather Sakura wanted to make Sasuke hers or not.... Yes she just wanted to save him when Kakashi speaked, but it doesn't change the fact that in the end she still loved him romantically and that she indeed made him hers by marry him and have a child with him.

My point wasn't that she didn't really love him. It's about entirely different matters... like having any sort of self respect or not regressing back to her 12 year old self.
