Likewise. Oddly enough, I would actually beg for spoilers, if I didn't have the mind of a pairing guy. It's ironic of me to be honest. While I am neutral when reading the manga, I do feel a bit odd of wondering if there's a pairing moment that would make me throw up. I don't know but I will wait for the right time.

i was actually oblivious to this whole pairing till the whole tenchi bridge incident. That's when i found fanfiction. After reading a couple of fics i started to notice the dynamics between Naruto and Sakura and fell in love with the pairing. But now a days, i can't read the manga. This manga is a shounen manga right? So cant say that there would be an end pairing or not. But the story goes straight towards NS. doesnt it?

Kishi did say that in the end atleast one couple would canon. That's hint enough for me. If he goes for an asspull, he'll lose my respect.

It's most definitely is going that direction.

And he also gave Naruto's futur son's name. And Junko asked if she could do the voice of Naruto's son when he will get animated. So, yeah, that and what you said are enough proves that, Naruto at least, will get paired with someone (Sakura).

Kishi said he wanted to call him Menma first, but since he used that name in the RTN Movie, his choice moved to Shinachiku wich is another name for Menma. 

Oh by the way, Menma (or Shinachiku) is an ingredient for Ramen based on bamboo.

I think trolling was a bit needed. Otherwise NH &SS fans wouldnt have watched the series. Bit in the mean time he pushed nh a bit far so a bit of confussion arised . But after 631it was again NS all over the place

the last thing you do to a toxic section of your fanbase is feed it. honestly I don't think he considered western fans as much when creating each new chapter.  I would bet that all the NH moments were just pro Hinata in his eyes and not pro NaruHina.

I don't understand why everyone keeps on telling Kishimoto is trolling pairings fans. I don't even think he's aware of the War he's creating in the Western country. He's probably just writing while thinking about his story and what he wants to transfer to his Japanese audience. And Japanese fan don't even see an NH possibility. That pairing is just for fun there; there is no Pairing War in Japan. Or at least, NH is a minor couple. 

 

All those troll moments are just misinterpretations from NH/SS fans. For example, chapter 615, even if it was ambiguous for Naruto to take Hinata's hand if you don't look at the circumstances, it had just one purpose: chakra transfer, and even if NS and some neutrals fans were warning them about that purpose, they preferred speculate rather Hinata and Naruto were gonna do a combo attack or if Obito was gonna see Rin in Hinata at that time. That's why next chapter was called a troll; because they had too much hope on what was gonna follow the hand holding. 

 

It's the same thing with Obito/Tobi, too much speculation about complexes theories on who could be Obito, while it was clear as day that it was Obito, except some little details like chronology, but what matter is the plot like when Tobi was hinting he knew Kakashi. 

 

To sum up, I don't considerate Kishimoto as a troll. I just think fans got too much hope on their preferences. 

 

@ Branden: That's exactly what I think, and that's what I'm trying to say through this post.
