@Chapter: Wow. Sabertooth needs to go down. Like, now. I hope Makarov pulls his teams out of the tournament next chapter to declare war on their guild. There's no way FT can just ignore what happened in this portion of the Games. I still wanna see Natsu/Gajeel vs. Sting/Rogue, but I'd be willing to bet that fight will happen anyway, tournament or not. Orga vs. Laxus also seems to be a given. I'm not sure about the other two, but I'd guess Gray vs. Rufus and Erza vs. Minerva. But I suppose Natsu's gonna wanna destroy her too now. Hmm.

Also, I didn't know teams could volunteer the same person for the contest portion for multiple days of the tournament. I guess I understand why FT B would pick Juvia for the "Naval Battle", but I think I would've preferred to see Mira go Satan Soul on Minerva. Or maybe Laxus getting another anti-climactic yet epic victory by electrocuting the entire arena.

...Aquarius manage to make me hate her even more. The way she abandons Lucy is not even funny anymore if its meant to be funny in the first place. This time, her actions nearly caused her master her life. Like harry said, I hope this isn't going to be shrugged off just like that. It must be a huge crime to abandon your master while they are in the middle of a freaking battle.

It really hurt to see Lucy get annihilated like that. I didn't think much of Aquarius leaving Lucy like that at first, since she's done it before, but you're all correct. This time was different from before since Lucy got seriously injured in the process, so I hope we get panel time with Aquarius reflecting on the consequences of leaving her partner like that. If she had stayed she could've at least blocked some of Minerva's attacks.

Sting really pissed me off laughing like that, but he's gonna regret everything in the next couple of chapters. I know Minerva is probably gonna fight Erza (or maybe Mira but most probably Erza), but ever since she appeared for some strange reason I wanted her to fight against Natsu and now after what she did to Lucy I wish for it even more. Since Natsu's rival in the tournament is clearly Sting it will probably never happen. On the other hand, we still don't know what that 5th day will be about, so I can still hope.

I'm pretty sure the 5th day will settle the scores for Grey vs Rufus, Laxus vs Orga, and Erza vs Kagura. Although we still don't know if it will be formal battles or something different. Now that I think about it if Erza already has Kagura to fight they should put another person against Minerva. Maybe when Natsu beats the crap out of Sting in the tag battle Minerva will want revenge against Natsu for soiling Sabertooth's name, so the 5th day could be the perfect chance for it. Or maybe I'm just over-thinking it and she'll just fight Mira.

I just want Natsu to put a stop to Minerva's arrogant attitude, especially now with what she did to Lucy.

Lucy is going to be okay. And she at least did get her 8 points. Now we have 1. Arrogant Sabertooth who have been used to being top of the heap for the last few years and 2. A very, very, very pissed off Fairy Tail.

Guilds in Fiore really do work like linkshells in FFXI (with the exception that you can be in more than one linkshell.) The shells on my server, Bismarck, all compete with each other for the top spot constantly. Then here comes along some no-name group and zips right past everyone to the #1 slot... Everyone below them is super pissed, especially if there's evidence that shell is cheating. (My old HNM shell, Yamato, is currently #5. VersionUpdates, currently #1, is actually made of the broken remains of two or three other shells that reformed, which is why they're so fricking powerful.)

It seems obvious that the tag battle will be Natsu and Gajeel vs Sting and Rouge, but the question remains: If Natsu and Gajeel beat them now who are they going to face in the 5th day? I really want Natsu to face off against Minerva but it seems that Erza will be her rival, but there's also Kagura to deal with.

I'd rather have Natsu deal with Minerva while Erza deals with Kagura in the 5th day.

Well, I was hoping for either the inevitable guild war to start or to see some serious Na/Lu moments, but unfortunately neither happened this chapter. I guess I just need to be patient...*sighs*

That scene at the end was awesome though! I remember all the way back in the Lullaby Arc when Mira was commenting on Natsu, Gray, and Erza being the strongest team in FT. Add the former ace of Phantom Lord (at least I assume he was, him or Aria I guess) and a mage powerful enough to wipe out Raven Tail with only a few paper cuts to show for it, and dang. I smell some FT dominance on the final day.

If I remember right, the battle portion for the fifth day had a question mark over it when they first introduced the rules. I'm thinking Grandine's premoninition is gonna hold true, and the entire teams are gonna have to face off somehow on the fifth day. It seems like Laxus vs. Orga and Gray vs. Rufus both have to happen, on top of Erza vs. Minerva. But I guess it doesn't really make sense to have the Dragon Slayers fight twice, unless Day 5 introduces something new to the battle portion.

I'm guessing Erza vs. Minerva's gonna happen outside of the tournament, though. But we'll see...

That's kind of ironic considering that Mira is one of the actual Fairy Tail S-Class mages. Even if Natsu, Gajeel and Gray got considerably stronger I'm sure that Mira isn't any weaker than them. I guess the poor girl will always just be considered Fairy Tail's pin-up girl.

Although I can't help but wonder how the near S-Class mages (Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, Elfman, Juvia, etc.) would currently fare against the actually S-Class mages, at least Erza and Mira. I think only Dragon Force Natsu would have a chance against Laxus, I don't even think Erza or Mira could win against Laxus.

We already saw that Elfman could withstand the power of someone Erza previously considered an equal, so that already shows the improvement. Still, the only one I can imagine winning against Erza and Mira now is Natsu, but only when he's completely serious. You know how it goes for Natsu with his "flame of emotion" stuff. Although we still haven't seen the results of Gray's and Gajeel's training so they might surprise us with how much stronger they actually got.

Noooooo Bacchus lost.... at least my fic MUI remains canon! Sort of. Quattro Puppy is not doing well this tournament at all.

I guess Lucy is going to be forced to summon the "Dragon King." (Watch him wreak havoc on the 2nd and 2rd gen dragon slayers because they had to kill dragons for their powers...)
