If you didn't see it, Marshawn Lynch's 67 yard TD. Youtube actually has a higher quality version but without commentary. And that commentary was awesome.

Took me a second to get it. Those guys and their wit... tongue.gif Awesome. Wonder if the Seahawks will be the sleeping giant in the playoffs this year. They have the most to prove, because everyone, including myself, counted them out, and that could make them the most hungry to win it.

If the home teams win it wouldn't surprise me, anyone can win these games and Seattle was in the perfect position to seize the opprotunity. Congrats, makes our division less suckish. (I feel better as a Rams fan now. Also Jwolf0, lol at the Onion.)

The Colts and Jets are in a defensive showdown final 17-16 Jets.

I'm considering the Chiefs and the Packers now. Sorry, but it's possible.

Your first 24 draft order:
1. Panthers
2. Broncos
3. Bills
4. Bengals
5. Cardinals
6. Browns
7. 49ers
8. Titans
9. Cowboys
10. Redskins
11. Texans
12. Vikings
13. Lions
14. Rams
15. Dolphins
16. Jaguars
17. Patriots (from Raiders)
18. Chargers
19. Giants
20. Buccaneers
21. Colts
22. Saints
23. Chiefs
24. Eagles

Interesting tidbit that I find funny:

The NFC West is 9-5 in the Postseason since '05. The best record of any division in that time!

QUOTE
In an ironic twist:
According to ESPN, this game in terms of points people projected for the winner over the loser had the Saints over the Seahawks as a double-digit points-over favorite, making them the first team playing on the road in the playoffs ever in the wild-card round to be favored by that high of a margin. The previous #1 traveling favorite was the 2000 St. Louis Rams with 6.5 over their opponent. The opponents won 31 - 28. Who was their opponent? The Saints.

Ew....I remember that. The Saints were actually still in the West back then with Carolina. Still not as bad as the 2001 Super Bowl, but good to see the irony. This was a bigger deal though because the record of the Saints team was the same as the home team then at 10-6.

But 11-5 v 7-9? Who saw that coming? This is the bigger upset by a WIDE margin. Which makes this even better because the team Seattle trounced on the road this year was the Chicago Bears.

(By the way: Next week Seahawks @ Bears. They have a chance to make it to the NFC championship game. huh.gif )

Not only that, if the Packers knock out the Eagles and Falcons and the Seahawks meet the Bears, Seattle could actually host the NFC Championship game.

Jets-Colts... Peyton couldn't do everything himself, and it finally caught up with him. Bad Colts special teams, bad Colts D on that last drive, a "WTF are you thinking?" moment by their coaches to call that timeout with 29 seconds left....

Well I get to update the draft list again. That was a close down to the wire game at the end and then the Packers trolled the Eagles comeback. Like DeSean Jackson's postgame congrats. to Rodgers during an interview.

Seattle played one of the best post season games I've seen. My brother was a very happy/sad Seahawks fan cause they won yet still go down in the draft order.

Sexy Rex finally beat Manning, though he should have beaten him in '06 if it wasn't for the Ravens typical putrid offense. Rematch #3 on the way.

Eagles...missed kicks, can't stop the run, dropped passes, and mistakes by Vick. Not a very good team effort. Fix the OL and defense.

And of course another playoff game up in Pittsburgh. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Well, I was pulling for the Chiefs since a friend of mine is on that team, but they lost. So...as long as the Jets, Steelers, or Bears don't win I'd be fine.

Disappointed, but not as angry as I was last year. A ton of missed opportunity's, Green Bay made more big plays than Philly. Should of won that game. Considering that I was expecting an 8-8 or 7-9 season, I'm cool with how the season went. They overachieved, part of that is because the other teams in the East were straight garbage. Similar offseason needs to last year. O-line, pass rush, and secondary. And It'd be nice if the damn Offensive line could stay healthy. They've had to work with a patchwork line for these last few seasons.

So, it's Ron Rivera. Among the potential choices he's the one I hoped they'd hire. Now, we need a solid offensive coordinator. And then a QB. And then a WR, OL, DL, secondary.....sigh.

Pat Shurmur is the front runner for the job in Cleveland as a member of the Mike Holmgren tree. If he leaves the Rams OC position apparently it'll come down to Brad Childress or Josh McDanniels.

Childress is a friend of Spags so he's more likely, but would that help to get Sydney Rice or hurt?

McDanniels is sought after and he faced off as the offensive coordinator with the coach in 2007 super bowl in New England.

Do we have any other choices? Or are these the best? confused.gif

Yeah that game was something else. Not to mention the mistakes made by both sides that resulted in terrible situations soon after.

(See Roethlisberger fumble and Baltimore self-inflicted snap.)

Though I think (sorry to Ravens fans) the Ravens had a complete meltdown in the second half scoring only 1 field goal and allowing their 21-7 lead turn into a 31-24 loss. Plus their Wideout acquisitions dropped the ball, literally.

Packers though are suddenly dominating at the half. Intercepting Matt Ryan twice and scoring 4 TDs alone in the 2nd quarter. Up 28-14. The second INT resulted in a 70 yrd pick-6 with 10 seconds on the clock. WOW.

First Class butt-kicking by the Packers (42-14 in the 3rd).

Baltimore fans, your offense owes you an apology. In that fourth quarter, your defense failed to make the stop when it really needed to, but that would have been unnecessary if the offense didn't cough up the football three times and if receivers didn't keep dropping the ball on key plays.

It was like watching my Panthers play offense.

48-21 Green Bay over Atlanta
31-24 Steelers over Ravens

They have a running game now, Packers are going to the Super Bowl. Depending on the Bears and the Seahawks hosting they're the team to beat in the NFC and they are Green Hot.

Your first 28 Draft Order
1. Panthers
2. Broncos
3. Bills
4. Bengals
5. Cardinals
6. Browns
7. 49ers
8. Titans
9. Cowboys
10. Redskins
11. Texans
12. Vikings
13. Lions
14. Rams
15. Dolphins
16. Jaguars
17. Patriots (from Raiders)
18. Chargers
19. Giants
20. Buccaneers
21. Colts
22. Saints
23. Chiefs
24. Eagles
25. Ravens
26. Falcons
27. Seahawks
28. Patriots

EDIT:

If anyone has paid attention to the news you would know birds have been falling dead from the sky and now there's a new mass sighted dead, the NFL Playoffs.
All teams with a bird names have been eliminated, but man Hasselbeck went down like the Battleship Yamato at the end.

Bears over Seahawks 38-24

In other news Belichick has BENCHED I repeat BENCHED Wes Welker for his comments it was a pregame decision.

Jets v Patriots is on.

2nd Edit

Looks like Welker's off the bench.

And this is crazy as the last AFC game. Brady first INT since Week 6 results in Slapstick and a Turnover and Brady is back where he left off.

3rd Edit

My god I think the Steelers and Ravens game was switched with this game. That one was a shootout and this one is a defensive struggle. Brady's been sacked 3 times now.
