Gear Second, is based on power and takes advantage of rubbers ability to expand, Gear Third is speed based and takes advantage of contracting to pump blood around the system at dangerous levels. So what properties of rubber will Luffy use for the new gear? Both? Pump up his muscles, and use the elastiicity to pump blood in the system at dagerous levels? Or will it be something new.
