According to japanese ex naruto fan about chie in meganezaru's tumblr post:

 

Chie cried when she was practicing it at home. She cried from being heartbroken. Before she could explain it further, she got cut off.

 

Chie herself said this at the movie premiere and the person who I've asked attended the premiere. So what has meganezaru posted is true.

What does "practicing it at home" mean? God! I hope that alleged rumour about a possible SS sex scene isn't true. Voicing a character of a well-known cartoon series that has generally been marketed towards children and teens to that kind of graphic material would be harrowing. It's like you're stripping their innocence and dignity away. 

I can't possibly....no way. It's not happening. Like you've said, it's still a Shounen Jump, kids series nevertheless. They can't add in something as awful as that.... 

 

But you know what? Chapter 700. D*mn. Maybe they can....

That's also my question. If we have proof that she ships SS, then this shouldn't bother her at all. Also we have to take into account that she was only recording for "The Last" and not anything else (unless it's the anime). So why was she so heartbroken? 

 

Maybe she didn't appreciate how Sakura turned out? But then again she's known to be very critical of Sakura to begin with, so why would this bother her so much? Or maybe it's the fact that Kishimoto stated that he hasn't thought of a way that SS got together in the first place, and that undermines her character and her preferred ship.  

 

There's also the third but completely speculated option: maybe something happened backstage that we just don't know about, and probably never will.

I'm more inclined to believe that if she did indeed cry, her afflictions were centred around the relegation of the character she's been voicing to side-character status, or the lack of appropriate SS development which she's been locking horns with Kishi over.

I agree with you. That's weird and suddenly seems to be unsuitable anymore.

 

"Practicing it at home" is practicing TL movie script at home. So she received the script and practiced it at home.

Sigh, I was going to do something like this but I completely gave up. 

 

When I first announced my comic I had hundreds of followers support me and asked me to continue on Tumblr. I was so excited and I outlined an entire story while I was at work. 

 

But then Kishimoto's big mouth kept talking. And when he finally admitted that everything Narusaku was just meant to troll readers I was left completely heartbroken. I couldn't even continue my story.  I even hired a team.

 

I thought I could come back and complete it by May but now that I've (almost) completely moved on I doubt it. It just sucks cause I feel like I let a lot of people down, including myself, but the Naruto fandom isn't healthy for me. That's why I only come here to express my opinions and talk with people who would agree with me.  

 

Edit: Kudos to people who can still do things like this though. I just don't have the heart anymore. It takes a lot of willpower, especially knowing that more sh*tstorms are coming soon.

It was basically going to be Narusaku's version of  a part 3 starring Shinachiku and his adventures with his family. It was gonna be a comedy series showing the sruggles of raising a powerful kid from birth all the way till adulthood. I made character sheets and everything haha. But the spark is gone now and I moved on. There's so many other stories I want to invest myself in now and that's what makes me happy. :) 

 

Besides, right after I made that I was hired to work for a local company making monthly comic books. I also want to start my own series so I'm more so focusing on that.

 

Nice art. I feel the same just as you do. I'm a NS shipper for life. Kishi has abandon his two most famous principles of the manga and messages to readers is to "never give up" and "there are no shortcuts" (the Hokage statement in chapter 2) for the sake of fan service. I think we should not do the same. it's up to you.

2 possible reasons:

 

1. She's sad bc she knows what has happened to Sakura's character

 

2. She's sad bc she knows Sakura won't be getting a lot of screentime in the future.

 

It's definitely odd behavior for a SS fan.

Okay if that's the case then the true conclusion can be found way easier, right? She probably didn't like how the couples ended, or maybe how everything became Hinata based, or maybe how Sakura treated Naruto in the movie.

Thank you! I just kind of view it like this- Why waste time developing on a world that the creator himself does not care about? If Kishimoto doesn't have love for his own characters, why should I? I feel like by continuing something as strenuous as that, I'm being trolled all over again. I'd rather find another story that has better respect for it's characters, or just create my own. :)
