I love Gundam Seed but the pairings in Destiny for the main guy was just a what?...He ended up with another girl out of nowhere well Gundam 00 was the same with Feldt being in love with Setsuna out of nowhere too

That's some predictions that Soma x Megumi fans came up with bc of the so called secret  that will be revealed next chapter and bc the author via twitter said that she'll reveal the  history of Soma's mother and why he decided to become a cook . Either way its things taken out of context and twisting of massive proportions  *sigh* .

The author said she died and is the reasom he became a chef but not history....though the history will most likely be important...weird how SouMegu is an odd pairing to me

I assumed you haven't watch the series. Ok, here's my pov story.

 

As you know, Sunrise spoiled the pairing and what not with their openings/endings (mainly former). So here I am wondering how is it going to developed and this is newbie me. It was my third Gundam series. Anyway, Lacus and Kira met once in episode 6 and it will be a long time for them to interact again. That said here I am seeing another relationship happening. Hug, worries, tsundere, the works. So I'm like, "Um, is the opening not telling me something?" Then, they thought, "Hm, we didn't push that pairing. It's still cute. I know how we can get rid of the others." So with a very tiny foreshadowing or rather thrown in, it turns out they're siblings. Insert any "really..." reactions picture. So once that happened, I kid you not, they don't talk to each other again. Why? Because not your lover, that's why. That scene after the crazy battle happened with her father died, she leaned to the other guy because again, kitten you, you're not my lover. It is made for Gin going, "Oiiiiiii." It's rather lazy and that's why it was listed in that top 10 for pairing we want it out.

It's SAO divided. What I meant about opening is that it spoils the pairing, so you don't have to second guess. It's like "Oh that's the target. Got it." But after the series, I was like "Um...Yeah, that development...Eh..."
