I agree it would be nice to see her learn it but then the story would be called "Sakura" and not "Naruto". The only character in Shippuden I can think of who had the spotlight on them for any extent of time while they were training was Naruto. I think that if Kishi did give her a huge power-up it would have to come with an explanation or a montage but we don't even really see Sasuke training at all and he busts out new toys every fight and no one complains.

No worries.

Also sage mode you need a lot of chakra to use and maintain it. In the last databook it has been said that sakura has an average chakra not something thats high like naruto's.
I wonder did tsunade master that transformation technique she used aganist madara?

I'm...pretty sure a lot of people call BS when Sasuke gets those out of nowhere power-ups. Regardless, Sasuke getting those power-ups like that is BS, but it does set up a nice contrast to Naruto. Sasuke got everything for nothing, while Naruto had to work for it. No such contrast would work very well using Sakura. Sakura improved over time, while Sasuke degraded. Showing Sasuke getting those things with little effort made him look worse than he was before.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I really don't think we want Sakura to degrade after all the steady growth she's shown.

Sasuke is the Aizen of Naruto. There's always something new up his sleeve. (That's actually one of the things that bothers me about him. Naruto has to work his little butt off for every power-up he gets, while Sasuke has all of his handed to him.

About Slug Sage Mode, I don't mean I want her to learn it on panel for the next arc, or anything like that. What I meant was, I think it would be better for Kishimoto to have her know how to use it in an epilogue or after another time-skip. As you said, the hero of the series is Naruto, and having to show Sakura training for SSM would take the spotlight away from him for too long...
Having her learn it off panel is best, because it gives her a time-frame to train for it and to have it mastered by the next time we see her, which should be when she's an adult. Besides, I don't expect a regular shinobi like her to pack a Sage Mode in her arsenal until she's older and has even more refined control over her chakra. Naruto is able to master these things because he has such a huge pool of chakra to fall back on, but it will be a lot more work for Sakura to learn something like it.

This is the last major fight. I don't think she'll be fighting after this so it's best for her to go out with a bang.

I'm crossing my fingers that that's the case! The last time we looked forward to her "going out with a bang", her big surprise was sleeping bombs and a poisoned kunai. LOL. Two completely different scenarios, I know~ But I feel like she's much more serious this time around. Her determination jumps off of the paper and punches me in the face every time I look at that last page. I trust that Kishimoto won't mess this up! The first Neo-Sannin moment is on it's way!

I guess I don't really feel it's BS when you don't see a character for ages then they come back more powerful than before. I mean, unless they were sitting down watching TV and eating bon-bons. (or on Tumblr

Sakura has done a really good job of being absent a lot in Shippuden. Sometimes because the focus is on Naruto and sometimes because she's just not there. No explaination was really given for Sasuke. When did he work of perfecting his Sharangan? When did he pick up Susanoo? We don't know. This is Kishi's fault honestly he kind of just let that slide and let fans extrapolate from it but that won't work with Sakura, you're right about that. Hence, giving her an explanation, monologue or montage is the answer.

Queen Hinata is calling for heads now oh lawd...... She didn't get her special Naruto with the ramen. (road to ninja reference)

I have a feeling it is. She's talking about stored chakra so one can only assume she's about to get really busy here. Screw the poisoned kunais and sleeping bombs. And yes, the last panel gets me every time I look at it. I mean, that expression and her desire to show Naruto that she's not one to be taken lightly. Can't wait to see what she does and how strong she is compared to every other female in the series.

Kakashi was depicted as having mediocre chakra levels throughout the entire manga. In fact it was emphasized numerous times as a crippling detriment to his ability to maintain himself in battle. Kakashi has the honour of being one of the few characters to perish from excessive chakra consumption. Originally he was constrained to but a few usages of Raikiri and Kamui before he depleted his reserves and became bedridden (at one point it prevented him from acting as commander of his team during a very sensitive mission in P2) yet when we look at him now there is a stark contrast between the man who only a few arcs previously died from over exerting himself and the man who is currently using his two most powerful techniques sparingly.
If someone who possessed such a glaring weakness in terms of chakra quantities was able to overcome that limitation then why couldn't Sakura do the same? It isn't as if her chakra amount is deficient in any way. IIRC Chiyo actually made a comment that referenced Sakura having greater than average chakra quantities for being able to continue healing and battling after such a large duration of time had passed. Taking into consideration that allusion made as well as Sakura's precise chakra control and Kishi's willingness to endow characters with unprecedented enhancements why would she be incapable of learning Sage Mode?
The Byakugou is attained through mastery of the Yin Seal IIRC. It should be logical to assume that Tsunade did master it.

I think all sage modes are different. Just because naruto required an extremely amount of chakra for his doesn't mean the other sage modes requirements are the same. Furthermore, for all we know Slug Sage mode could require the mastery of chakra control.

The fact that Orochimaru was unable to perfect Sage Mode due to not having an efficient body would imply some level of commonality amongst the three modes. We are aware that the respective transformed states provide exclusive benefits like the Frog Kata but whether that entails the requirements necessary to master it being different is unknown currently. But personally I also believe that there may be some divergences in the learning process and that the chakra quantity stipulation can be overcome with precise manipulation and control of one's chakra.

And drawing a parallel of Minato to Hi...whatever her name is, isn't downgrading Minato?
Please. Don't make me laugh.
