I can't help thinking of the next chapter and I'm wondering if sakura did have the byakugou, with that diamond forming on her forehead, would it bring out a compliment from naruto? And if it did what would she do. Thinking back, this was one of the main reasons why sakura fell so in love with sasuke which was the compliment on her flaw. I can really see this happening and wondering what you guys think about it. Do you think sakura would notice that day it was naruto who complimented her?

I do think that byakugou is a strong possibility for her power up. Man it would be great to see this in the next chapter

So, anyone feels a bit funny that you reacted so heavily on 615, only to get this chapter? In other words, do you feel foolish for thinking something against your pairing?

 

I was in Las Vegas when 615 happened XD so I was actually pretty chill~ (even after I read it)

 

but I never doubted narusaku for a second >:3 I was still angry that Hinata got to have that speech....but eeh.. let her have it

Eh lowered it to 95% only cause there are a few loose factors, I mean many many NS things can come up, but its also mainly due to the 2 things which would need resolution, what to do with Hinata and Sakura's feelings for Sasuke.

 

Other than that, I see NS has the foundation now, the Sakura-Kushina stuff is set in stone. I mean going by how Kushina said all those things to Naruto to do this or find that, well the Sakura-Kushina thing was advocated for the audience that Sakura just in fact may be that girl. This is espcially just continuing further due to the similar past experiences both Minato and Kushina had with each other as children.

 

We can look forward with ease knowning that the foundation has been set, Sakura=Kushina, its done. Either NS becomes canon or the Kushina parallel dies with us. Its not going to change anytime now or in the future, heck when could Minato even notice Hinata or what could Hinata do in the present situation considering its team 7 fighting together, everyone else may just be watching. I mean when a 10 tailed demon god beast is a major threat and you need a whole team up of the world's strongest ninja to take it down, how does Minato have the time to notice Hinata and suddenly say, "Oh she must be like Kushina." Thats just not going to happen.

The thing is, there is a lot of stuff left open for NS needing to resolve, it cannot end before all these are addressed NS canon or not. Now we know Naruto has a lot of lingering stuff with Sakura, also there never was any evidence he actually stopped loving her, not to mention in this recent chapter, he still advocates he loves Sakura. So what actually major is left between Naruto and Hinata? I don't know what loose ends remain unless we really need a confirmation of Naruto's feelings again.

NH is just all H ... theres no N in it.. they just want Hinata to get everything she wants because she is the shy submissive girl.... it's really sad

Well he is asking people to support Naruto as in the series, as for anything else like invidivual characters or pairings, no. He may not even give a flying pig over any of this stuff. To him it could just easily for his story be like this: "Hmm guess I'll develop Sakuras feelings for Naruto, draw a conflict for her between Naruto and Sasuke, she ends loving Naruto." Hypothetically kishi could just have done something like this.

 

If any fan actually even thinks he is asking to support a pairing, do they not see the folly of such an action? Its like spoiling a part of the ending, let alone part of the fate for the main character, not to mention it would partly or pure fanservice in an ending rather than a creative one. As i said in my fanbases and their demands thread, no fanbase is entitled to anything like this, its not going to come true simply "because they want it to." Otherwise the series just becomes a serialized fanfiction and a sellout to the fans, giving them entirely what they want regardless of any premade development. Example, even if this went for the NH fanbase, it could honestly also end up just ruining even major development for Hinata like in 615. Fanbases or just fans should not be wanting this, they should respect the choices of the author and limited few who work with him decide the fate of the characters. If they don't like it, they shouldn't even be complaining cause I'm willing to bet most of us just read it online in "other places" so truly the majority of us are not even supporting the series, in truth only way I have supported the series in past years has been the clash of ninja games, UNS2, and UNS3 over these past 6 years. None of us are entitled or even have a right to say what goes in the series, we just follow the story and reserve the right to our opinions towards how the author choose the plot and actions of his characters, if we don't like it okay, thats our choice, otherwise fans should not just go around trying to make some crazy demands or think that something like a petition to change something would actually work.

 

I'm serious, if NS gets more notice of becoming canon and some anti-NS fan or small group of them anywhere even trys something like a petition to change the ending, now we are just talking plain insanity, fans of any base should not even try to think that a petition to change the ending to something we have no say in from the start actually matters. If NH or SS became canon, oh well, I'd still like NS more and just deal with it not being canon, sure I would be upset but I would not take an action like trying to petition the author to change it.

 

Besides, all we need to see for NS development, look at the build-up thread, that speaks for itself.

I meant he wants us to support Naruto the character, not any pairings. If NS doesnt happen i'd feel really let down with all this development he gave the. At this point i would prefer no pairings over NH/SS

Well supporting the character would then be support Naruto in his goals. To some though this could become a misconception, including who he loves or they think he loves. In a way for those of us in the NS base, we want Naruto to achieve his goal of Sakura alongside Sasuke. Its because we see Sakura as his goal behind Sasuke because of many events between him and Sakura that drove these things. Namely the Sakura-Kushina parallels, the similarities they had, the 457 event, etc. Also due to the recent 'girlfriend' thing from Minato, we consider that Naruto still loves Sakura. As in the NH camp, they are supporting him in that they think he loves Hinata, Events like pain, 615, and 469 give them the speculation that Sakura is out of the way and Naruto no longer loves her and at some point gained more feelings for Hinata despite no notification or build on these past events.

 

To me though, if its supporting the character as just Naruto himself, yeah that can be it but this can become something twisted among the fans. To me, this is simply referring to the series, support the series to see what resolution awaits team 7.

I dont know why but whenever I hear a NaruHina fan talk... i think theyre describing a fairy tale story that happens in Disney Movies... the girl meets the guy and they live happily ever after LMAO... no hate to the couple because I grew up being mainly a naruhina fan in the beginning of part 1 just because it seemed as though sakura didnt care about naruto... and to all the naruhina fans who say that now.... well they need to go read this thing from chapter 1. But I have seen so much development from naruto and sakura and their liking towards eachother that is how i switched ships.I honestly dont know what else Hinata knows about Naruto at this point other than his NINDO way and that his smile saved her.... from what? I dont really know but thats about all the history I have between these two. and that moment in 615, which i got bothered by was the moment I decided to let those fans do their thing and enjoy themselves.. i didnt bash or try to disprove of their thoughts. But when something happens for us... and they constantly bash us and swear and try to find every reason in the book to deny it... its like im talking to a bunch of little kids who love fairy tale endings. just a rant, needed to get it out that all narusaku fans would have it best ignoring them because they arent worth it to be honest.

Just listened to the narusakufc May podcast where James asked if we thought Sakura's speach was better, the same, or not as good as Hinata's speech. I agree with James that I liked Sakura's better because she was able to speak to the whole alliance, but other than that I think they were relatively equal. Both Hinata and Sakura used encouragement to keep the fight going on (Hinata only encouraged Naruto, but you have to admit that if Naruto gave up the whole alliance would be screwed) and managed to accomplish relatively similar things. However, I think that Sakura's power that she's waiting to reveal will top Hinata's moment for sure

In terms of pairings, I'd say that Sakura's speech does a beter job advocating for NaruSaku because it shows she knows him more than anyone else (Hinata only showed how much she knows Naruto's nindo).

I like Sakura's speech more because she contributed with something no one has done before, besides herself. Once agian she proves that she knows Naruto better than anyone and prevents the whole alliance from misunderstanding him, also reminding them that he's only human. It's like she reads his mind, she has done it before, in his fight with Kiba for example.

 

While Hinata conveyed the alliance feelings' to Naruto, Sakura conveyed Naruto's feelings to the alliance. I actually liked Hinata's speech too, I just can't get over her comment on his big and strong hand.

Except for the fact that Hinata repeated what Itachi and Neji told him so it doesn't have an equal impact compare to Sakura's speech.
