We also have Suigetsu Hōzuki and Jūgo who haven't been there and things seem to still go on course. We have some of the different kages which only made an appearance and they haven't been seen since. Save for Gaara.

We are also have the plant guy in Akatsuki who I cannot remember their name.

There are so many characters that play such small roles that it seems nothing would change if they never existed in the first place.

I think the point I am making is you don't need to be an important character to be alive or dead. If Kishi has a purpose, maybe their purpose IS to die.

Hinata has done nothing wrong no reason to kill her off. She really played an important part for a while. She was really the first person to believe in Naruto and Naruto was able to help her over come some of her "fears?" I guess. She was also the only person to have a crush on Naruto. I don't think you can deny a character just because you do not like there pairing.

Suigetsu and Jugo were the replacement for the old team once you think about the characters it all works out really well. Suigetsu was really elemental like Sasuke was. Jugo is powerful like Naruto was. Karin was a Sasuke fan like old Sakura just she is more useful.

The Kage are the leaders of the other village. They are people and Ninja just like konoha they all have a past just like Konoha they are kind of there to fill a space.

Akatsuki are the major villians (or were) they had to be there to be killed so thats what happened.

The thing is killing of people has to be done carefully it is easyer to keep someone alive and build on them then it is to kill them then build on them. All of the people you said have a reason to be there. The ones killed off no longer have a reason. I honestly see Hinata being around and making the pairing wars even worse. I think Kishi is really good at making lots of characters and making them work well together.

Sasuke-Sakura Scene

Sakura: Sasuke-kun! I'll go with you! I'm leaving Konoha!
Sasuke: And why do you think I 'ld even care, huh?
Sasuke's chidori sparkles with more lighting chakra , his eyes flash with killing intend at her. Sakura is a little take back by his reacción, but she remains in her spot.
Sakura: //…is this… really you…sasuke?//
Sasuke: Do what you want but step out of my way… if you don't want to end like this.
Sasuke points at Karin's body laying on the floor. Sakura's eyes widened at the view and a gasp escape hes lips at Karin's injuries, she just release that the girl was there in first place. Her torso was totally cover in blood.
Sakura: You… you… how could you do that?
Sasuke: (he smirks) Well, well, If you're already reacting like that for a a thing like this, why do you think you would be able to stay beside me?
Sakura: …
Sasuke: Hmp! Like I suppose.
Sasuke turns his face towards Karin.
Sakura: // Say something! Say anything! //
Sasuke: I'm just wasting my time here, I´ll finish what I started.
More lighting chakra starts to erupt from his hand.
Sakura: I… I could be useful to you!
Sasuke: … Hmp! I can alone
Madara: well Sasuke-kun, that isn't the way to talk to a lady (using Tobi's voice)
Madara appears from a swirl, his figure standing behind Sakura. She takes a couple of steps back for instinct and faces him.
Madara: I see that you didn't get rid of the burden yet. What's the problem? (using his normal voice)
Sasuke: Madara
Sakura: // Did he just said… Madara?//
He steps forward towards her with a fake smile. Sakura changed her exp​ression for a more determine one.
Madara: A Konoha nin hah?
Sakura makes another step back in a defensive pose.
Madara: Hey take it easy! I'm not going to attack you… yet. I remember you know, at that time you're with the copy nin and the kyubi jinjuuriky. What make you change sides?
He looks at her suspiciously.
Sakura: // so he was listening // I never changes sides. I want to help Sasuke-kun with his revenge.
Madara: Hmp, is that so?
Sasuke: I'm going of here, you take care of her body if you want.
Sasuke stops the fluid of chakra and starts to walk away.
Madara: Wait a second Sasuke-kun. (turning again towards Sakura) And how do you think you could be useful to us?
Sakura: I'm a medic nin. I can tell that his eyes need a little attention, I can take care of that… that is… if you aren't a medic nin too.
She says referring to Madara.
Madara: Me? Oh no, I was never good in that stuff, you know, saving lifes, it's not my think.
He answered her with a fake smile
Sakura: I see.
Madara: So, it's perfect, Don't you think Sasuke-kun? It would be great if a medic treat your eyes, she could even transplanted-
Sasuke: I said no! That is a closed theme!
Madara: ok ok, do not bother so easily… so tell me girl, what's your name?
Sakura: Haruno Sakura



Kakashi Scene (A couple a minutes ago)

Kakashi: I've to hurry.
He bites his thumb and makes a couples of hand signs.
Kakashi: Kuchinose-no jutsu!
A ''puff'' and a cloud of white smoke appears reveling his nin dog.
Pakkun: Yo Kaka-! What the-!
Pakkun starts to fall but he recovers landing on a branch and starting to run side by side with his master.
Kakashi: Pakkun! I need you to follow the essence of Sakura! Can you do that?
Pakkun: H-Hai!
Pakkun attempts to capture her essence.
Pakkun: this way!!
They start to run faster. Pakkun's eyes widened a little.
Kakashi: What's wrong?!
Pakkun: I smell Kiba, Lee and Sais' essence a little forward.
Kakashi: Allright! Kage Bunshin no jutsu!
Another 'puff' is listened and a bunshin appears beside them. He then starts to descend where the three konoha nins are laying unconscious.
Pakkun: Kakashi, what happen to them?
Kakashi: Sakura knocked them out
Pakkun: You mean… Sakura your pink hair student?
Kakashi: Hai
Pakkun: And why would she do that?
Kakashi: I'm not entire sure yet but-
Pakkun: !!!
Kakashi: ??
Pakkun: Sasuke's essence… is next to Sakura's.
Kakashi looks down.
Pakkun: And I can sense someone with a huge amount of chakra near them too!
Kakashi: !! // Madera! //
Pakkun: What's the meaning of this Kakashi? Are you hiding me something?
Kakashi took a deep breath.
Kakashi: … well you see…



Meanwhile Kakashi's Bunshin Scene

Kakashi approaches Sai's body and gently kicks his arm.
Kakashi: Hey Sai! Wake up!
Sai: Ugh… What… what happened?
Kakashi: Kiba!Lee!
Kiba and Lee start to wake up too.
Kakashi: Sakura knocked all of you out with a sleeping bomb
Sai: Oh… I remember now
The three start to standing up a little dizzy.
Kiba: Sakura damnit! Why would she want to go alone? I don't understand.
Lee: Me either.
Kiba: But what I can say it's all your fault Sai!
Sai: What are you talking about?
Kiba approaches him angrily.
Kiba: If you haven't open your big mouth then-!
Kakashi: Shut up both of you! fight won't resolve anything
Kiba & Sai: …
Lee: Sakura-san, where is she now?
Kakashi: I'm following her with Pakkun, we've to hurry. It seems she has already arrive there.
Kiba, Lee, Sai: Hai!



Kakashi Scene (A couple a minutes ago)

Kakashi: … they're ok
Pakkun: ha?
Kakashi: sai, lee and kiba, they aren't hurt at all
Pakkun: good to hear. Kakashi, I can feel someone with a huge and strange amount of chakra approaching us
Kakashi: Yeah, I can feel it too
Pakkun: but… his essence it's very familiar you know?
Kakashi: I can imagine of who you're talking about. We're going to make a halt then

They landed on one of the huge branches of an enormous tree
Kakashi: Damnit Tenzou!
Pakkun: 3 seconds
Kakashi: And here we go…
An hectic Naruto descends in front of Kakashi trying to catch his breath.
Naruto: Kakashi-sensei!!
Kakashi: Yo Naruto!
Pakkun: Naruto
Kakashi: What're you doing here?
Naruto: I…

Naruto: Then- What happened with Sakura?! And by the way, where's Sai?!

Sasuke-Sakura Scene

Madara: Haruno Sakura hah?
He starts to walk in a circle around her, observing her with his Sharingan.
Sakura: // why is he looking at me like that?! //
Sasuke: I don't think we need her
Madara: Oh Sasuke-kun, don't be so knucklehead. You know it would be very rude to deny her help, besides you need some medical attention, really.
Sasuke: But-
Madara: I know, something it's not right here.
(using Tobi's voice) What's the problem Sa-ku-ra-san?
Sakura: // damnit! // I don't have any. I'm just here to help Sasuke-kun. I wish I can accompany you, of course if you let me first.
Madara: I like this girl you know, she's more educated than you.
Sasuke: Hmp!
Sasuke begins to walk towards Sakura and stop in front of her.
Sasuke: So… are you betraying Konoha after all?
Sakura: Hai
Sasuke: And tell me Sakura
'swooooo' He suddenly appears at high speed behind her.
Sasuke: Do I have to believe that you're betraying the dobe too?
She gulps. The Narutos issue related was not something she really wanted to talk at the moment. A small and invisible tear begins to form in her eye.
Sakura: …
Sasuke: Hah? What do you say?
He murmurs at her ear while approaching his katana to the front of her neck. His hot breath on her ear and the strong smell of blood causing her shivers of disgust.
She turns around to face him and look deep in his eyes, trying to look the more convince than she had ever been.
Sakura: I am. I'm betraying Naruto. I had never cared about him and I never will.
Sasuke: I see. That is something you don't hear every day, doesn't it, Naruto?
Sakura's eyes widened in shock at his statement. In which moment Naruto has arrive there? Turning her head a little she catchs a glance of Naruto's exp​ression. He was hurt.

I realize that it's probably too long to be one chapter, but still, what do you think? I thought it was quite possible, actually. This thread is for the discussion of this prediction and maybe some other predictions.

Oh wow! That's reaally good... But the last part, god no... I can't take it anymore with Naruto in so much pain, though I'm sure Sasuke isn't gonna go like that to Sakura, kinda seemed a little out of character for him to acknowledge Naruto's presence, geez I hope Sakura doesn't say that, lying or not I will cry... I know, i'mma babii

The sad thing is, I can see a lot of this happening. Sakura can be that reckless, and Sasuke is that vindictive. Not to mention it seems a lot like the writing fumbles Kishimoto is known for.

I hope it doesn't go like that, because Sakura saying something that hurtful, right in front of Naruto... Man, the Haters would have a field day.

Like in a lot of those action hero animes,when someone is about to get hit or killed,the hero will pop up at the very last minute.Same thing will happen with Naruto,right?Savin' Sakura from Sasuke, and when Sakura closes her eyes about ready to get hit,CLASH! There's Naruto blocking the attack right in front of her. xD

Things like that happen A LOT! Well,since it's just a prediction,it might not happen either,so we just gotta wait and see what Kishi wants to show us lol.

No, you missed the point. You misunderstood what I am saying.

Someone said Karin would never die because she is not important enough to. I am merely saying that there are characters that really have no importance being alive either. We also have other characters who were killed off, but really had no other purpose other than to be there. Like that one guy from the chunnin exams that Gaara killed. (Again terrible at names)

Kisimoto makes Naruto's life a living hell sometimes, and what does Sasuke get? Exactly what he wants, he killed Danzou and Itachi; gets a freakin power bust randomly when Naruto works his butt off. Sorry it's not bashing, it's just true; Sasuke gets what he wants and Naruto always has a sad moment. That doesn't make much sense though, because you are basically saying if a character isn't a plot mover, they can only be useful if they die. But there were tons of characters that have been introduced, used, and then fallen away once their point in the story ended. They didn't need to be killed; their part in the story was just small. The same goes for Hinata. While she wasn't a plot mover, that doesn't mean she was always completely unimportant. She gave Naruto a goal in part I, and in part II she showed she was able to change because of Naruto. Now that she has done this, she doesn't have much relevance and she will fall to the back ground. She has served her purpose, most likely, but that doesn't mean she needs to be killed in order to regain some purpose to the story :/

Uh, really? Sasuke is the major plot mover of the story. If you killed him off the story would lose its direction. Sakura, while not as big of a plot mover as Sasuke, also is a major character. If anything happened to her, you can bet the story would not continue the same way. Just because the story is called Naruto doesnt' mean it is only about him and only he can move the plot.

I think it's quite easy keeping a character alive but not having them in the story o.O Not sure what the difference is between alive but not present and dead? Genma had importance in part I, but do I care if I see him ever again? Not really, and he didn't even have to be killed off.

I agree that Karin probably has more to add to the story. However, even if she had nothing to add, that doesn't mean she necessarily has to be killed. In fact, some characters that are unimportant still deserve some resolution so that the reader can feel a sense of completion with their story. Does Karin's story feel complete? Would most people be satisfied with its conclusion if she was killed off? I don't think so.

Yes, I agreed that it would be something plausible and in a way it would fit Kishimoto's writing style. I too, however, hope that Sakura will not say that (even with a good reason, the outcome will still be bad)

If that is true then yes, the bashing contest against Sakura coming from the Sakura haters will rise in a level that we will only have peace here (where we still can have a calm and objective view of the situation)

Let just hope that she won't have to go that far (at least, not saying those hurtful things toward Natuto) to gain Sasuke's trust.

You're right, Sasuke does have what he want. Just take the fight with his brother, like Madara had said, Itachi didn't fight like he usually fought, he was sick (and by the look of it, it seem like it was at a serious critical point) and he had already made his mind that he wished for Sasuke to defeat him. So, even if it was a great fight, it was still a tricked one. So, in that way, I say that Sasuke didn't really kill his brother (in fact, I think it said that it was Itachi sickness, if I remember). No matter the outcome of the fight, Itachi would have die anyway and he would have give Sasuke all the great power that he now possess. that why, to me, Sasuke gain his new power in a 'easy' way. Plus, if he wouldn't have gain these new power, he wouldn't have been as successful with his fight with Danzo (especially if he didn't have Susanoo).

As for Naruto yes, you could say that Kishimoto make Naruto's life a 'living hell'. However, I think that we shouldn't underestimate his capacity ether. The pain that Naruto have to face have make him stronger and wiser and, to me, that is a good thing. So far, to me, we have seen a Naruto that have face many difficulties but did raised himself again and even more mature then before. That, to me, is what I like about Naruto and that why we shouldn't underestimate him. Just because he hyperventilate because of all the information about Sasuke doesn't make him weak. He did have his weak moment but raised himself above those difficulties and whatever the outcome of the meeting between Sakura and Sasuke, I'm sure that, yes, he would take it bad, but that will make him grow some more. Hell, maybe that will be the key to make him realize that Sasuke true darkness (because, so far, that the only think that Naruto stubbornly refuse to see and make his growing process stagnate). As soon as we see Naruto realizing that fact, I think that we will see one hell of a new Naruto (Kinda like the one that we see against Pein).

Have faith in Naruto's capacity Shippuden girl, because Naruto is strong and will succeed in defeating whatever obstacle that he will have to face. Plus, he won't be alone, he will have Shikamaru, his new confident, like Kishimoto have said.

That's a pretty damn good prediction... Very well thought out. And really, I wouldn't mind having that happen to Naruto: more drama, anger, and reason to do what must be done.
