Arkham City looks awesome but I have one small problem with it. How come Batman doesn't dance anymore?

Just got my copy in the mail!!

I wanted the Collectors addition but couldn't shell out $100. Got a cool "pamphlet" (seriously it could have at least been made from more sturdy material...) comic from my Amazon pre-order with some nice artwork.

Just picked up my pre-order from Best Buy. Got Robin, his challenge maps (I think...) and a Gotham City Impostors beta invite! a_thumbs.gif w00t.gif

Way to disappoint, Mr. Wayne....


The damn game corrupted on me.... Was gonna do a last challenge mode before I go to sleep when the kittening game data corrupts....
Had to re-install the game + my damn DLCs.... I'm hoping my saved game is intact, which I'm thinking it is. But argh.... wallbash.gif

It's not gonna finish before 1AM, so argh..... headdesk.gif Just going to sleep.

Blargh, so it turned out it was my save data that was corrupted... Had to delete it. Start over, danngggg....

I can't believe they put Clayface in it. cool.gif Grundy was awesome too and so was the Hush. Hoping they'll release some new villain DLC.

Anyone find Harley Quinn's pregnancy results in Joker's office? She sings a lullaby to the baby during the credits if you find it before finishing the game. Otherwise, it's Joker's singing.

That sets up another 3rd of the sequel, along with Hush. The last 3rd in a possible sequel is...well, you must complete the Mysterious Figure sidequest. Or at least the Hush and the Figure sidequest can be DLC possibilities. The result of the Figure quest can be a game on its own, actually. wink.gif

Also in the collector's edition booklet with concept art shown you'll find a Sionis Industries banner that says "The new Steel Mill Expansion Site Completion Next Spring.

So... I kind of don't like sidequests in general. Enix has made me hate them forever. Because of this I rarely do them. In this case I might be missing something but... if it takes Ra's blood to make the cure (otherwise it takes hundreds of years to make the enzyme needed to make the cure) doesn't this essentially mean anyone who was infected has basically bought the farm? They kind of don't resolve that. "Well all these people are going to die. Oh well. Joker has been defeated. Game Over." Anyone else bugged by this?
Otherwise, love the game.

You forget. Batman gives Robin his own blood to synthesize a cure. Also, Ra's is pretty much just stuck above the gates in Arkham City for some blood harvesting. At some point, Batman, Robin, or someone's gonna take his blood. Heck, Mr. Freeze is pretty much a friendly enemy at this point, I doubt he'd mind making another cure for the guy who saved his wife.

I remembered that and I suppose that could be the deus ex machina finish to that. But a disease is a disease, there are multiple ways to treat the symptoms, but usually there are only a few, in many cases, one actual cure, with a minute bunch of recipes.

I know Ra's body was up for the taking, but knowing the league of shadows the second Batman turned his back on it, they retrieved his body for the Laz pit. And that puts a damper on Freeze stepping in to help again.
