I was amazed, Amazed that we came on top of England, who was the favorite to win in group C.

But now the easy teams are gone. Now America has to face, with the real titans of soccer.

The whole deal, it's simply inspiring. It gives off this aura "Never Give Up"

The way they've played, it's unreal, the determination, the grits, the steel. I don't think there are too many teams that play with that much determination.

Italy lost 3-2 to Slovakia.

I wonder where that was during the first two Italian games.

But too much time wasting by the Slovakian's near the end of the game facepalm.png

I'm not following Italy's group, but I have a question. Are they going home? France is going already. It seems a good deal of strong teams or would-be-(use-to-be-)-strong teams are being sent packing.

Italy is going home. Had they tied, the would move on.

Yeah, the difference between top tier countries and lower tier ones seems to have lessened. Makes for a more interesting WC.
