Is that how a politician should be? I think those Kages are also horrible politicians. Vote Shikamaru for President. ^^

This is an equally stupid thing to say. Really? Shallow? Because of showing emotions? Suddenly girls can't show emotions without looking shallow?

Really? Hinata's love for a man she barely knows and Ino's reaction for a man she barely knows. Not shallow and a stupid thing to say?

C'mon. Think before you type. Both of these reactions are based off a shallow 12 year old girls way of thinking. They both have a mental image of the man in their heads that they have spent no real time getting to know. These 'kids' live in a world that should mature them far more than they have.

Showing emotions isn't a problem, but for them to progress this far, only to have them act like shallow 12 year old girls. Kinda disappointing.

Oh so 12 year old girls have a crush is now shallow serouilly. You need to think too before you type as well. I am a girl by the way it hard for any gender epically girls to get rid of a crush that easily . My first crush lasted until I was in middle school I didn't know him that well either.

Well, we all know that the way village leaders are running the world right now isn't the best. That's what Gaara and Naruto(othes of their generation of course) are suppose to change! If it was perfect it wouldn't need fixing!

A crush is one thing, to say you had deep emotions for someone you didn't know, is another. Here is a question for you to ponder; if you last saw the guy when you were 12 -13, lived your life and heard 3 years later that he was a wanted man, would you be sitting there bawling like your mom died?

Sure I had crushes when I was 12, but by the time I was 15 -16 years old, I knew the difference between a crush and love. Sakura, I can understand the conflict of emotions she has, for she had time to build a relationship with Sasuke. The others, not so much.

It could be Ino is just upset because they have decided to do whatever is necessary to stop Sasuke, including kill him. None of those 9 have ever had to kill any enemy before, but now they are faced with killing one of their own to prevent war. It's an intense situation already, not even counting whatever feelings Ino had for Sasuke before. And like Shino said, if Ino is like that then they can expect Naruto and Sakura to have the hardest time dealing.
But,
Naruto is starting to deal with it on his own already, which we saw in this chapter where he admitted he doesn't understand Sasuke anymore. Naruto finally came to understand Sasuke's need for revenge, but now that he's gotten it and hasn't returned to Konoha Naruto can't understand why.
Sakura seems to be able to deal with it now too, since she's made up her mind. iluvff.gif
Just because Ino was crying at that moment doesn't mean she's shallow. Call it a shallow moment. Even if it's off screen we can expect her to dry her eyes, shape up, and be a useful part of the team that goes after Sasuke.

We're not talking about you here, are we? :zaru

It's pretty shallow if Ino hasn't been able to give up on 'crushing' on a traitor. And Hinata liking Naruto, barely knowing him? Yeah, that's shallow. It'd be like a girl 'falling' for a guy based on looks, or a part of their personality without evening knowing them.

That IS the definition of shallow. No need to get angry at Sir Whirly for making a point.

Just wanna toss in my two cents into the debate tongue.gif

I'm a girl and I honestly couldn't understand what the point of Ino 'supposedly' crying over Sasuke was. As has been mentioned before, she didn't know him/didn't ever really talk with him, and her reaction to me is just so...out of place and misplaced.

So, really, in essence (and if you forget all his homicide) Gaara would make the best leader? Because he's supposed to change the world? I mean it would make sense slightly, but nobody knows how this will play out. Mifune's only debate for making Raikage leader was because he was TOO emotional, then again we don't know what else the Raikage has done.

On another subject, there's another thing about Sakura 'acknowledging' Naruto's feelings, VERBALLY.

We've had Lee confess to Sakura, Sakura to Sasuke, Hinata to Naruto, and through Sai's mouth, Naruto to Sakura. Out of all these, I believe Sakura is the ONLY one to revisit the confession. In Lee's confession, Sakura had started to respect him more, but nothing more like 'the fool's in love with me.' Sasuke thanked Sakura, Naruto had a FLEETING thought about Hinata, and so on. Sakura is the only one (because she has to talk to him or some other outside force like not having the person in front of you) to consciously accept these feelings, and announce it to others.

Very good sign, if you ask me.

So, how do you guys think the Sasuke/Kage fight will go down?

Also, do you think we'll see more of Sakura going to meet Naruto next chapter? I would normally say no, but I was wrong for a few chapters thinking Kishimoto would hold off everytime with the Sai/Sakura talk. biggrin.gif

Raikage alone > Sasuke

All 5 Kage = Bloody murder.

C'mon. Think before you type. Both of these reactions are based off a shallow 12 year old girls way of thinking. They both have a mental image of the man in their heads that they have spent no real time getting to know. These 'kids' live in a world that should mature them far more than they have.

And that is NOT what you said either. Because I agree with that and said as much. Several times over. And I agree now that you've actually elaborated. But that is not what you said. Case in point:

QUOTE
Am I the only one disappointed by Ino? Seriously, crying over Sasuke, who she has had no interaction at all in the entire manga. I mean WTF? Sakura I can understand, but Ino? Kishi is making all the girls in Konoha look pretty damn shallow...

Hellooooo vague statement coming off like condemning the girls for their emotions.

Trust me, I do think before I type, but I often wonder if a lot of others do, judging by the internet in general.

I think we're all comically overstimating Raikage. Also I think the Kages are suffering from the lack of people like Nicolo Machiavelli in their world, he would've taught them this and that about power politics.

Or will the Kage's find Sasuke already engaged in a battle against Naruto, Kages might not interfere in that battle, given if Sasuke wil be found by Naruto first.

I don't. As much as I like Ino, that kind of thread would be pretty pointless.
