Pujols and Holliday back to back only to be thwarted by a Walk-off when I saw the pitch I shook my head before the bat hit. Ugh.
At least Opening Day is tomorrow, but it's against the Astros who are...0-6. Wow...I remember when they were still fighting the Cardinals in the post-season. Since they used Oswalt against Halladay(Which was futile!) and no Berkman I'll forget the two losses. I'll just remember the blown saves and the start by Garcia, if he's our number 5 this'll be a good year. (AS SOON AS CARPENTER STOPS THROWING OVER THE PLATE! AND FIXES HIS MECHANICS!)
Final notes for weekend
Who saw Milton flipping the Bird to Ranger's fans? Oh the lawls, he's not helping again.
Yankees win......BOOOOOO!!!!
What's with all the errors this weekend? Check the highlights, balls out of gloves, wild pitch wins, even slpstick courtesy of Boston. WTF?

Give it, time. His ERA will climb up there before the season's out. Trust me.

I say that as a Rangers fan who watched Millwood pitch for four years. He tended to start strong and finish...well, not so strong. It could be the Texas heat. It's doomed manys of our pitchers.

Jim Joyce blows Detroit Tiger's Pitcher Armondo Galarraga's Perfect Game on the Final Out. He Got Denkingered on one of the worse calls I've ever seen, and I'm a Cardinal fan!

Update:Okay, Jim Joyce is my new friend, but Bud Selig is not. He blew it big time, he could've overturned the game, and would the analysts on TV STOP SAYING IF THE GAME IS OVERTURNED THAT CARDINAL FANS WOULD WAIL ABOUT THE 85 CALL!!! Damnit, this is 2010, quit bringing it up this is a different situation!

Guess what? He's been suspended indefinitely like Bradely was Last Year, and is still owed 2.5 years of a 5 year 91 million contract by the Cubs. HA!!! And in this video Jake Peavy also shows why he's a better pitcher in the National League.

Your thoughts, Nate d00d?
(For the younger readers, a "record store" was a building that you had to go to when you wanted to buy music.)
(For the younger readers, "buying music" was the way we acquired it, since we couldn't just… you know what, let's just get back to the Bowen song. Stupid kids, you ruin everything.)

Be the Ultimate Ninja! Or Reaper! Or Zombie Killer... or something. Play Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN!

I hate losing Smoak, but between him and Chris Davis, one was eventually going to be traded. Smoak is a far more patient hitter, but if we had to lose him, Cliff Lee was worth it. I've heard a lot of praise of Bleaven, so he might be a good pick up as well.
We have decent starting pitching, but not real ace, so I can't complain.
The Rangers would have made the playoffs anyway, but I doubt they would have won anything. This gives us a chance. We're still an underdog, but closer to a legit contender. The sad thing is I doubt we can resign him, even if Ryan/Greenberg complete the sale soon, it'll be hard, so it's a rental, but sometimes you got to try and we were able to do it without giving up Perez, Holland, or Scheppers.
I wish Lowe wasn't hurt. Our bullpen is good, but overworked and we traded Ray for Benji Molina. He'd be a nice addition.
We gave up quite a bit, but got an ace without selling the entire system. So, I'm happy.
DOOD!

In other news Buster Posey is amazing making the Giants the leaders in the Wild Card, NL central is a fight to the finish.
Whitey Herzog made it into the hall of fame along with Andre Dawson. (EXPOS BE PRAISED!!!) Making Sunday night Baseball on ESPN the hall of fame game. Cards v Cubs. Herzog wins.
UPDATE: NO HITTER MATT GARZA!!!

CLIFF LEE HAS AGREED TO TERMS WITH THE PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES FOR FIVE YEARS 115 MILLION. HE'S TROLLED BOTH TEXAS AND NEW YORK!!!
I really don't like it, one of these days it's going to become too expensive and a team will either have to pay until the end of the world or go broke. Also the fact that the Phillies have become the Yankees and Damnit I hate Boston and New York!
