I was wondering what were some of the characters everyone used. Up until recently, I was using Chun Li, Fei Long, Ken. Now, I'm putting more time in with Cammy then any other character. Fei Long, Chun Li and Sakura coming in respectively. Even though I use Sakura more, I'm trying to stay away from the Shotokan characters. Almost everyone online uses either Akuma or Ken.

Also in regards to SF4 art, I have a link to a DeviantArt guy that I believe was commission by Capcom to do work for the game and other games from Capcom.

Ah, yes, UdonCrew are the group of artists who put out official art and comics for Capcom. They do have some great artwork.

I finally unlocked all characters last night. Gouken is pretty cool, but I'll stick to using Chun-Li or Cammy online.

I'll post and pin the SF4 tournament topic today so we can see how many people are interested.

I found the soundtracks (Both Limited Edition and original Japanese soundtracks) but I haven't found the OVA, Ties That Binds. Does anyone has it for download?

Capcom have just released the PDF version of their very nice Training Manual for SF4. It has character art, an interview with Seth Killian, and best of all it's FREE!

Well, guys, I still am in the battles of Ranked Matches, hoping to get a lot better through practice. I tell ya, a lot of the guys I've fought are tough, but good sports too. I try to be one as well. Who knows? Maybe I'll bump into one of you guys online and we can have some battles!

Characters I have come to hate.

• Abel: Enough with the freaking grabs man.
• Rufus: He is beyond annoying. Just shut up already.
• Sagat: And they say Akuma is overpowered? Psh...
• Ken: STOP WITH THE SHORYUKEN DAMN IT.

Abel's not that bad, as long as its not computer Abel who does nothing but roll and grab. I believe his roll works the same way as Capcom vs SNK 2's roll where you can grab them out of it.

Sagat... yeah he's a little overpowered, and wait until you learn how to focus cancel into ultra from a Tiger Uppercut.

For Ken... uh... *points back at the Ken Flowchart*

But at the moment, I'm having a huge problem fighting my friend's C.Viper. He pretty much did all of her trials and spent a long ass time in training with her.

Oh yeah, Goken's pretty bad, and by bad I mean pretty broken. They've banned him in tournaments because they don't know whether or not he's broken... Seth too but noone really cares about him...

I've been using Cammy heavily, I noticed almost everyone I play uses Ken or Akuma. Akuma it's usually ok because they dont' know how to play him. They figure out his basic movies and the demon rage, but can't pull off either of them very well. I can't tell you how fun it is to Cannon Spike a guy using Demon Rage.

But my favorite is the d/c opponents. I had three of them disconnect on me last night. One of them in the second round with 10% life left with me in the animation of doing the finishing blow.

Gawd, that's irritating.

I haven't played online since True and I had our epic battle, too busy working. It sounds like a pretty grim picture you guys are painting, I hope Capcom's upcoming patch will punish disconnecters.

As far as most irritating characters go, it's definitely CPU Abel. He. Will. Not. Stop. Rolling. Next time I get on the 360 (tomorrow/weekend), I'll try out what Lord Roy suggested - grabbing him during his roll. Training Mode is simply brilliant, you can make the dummy do anything you want it to do with the record function.

My gosh, sometimes i wish my 360 was a more reliable piece of hardware, I'd like to play/slaughter you guys. =D

I can't believe how much this game has re-sparked the fighting gamer in everyone. It almost feels like the old arcade games. Bravo Capcom, Bravo!

Though I wish this can also happens for PS3 owners, but most of us don't have the console. That will be super awesome if we have 2 different console tournament!

I especially love the comic on the first page.

Last night, I completed all Normal Challenge trials with Chun-Li. The first Hard one is a little frustrating, I just can't land the final hit in the combo as the gap between me and Dan is too big! The combo is:

(Jump in) Heavy Kick
(Crouching) Light Punch x3
Light Punch
Heavy Punch

I've tried various timings, but Chun-Li keeps whipping the final punch.

Ooh, just found a video demonstrating Chun-Li's trial mode. There are videos for other characters as well. I'll watch it and see if they show the Hard trials.

EDIT: Yup, the Hard trials are included! The one I'm stuck on begins at 4:45. I guess I just have to keep practising.
