Several people are reporting to me that recent chapters of my fic are 'disappearing,' even though ff.net says they're still there in the stats folder. Also getting sporatic wierd error messages (It claims I'm using an old link when I clicked on the 'login' button on the top of the ff.net homepage, but not when I click on the same link coming from one of the other ff.net pages? Huh?) and finding that chapters are disappearing for fics I've read, myself, only to reappear a few minutes later. Something screwy is going on, but it seems to be inconsistant whatever it is.
You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

I'm seeing about the same problem. When I try to do a search, it can't find anything more recent than July 10.

When I try to filter down fics in the Naruto category to Naruto (Char. 1) and Sakura (Char. 2), it won't show anything from the last two weeks or so, and it is also telling me that some stories cannot be found even though they've been up long enough that that shouldn't be the case.

Ditto. Plus, it is also saying that some stories aren't even there even though I see it right there on the screen.

Okay, one more thing I've tracked down: Alerts are down again (or at least not all of them are going through in a timely fashion). Not unexpected, since usually they are the first thing to go on ff.net, but figured I'd mention it.

What the hell?! I just posted my new story and the server changed my profile to what it was MONTHS ago and my stories and favourites ain't there!!!

The search seems to be working again for me, and I received 2 alerts this morning so everything should work again... well work as well as FF.net ever works...

Well, depending on where you're looking from on ff.net (from my author's page, from a direct search, or from the filtered down menu) Training for the Job has 66, 67, or 69 chapters. According to my login menu, I've got 69 chapters, but my hit counter hasn't changed in the past 24 hours while I've mysteriously recieved 4 reviews.
Something REALLY screwy is STILL going on at ff.net. Usually, by now, they would announce 'we know there's a problem and we're working on it' at the front page, which they haven't, so that either means they are unaware of the problem (unlikely) or it's something that is making it impossible for them to inform us about what's going on.

Hey, anyone getting a page saying "Sorry, story with id #### not found" or something? I've been getting it randomly, even with my own story. It's kinda hard to check if my own story updated. Also, I'm not getting my story link in my user profile at times, anyone else had that happened?

It keeps saying my chapterss aren't there. 3 or 4 people have posted for chapter 9, and only then does chapter 10 finally come up. And when Iget an alert, the new chapter is never there, even if I just read it.

Here's what I always do.
Whenever something like that happens, I go to the address bar and I replace the chapter number with the previous chapter.
I always thought that the author deletes the chapter because of some mistakes with uploading.

That's a bad thing to assume. I've gotten literally thousands of e-mails asking me why I deleted chapters 67\68\69 of Training, because people don't realize that ff.net is what's screwing up, and I'm deleting nothing. What the hell can I do about it?
