I am being realistic... There's no way in hell I'll ever think Sakura has the same potential strength as Naruto, so she will always be weaker. Strong as kitten? Oh yes, but she will still lagg behind Naruto in the end. I think Sasuke is the only one who's supposed to be able to match Naruto in the very end, and Naruto will overcome his weaknesses to save his precious people. After Haku, that's been his drive either way... to get strong enough to be able to protect his friends and loved ones... And this is a very mainstream shonen manga, so I still believe in my previous post! It's like that in close to all big Shonen Jump series! If the bad guys looks like they win, they just have to threaten the main character's loved ones to see the hero get his second wind and reach strength no one had ever seen him (or her) use before... It's one of the unwritten rules of Shonen I reckon!

Of course I believe that NaruSaku will happen. Ever since the Promise of a Lifetime, to be exact. The fact that Naruto is willing to go to the extent of putting his feelings aside for Sakura's sake simply shows the depth of his feelings. Sakura's acknowledgement that Naruto has always understood her was a far cry to the start of the series when she said that Naruto was someone who didn't understand her at all, and at that point NaruSaku became truly canon in my mind. Shippuden has done nothing to change this, their day to day interaction simply brings them closer and I can safely say that NaruSaku has a high chance of occurring.

No, it won't be Sasuke that rivals Naruto in power, becoz there's always this thing about good winning evil. So I reckon, it'll bePein, whilst Sasuke fights Itachi LOL.

ANd the part where Sakura is weaker, yes she will be, but not by much, you have ANY idea how freaking useful it is to fight halfway, then get healed by your love? XDDDDD Naruto would fight with renewed vigor!

If what I hear is true about when Kishimoto is ending the manga soon(I've heard as early as the end of 2008), I believe in Naruto and Sakura. I don't believe in that mumbo-jumbo of unrequited love being returned immediately without being shown; love is a two way street that is gradually paved. Naruto and Sakura in my opinion have given and received the best and growth of emotion between each other in the series. I honestly think such length of development shouldn't just vanish when Sasuke returns.

If I'm not mistaken, Sakura is the only character to make a vocal declaration of love (Naruto's declaration was in the promise that he made; Hinata has not made any such declaration); but at the same time, it was filled with complaints about how Sasuke treats her. To me, it's always been more physical attraction than any other. To me, Sakura does have some physical attraction to Naruto (fishing for the compliment about being more womanly while blushing, the whole admiration before he pulls out a perverted jutsu) and she works well with Naruto while on missions and out, much more than she ever did with Sasuke. And that second emotional attraction is much more important to a meaningful relationship than physical.

I've believed in NaruSaku since chapter 3 when Naruto "read Sakura's mind" even though Sakura claims Naruto doesn't understand her at all.

Agree, the likelihood of other pairings pales in comparison to NaruSaku. Because well, really, what else can happen if he is trying to end it? Surely just bust Akatsuki, own Pein, kill Madara, and yeah, peaceful stuff...So NaruSaku ftw! XD

In mainstream shonen, Naruto would reach new levels of strength if Sakura's life was at stake like in the Gaara fight (awesome fight btw). The best way for any shonen manga hero to grow stronger is just to wait for some of his precious people to be threatened, and then pull a new level of strength out of their ass. If Pein punches Sakura like "POW, right in the kisser", Naruto will be pwnsome even if he was half dead before Sakura got hit.

Sakura is Naruto's pillar of strength now, and he's probably hers! They will grow stronger together, and we'll just take it from there.

i really beleive NaruSaku will happen, not only is there a mountain of evidence pointing toward them, but i have a friend who's father went to collage with kishi and she and kishi were talking on the phone and he said he planned narusaku the whole time and when you think about it all through the naruto series it never really implied that kishi was pushing for either sasusaku or naruhina the story since sasuke left has all been centered around narusaku and even tho you could say sakura is still in love with sasuke there hasn't been any indication that she really still is or that she ever was i mean she did tell him that when he was going to leave but she was in a state of desperation and we don't really know for sure that it was any more than a childhood crush but anyway NaruSaku4eva!

I believe. I believe in NaruSaku because they do interact and they do have mutual feelings for each other. How many other girls have interacted with Naruto? None to the extent of Sakura. I don't like it because of the Promise of the Lifetime. I like it because of their interaction and the fact that they have more of a balanced relationship than any of the other main pairings.

What how when and where? I'm skeptical. I just never tend to believe these "I met and talked to Kishi!" stories, so no offense. And 2... why would he divulge such info? Then again, it's pretty obvious... XD

That must mean that her friend's father is a manga artist as well, so perhaps we know his name. Kishi went to "art college" where they educate manga artists, and... well, not much else. But that's awesome! Now we have an insider in the biz!

Since I first saw Naruto I loved Narusaku, and even started beliving it has a chance after reading Mizura's Essy (thanks Mizura ^^)

Just watched shippuden 34. I think we can see, depending on the way they do it, whether NaruSaku has a high importance. It's happening, slowly but surely.
