[Tsuki Hoshino]

Sephiroth summoned the Meteor and brought Geostigma to the planet. Im not following your question. (???)

Technically Geostigma was like plan B. as in "oh plan A failed, but that's okay because i have a back up!" at the end of the day, though he ultimately summoned it, meteor failed and so did he. He was defeated before Meteor could do catastrophic damage and he got to sail around the universe on the planets decayed husk   

Geostigma was formulated as a way to get back and try his conquest a second time.

From where I stand a genjutsu would be an even bigger cop out, I mean, let this series die without any dignity, 'cause it really doesn't deserve any. Milk has been spilled and dried and it smells rotten now.

 

I think the idea is believable and could even be worth investing in.....aaaaaaand that's precisely why Kishi won't do anything. I stopped expecting anything good from what he does.

 

Still, you can plan a fan fiction with this idea!

Im just gonna say that [Correct me if im wrong] according to Kakashi 7 days/ a week in that Itachi Tsukuyomi is about 2-12 seconds in the real world and he ended up unconscious for 2 weeks straight, and who knows how long he stay in bed if Tsunade not come back and heal him.
 
I am very suck and math, Kate can you calculate how long 15 years [From the chapter you mention that the worst nightmare start until TL+GAIDEN+NOVEL+BORUTO MOVIE all combine] in IT world = how many days in real world??
 
Little remainder [Again correct me if im wrong] If people get trap and wrap in that 10 tails tree for a month or more they will turn into mindless puppet like white zetsu.

Kishi said in one of his intervies that "The Last" took 2 years to be made. So I begin to read the manga again after the Pain arc to see where did he had his "change of heart" from NS to NH. Nothing!
Then I thought " what about if I calculate the number of chapters from 2 years?" So if its a chapter per week, that makes 4 chapters per month, meaning in 1 year its 48 chapters. But if it's 2 years its 96 episodes. But we have 1 month waiting from 700 to the "The Last", that makes 92 chapters. That will leave us on chapter 608. But I tried to search around 590 to 610 to find anything. First noticed Hinata, while running to the Battlefield she said she wouldn't run after Naruto anymore that instead she wanted to be by his side and hold his hand. Then on 594 Obito tells to Naruto the truth of Infinite Tsukuyomi

Then magically after 609 Hinata has her wish come true.

If they are going to do an alternate ending or changing the ending entirely, it won't be for us. It will be for themselves.

I don't want an ending made for me though. If it makes sense I'll be impressed but at this point i think the ending we wanted seems unlikely. but there's still fanfiction and headcanon. its not about me getting what i want either

i hope this theory's true. imagine how cool it would be if kishi, or anyone was THIS creative.naruto would probabbly go down in history! become a manga/anime legend!

Gosh to me it looks like you guys gang up on him

 

We are old generation, we've been following naruto long ago. If you done that doesn't mean everyone in the world should do the same, there is always new people who just began watching/reading naruto and 'MAYBE' kate is one of them. People who just starting reading naruto will discuss the thing that WE discuss Long ago, like maybe about sakura confession, about kushina dying wish or part one naruto.

 

If you understand what i mean, for example its like a teacher, when you done teaching and your student graduate, and you think its over ... NO its not, next generation of student will come and you will have to teach them all over again. You teach your student how to swim, and after your student graduate, a new student come and ask you to teach him how to swim, and you said 'Why is everyone bringing up old stuff into the debate?'

 

So if you saying why everyone bringing kishi into the debate, or maybe why people still discussing genjutsu or some other old stuff. Maybe they just recently jump in, they are excited while we on the other hand done and don't want to discuss old stuff again. We discuss about IT possibility long ago and now we are done about that, now there a new guy/gal just join the forum, recently starting to read naruto and like NS and want to discuss about IT possibility and you guys spam him with

Somehow reminds me of Iron Man 3 movie, when Tony Stark said 'I had just created a demon and i didn't even know it, you start with something pure, something exciting, we create our own demon'

 

There will always new NS fan that come here, and they will discuss old topic like this, what you guys gonna do? ignore them? tell them 'Why are people bringing old stuff into the debate? tell them to go away?

You quite miss my point. I was pointing to the the current NS fans that wants Kishi to do something for them. Harsh news. That ain't going to happen and no IT will happen because of Shuiesha hate on Sakura and Kishi's foolishness. NS shippers still want to believe that NS can happen. It's very unlikely but not impossible because SP now hold the torch of the franchise in their hand. There's one thing about anime adaption, it does not necessary follows the original. It has already happen more than once in the Naruto anime. Bottom line is that you guys want a possible NS ending, you'll have to roll the dice with SP's version because surely I and many other members he don't give a kitten about rather if NS happens or not.

Woah i'm speechless ... you mean they are all already in IT when neji died or when Naruto hold Hinata hands?  I never thought about it, you really are very smart. I have a lot of questions now and since i think we are the only people here who believe such a thing and miracles, i think its best if we discuss this in private message, anyone else who read this just going to think we are in denial, or anoying, how about it??

Like those still holding out hope for some kind of NS turnaround in the future? Or those who feel that the ending is just a genjutsu? Or those who think that there might be a future for NS if the series is rebooted? 

 

Basically, a thread where true believers can talk about hopes and theories, protected from criticisms (unless specifically requested). Like Chatte's theory thread of yore. 

 

I just thought that we have lots of threads where we all express our disappointment or disgust, but nothing that serves as a safe haven for those who are still hoping for an NS ending. And if we don't have a thread here on H&E, where else would you go to talk about such magical creatures as the unicorn that is an NS ending?! 

 

So is there interest in a thread like this? Are there enough true believers still around? 

 

(I'm fine with it, because as a fanfic writer...NS is still a reality. I can't give in to too much negativity, cause then I couldn't finish writing. So personally I'd welcome some more positive NS vibes in the fandom! So even if you're not a true believer, an NS-positive thread might help out other writers too.)
