Got to like the fact that the interview like that one was done Mano y Mano. Imagine doing that in public. Public interview was too preserved.

My problem is that he had the impression of "Oh yeah, she does like him first" rather than "So I will have her with him by starting off being the first of them all." The way he said it is like "Oh I didn't know I write that." Basically, he just went with the just because reason rather than actual reason.

Many stories have the love interest connects and understands the protagonist because they are meant to be. In Naruto, Sakura did the work for Hinata so she don't have to.

I just want to point out that what she did is true. Eventhought she did it in the shadow. I agree with redrose, that all of that mean jackkitten if she doesn't help him when she know that he need companion the most.

Oh and the reason why Hinata can do that, because she has a good eyes(byakugan). I mean look at neji, turn out he's always right

Lucky Kishi was not living in America. His wife would have threatened him with a divorce for him to redo the ending and apologize to the fans. Not because of the pairing but the hideous message he gave to his audience.

Plenty of divorces happen for many stupid reasons in the U.S. Especially, the ex-wife gets compensation from the ex-husband.

At most cases, the heroine/love interest get to understand or get more depth outlook of the hero because if they're going to get together, that person should know parts of him and/or experience it. Like one would know the protagonist's dark past, or one would know the protagonist's struggle/darkness, and so on. It's a way for us to care for them or at least understand why that one person sticks out than others.

So in Naruto, Sakura gets on-screen reaction of Naruto being Kyuubi, turning into one, sees Naruto in his weakest state, feelings for Sasuke, and struggles to the end. You would think she is fit, right? Nope, Hinata just had to wait for the ending so she can tag in and get Naruto without all of that. Because of that, I didn't care anything about NH. Not one bit.

Yeah. It's such a superficial way to look at human relationships and romantic love. It's not enough to simply do something. You also have to do it well.  

 

He's not wrong when he said that Hinata is the first to support and acknowledge him even before iruka. But all she all of that she do in the shadow.

Oh and for someone who always watch and support naruto, it seem like she always in the dark about naruto feeling to sakura and the importance of sasuke.

True. For someone's who supposed to know Naruto oh so well, she sure seems oblivious to his feelings and needs.

 

 

Well I'm an author myself. I have been criticized about how bad a writer i'm am because i have terrible grammar even worse than a kindergarten. What is worse. An author having slopping writing with good story telling, characters and no misleads. Or an author that does not even know his own story, the things that come out of his mouth,  being disrespectful towards his fans and lies straight through his teeth? 

I'd say the latter is worse. Bad grammar might make a good story a little hard to read, plus it can be fixed. Bad storytelling is just bad storytelling and nothing can change that, not even good grammar.

I was not specifically talking about Sakura. It's Kishi's message to his audience. You know like women cannot move on from their first love interest because it will make them terrible. The misleading. So and so. It must be disturbing for a woman to be married to a sexist that abhors women.

From pain arc to chapter 700 thats a lot of time there, if he really is planning to make NH cannon why not insert some hint or developing them? Instead we got Kushina dying wish, sakura [Fake] confession, naruto telling his edo tensei dad sakura is his GF, the CPR scene, the chidori of the heart 

 

Really try to imagine yourself as Naruto, you have been suffer from a long time, and you are alone and there this girl who likes and acknowledge you but choose not to approach you and suddenly when you about to die she come and confess her love to you? my answer is :' WHERE THE kitten ARE YOU WHEN I NEED YOU THE MOST WHEN I WAS A CHILD? It`s been a year since the manga ended and he STILL doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut.  Though I guess since he is done with the series for know he might not care anymore

I have a question. Kishi claims that he never knew the storm he caused overseas, which means he never knew about the shipping wars overseas too. Would it have made a big difference if Kishi had traveled with Junko to NY back in 2011? Or will we still have this same kitten ending?

Same here. I always thought they pro-Hinata and NH. But still they boosted Hinata's popularity into the stratospere. If they felt the way they did they should have dedicated some episodes to Sakura.

 

I'm actually not sure I buy the SP wanted NS claim. Too much Hinata focused filler. And then of course there is The Last.

I'm not to sure about that, the mecha naruto special 2 part filler was major ns, and it happened before the ending happened, like right before, on the other hand though they were probably just wanting to troll us because the last naruto the movie was in development and we all know the ending was made that way so the crappy movie could tie into it, I mean those fillers couldn't possibly have been planned way before unless they made the filler long before they made ultimate ninja storm revolution...

Although SP focus more on Hinata, there quite a lot of NS fillers, so I highly doubt its a troll, especailly these latest episodes that are focusing on SK and somewhat NS. It's stunning that people wouldn't believe that there are supporters for NS. Look who's laughing now. It also goes to show you that tsundere is acceptable in Japan and if you don't like it, well, too bad.

you know what's also funny? people make excuses how they hate sakura like for example that  sakura isn't a tsundere because she seems to just have the tsun part and not the dere dere part because its hidden  yet they love nami just fine and she's THE EXACT SAME WAY, JUST WITHOUT THE FANGIRLISM   and instead has a love for money, and yet the majority of one piece fans ship luffyxnami and not luffyxhancock, and narusaku is the same thing as luffyxnami. that's double standards right there....

well I mean if the movie was in development for 2 years and already planned, then the ending was planned that long ago too, unless....what if the version of naruto the last we got was a last minute one made for all those fans spouting crap about naruto and hinata on the feedback pages and around the time kishimoto wrote this "ending"? what if the last really was a ns movie and then they changed it last minute over the months we got those supposed ns hints and stuff and that filler and the game were made around that time too and they threw the true love thing in the game for naruto and hinata and then just posted that filler unchanged like noone would care? I mean its probably easier to make an animated movie than to make one of those live action movies in hollywood I guess? idk...

This is actually the first kishi interview that ive read thru the end. He is obviously confused and is high on something LOL
