Lol, I watched the Drama series to Death note (watching the anime and reading the manga right now) and I gotta say that they did a good job!! Who does he play??

i haven't watched the new drama series of death note, the anime and manga is enough for me.

 

If you are asking about Kento Yamazaki, he plays as L in the new death note tv series

in LDK, Heroine Shikaku, another, ANother (horror anime) etc he plays the lead male role.

 

i guess he pretty much charms a lot of the female audience.

He seems more suitable to geeky roles, that's just me tho...

 

Out of topic but i heard the new death note changes some big stuffs like, Light is suppose to be an average guy.. like what the... heard negative reviews about the 1st episode because of the changes but the cast got positive reviews

mm.. i'm quite exposed to the horror genre so my opinion of scary might be different to you.

A lot of people do like Another, but i just find it so-so. Its more of a creepy gore type.. but that's probably because most scare tactics don't work on me anymore. i can't say my opinion is reliable in your case tho..

 

for live-actions j-movies etc.. some of them if popular enough are aired in our local television and is premiered on big theaters. That's where i usually get to watched them but sometimes i rewatched on the following sites:

lol horror is one of my fave genre ... how about you? Ghost Hunt and Shiki are some of my faves on that genre

 

as for live-actions.. if you really want to venture on that side well maybe

Rurouni Kenshin.. the best live action so far. I watched it on the big screen and everyone seems to love it. the crowd was crazy that time lol.

then the others hm...i wouldn't really say they are great but decent for someone who wants to give live-actions a chance.

perhaps...Kimi ni Todoke, Koizora, I Give My First Love to You, and maybe the Detective Conan movie and tv series (Junpei Mizobata version..Shun Oguri looked too old and derailed from Shinichi's real personality)

 

well i guess those are a few that didn't really made me cringe ...well that much lol.

I mean we all know what happened in the manga and anime... whats the point of doing the exact same thing? if you watched it with an open mind without nit picking too much about what you already know about the story then you might enjoy it.. you can always watch the anime or read the manga if you prefer the original story. I guess they use a more "relate-able" approach. As the original Light is too out of this world lol

Wow I've got no words to say about the latest chapter like... Damn!! two chapters left I'm curious as to how this will all conclude. 

Yes, I agree ! It makes you wonder if two chapters will be enough to solve the matter ! (just like when we knew that the last chapter of Naruto was going to end in 22 pages ! Like ...How can someone end such a long series in one short chapter ! )

But this time, I have the feeling that it's going to end well ! And I have the feeling that Naho will end up with Kakeru

So there's a topic for this manga, nice~ 

 

I followed this one since chapter one first came out, and I really liked it, but now I have mixed up feelings about this story. It's mostly because while I truly hope the gang will save Kakeru I don't like it how much Kakeru-centered they all are (to the point of giving up their own happiness). I really hate these "noble" sacrifices (a trope many mangas love so much), especially when they're really unnecessary. 

 

Anyway, I'm not as excited as I used to be about this manga, so only reading it because I'm curious how it will end. But overall it's a good read.

well i guess it will be fine to watch the live actions without the anime but the experience might be a lil different from say people who watched and became fan of the anime. Its a good adaptation but of course the anime will still be the best bet. Story-wise you can pretty much understand it. There are 3 movies btw.

Idk but we always get to watch live actions or simply anime movies in local theatres. The main cast was even present here during the premier of the rurouni kenshin movie.
Since last month ive been seeing posters of attack on titan coming soon. Japan movies or series are pretty much available here but hardly on manga. Even naruto movies were shown in local movie theaters.

And yes. That kento boy is charming. Hope he does justice to our kakeru. He seem to have a lot of sponsors esp in the death note series lol the shoes and the drink hopefully it wont hinder his acting.

I watched upto episode 2 of the new Death Note, and its actually good...if you try to be open-minded that is. because the story IS CHANGED. from Light's personality and family to Rey Penbar... This isn't spectacular or anything great but its good.. and yeah Ryuk doesn't look like a sore thumb and blends well with the scenes.

the most recent one that i watched is Bitter Blood, its a comedy-action, detective show with a pinch of romance and some father-son bonds. The MC is Sato Takeru the one who played as Kenshin Himura on the the Rurouni Kenshin movies.

 

or some love comedy, Last Cinderella. The MC guy is the one who will play as Eren in the upcoming AoT movie. Its been awhile since i watched this so i don't remember much.

Holy kitten Light using a dictionary?! The hell! I thought he was clever, lol.. I'm not at Misa's debut at the anime yet, I'll try to catch up on the anime soon. Wait.. Misa is a singer?

Did they need to change the buss ride! It was a moment I really liked.. It got me understanding Light's character more.. Ray was a character I pretty much liked his Fiance too T_T

 

Asian Dramas is OK for me, but sometimes I can't watch more then the first episode... I'm pretty much only to American series.
