Off topic, but is Fate/Stay Night a continuation of Fate Zero or is it a remake like FMA: Brotherhood?

 

I've heard a lot about it, so i'm just curious that's all.  

Fate/Stay Night

You have to know this about Fate/ Stay Night: It is one of the most succesful visual novels out there in Japan and came out in 2004. The visual novels contains three routes, each one of them being dedicated to one of the three main girls. We've got:

1. Fate Route based on Saber.

2. Unlimited Bladeswork Route based on Rin Tohsaka

3. Heaven's Feel Route based on Sakura Matou

 

In the year 2006 Studio Deen released the anime based on the Fate Route. The animation was complete kitten, but it still adapted my personal favorite route, so it is something special to me.

This year, ufotable decided to release the adaptation to the Unlimited Blade Works route, so it's technically not a readaptation- although Studio Deen did release a movie 2010 based on this route. It didn't get good reviews though.

Fate/Zero is is a prequel to Fate/ Stay Night that was released after the visual novel to Fate/ Stay Night. It did get adapted into an anime earlier though (2011). I can't tell you where to start. People say watch Fate/ Zero first, and then the others say, no, what UBW first. It's up to you to decide what to watch first. I'm a person who likes to watch things in chronological order, so I picked up Fate/ Zero first.

Oh, one last thing: When it comes to shipping, just know that Shirou, the redhaired guy, will fall in love with the girl depending on the route. Basically, UBW will be the arc in which Shirou falls in love with Rin. Better for you to know beforehand, just saying.

It's basically both :o FSN came out first as a visual novel (erotic but later had censored versions) with 3 routes for 3 different heroines, it had an adaptation with the Fate Route and a movie that's a different route known as Unlimited blade works and now it's having a remake kinda like FMAB and having a movie of the darkest route known as Heaven's Feel. Fate Hollow Ataraxia is the direct sequel to FSN which has a been ported to ps vita last month, both came out before Fate Zero. Fate Zero is the prequel but it's the kind that assumes you know something about FSN, so it is basically a spoiler to watch it without watching FSN first, but you could still see it if you like :o Actually if you saw the first season of Unlimited Blade Works already, you can start on Fate Zero, unless you wanna wait til Heaven's Feel since each route reveals something different of Fate Zero, so Fate Zero is basically just to let you what exactly happen during the war I know alot of Fate

Ohhh you are gonna love the story, I suggest go wiki after watching FSN if you wanna know more since it has backstories that aren't mentioned in FSN for some characters

If you are on the computer, follow these steps:

1. Scroll up and click at the button that says "Follow this thread". You can decide if you want to follow this thread anonymously (why would you?, this is Noragami, lol) and decide how to do the notifications.

2. Click on your username and go to "Follow".

3. Now, you'll see all the threads that you have decided to follow. If you haven't seen the posts of a certain thread yet, you will see a black start/circle next to it.

 

If you are on your phone, follow these steps:
1. Got to a thread you like.

2. Quote something (doesn't matter what it is).

3. You'll see that under that whole quote block, there is the question if you want to follow the thread. Press on it.

 

If you follow a lot of threads like I do, this will help you to have a good overview of all the unchecked threads ;)

This is so weird... I just found out that Yukine's voice actor is Yuki Kaji, who also voiced:

1) Eren Jaeger from AoT (the kitten?!)- so that means that two voice cast actors from AoT were involved in Noragami (the other being Levi's voice actor who voiced Yato)- imao.

2) Kou Mabuchi from Ao Haru Ride/ Blue Spring Ride

3) Kozume Kenma from Haikyuu

4) Ayato Kirishima from Tokyo Ghoul

5) Meliodas from Nanatsu no Taizai/Seven Deadly Sins

My favorites are Jun Fukuyama, Mamoru Miyana, and Hiroshi Kamiya.

For some reason, female voices don't stand out for me... Well, there's actually Maaya Sakamoto, but I don't like her voice acting that much.
