I saw 3 color pages
1. About the movie where there was Naruto & Sasuke
2. It was page of kages & Hogoromo
most importantly...
3. I think Kishi ran short of space to display Sakura's horse...or else Kishi wouldn't have been seen
Other thing....Naruto is hero....so action has to be shown more than romance...right?
Last seen (685) Sasuke was holding ..her...so kishi thought it will be great to not let SS fans go off in this chap....

Oh that, well the movie will air on the 6th December. And given that it look like a time-skip movie, the serie will surely end before that. But the 17th October thing was fake though. But I never talked about Ocotber, since yesterday, I keep on saying it was fake. And you asked about October, not about what I said in chapter 685 thread. 

I see but just bc the movie will be aired in December that doesn't mean that Naruto will end before that to be honest that seems ridiculous to me even if its a time skip movie  imo  its best to wait for more information .

No it was true rumors, that's what the preview said "Naruto and Sasuke seal Kaguya?!" You wee it was more as a question. But Jump's previews are almost always false LOL

But how could Kishi make a time-skip movie without spoiling the end of his manga? If you see Sasuke in the village in the movie, you will know Naruto achieved to bring him back at the end of the manga, even though it's obvious to every fans that he will, it's still spoilling. And if you see Sasuke not being in the village you will know Naruto didn't make it at the end of the manga, and the end of the manga (bringing Sasuke back) will be done in the movie before the manga itself is ended.

I agree with your thoughts on Obito. I generally didn't like how Naruto would redeem some of its more unlikable villains, but I actually believe Obito's redemption was probably one of the better done redemption stories that the series has recently showcased. If only they could do the same for Sasuke now...
 
Also, I do like your interpretation of Rin's role in helping Kakashi. Intentional or not, it does add some ironic poetry to Rin's past role in Team Minato and her spiritual goal in this chapter.

Redemption seems to be a core ideal of the manga. We may not like it, but it's there and it has a strong emphasis. At least there's still some villains who stuck by their convictions until they died. For me, Kisame and Kimimaro remain as being two of the most commendable and badass villains there are.

I completely agree with you! Which is why I am starting to think, or hope, that it is an AU.

Yeah, but my point is that it wasn't followed up in the next chapter. It was mostly ignored, and it has never been brought up again.

 

Like I said the CPR was not the NS moment in that chapter, it was her dedication to Naruto which has been been touch upon as recently as last chapter.

I actually really liked the chapter. I was happy with the Edo Hokages and Hagoromo making their appearance and with Naruto's comments to Sasuke- as if he was his mother scolding him, which makes sense I guess for the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight anyways. I also liked Kakashi's comment on Naruto being weirdly smart, I always thought so too, and how even during a fight Naruto thanked Sakura and Obito. 

 

When Kakashi was having his inner thoughts, I was honestly scared and freaking out (I love Kakashi!) that something might happen to him, considering where his thought process was join, but I also thought that no, Team 7 also includes Kakashi for them to be happy all together again. I might have possibly teared up when I saw what Obito did, so moving and emotional.

 

Overall, I really enjoyed this chapter. I thought that it was very good, especially with all of the different feelings that I felt, whether they were good or bad, I still consider this to be a great chapter!

Looks like the Hokages will help out with the sealing. Hopefully they can get it done quickly - however, does anyone think there's going to be some sort of resolution with Kaguya? After all, I would think that'd it be awfully strange to see her emotions towards both Naruto and Sasuke and then have her be sealed without another word.

Well ya, Sakura did say that she can still hope for Team 7 to be together again and Team 7 also included Kakashi. Right? Or am I wrong? Because I always thought that Kakashi was a member of Team 7.

I gotta admit, for a moment I really thought Kakashi was going to die. I liked how Obito sacrificed himself and that it served as a call back to how he did so in the Gaiden. I guess this symbolizes Obito's complete return to the boy he used to be.

 

It was kinda funny how Naruto asked Sasuke if he thanked Sakura and Obito, like it was a parent talking to his kid.

 

 

The cover in itself is pretty cool. The setting and the art is nice, but I just can't get over the constant reminder of Sakura's feelings for Sasuke by making her unnecessarily blush. And it all makes even less sense after Kakashi's words in 675.

 

Why Kishi feels the need to show Sakura liking Sasuke this late in the story (even if it's just a random cover) is beyond me.

Since it was an AU, I totally imagined it to be a different universe. This cover doesn't connect with the canon story and developments so I didn't get your feeling. Maybe it's just me.

Also, does blush indicate that you're in love? When I was a teenager I used to blush when talking with an attractive person. I don't think I was in love with all of them.

The chapter was pretty good, Got a little worried for a second, but it paid off somewhat. I loved the small Team Minato Panel in this chapter along with The Naruto vs Kaguya stuff, and The bit between Naruto and Sasuke about thanking Obito and Sakura.

Bc the movies aren't canon manga materials they are just an idea if Kishi says that the movie follows the manga then yes you would be right on this so for now just wait for more information about the movie we don't even know what it is about we don't know the story behind it for all we know it can be about a different universe so till then Its best to wait .

Perhaps but I think its unlikely that the main and last fight of the manga would be done in a movie but who knows .

Maybe it's a time skip movie where Naruto goes on an adventure with his kid? The issue of Sasuke and the kid's mother can easily be dismissed, and Kishi can still cast characters like Shikamaru, Shino, Kiba, Ino and Chouji without spoiling the future.
