USA is now 1-1-1. Let's hope the win increases only.Yeah I know. But still would have liked the draw or the win.

I think it's an achievement to exit a group constantly billed as the Group of Death.

There were three groups of death.I think it's an achievement to exit a group constantly billed as the Group of Death.
(England, Italy, Costa Rica, Uruguay) - (Netherlands, Spain, Chile, Australia) - (Germany - USA - Ghana - Portugal).
I wish i could know why people on the U.S hates soccer/football.

Well, Colombia beat Uruguay, going all the way to the quarterfinals.
Now Colombia will face Brazil, and to be honest...I think Colombia will win.

That Brazil vs Chile game was nuts, I thought Chile was going to pull the upset for a minute there. I really dug watching the Columbia vs Uruguay game, though. Both goals for Columbia were beautiful.

Brazil is soooo lucky. Congrats anyway lol.
To be fair Chile were the lucky ones since Brazil got damaged Hulk's goal was legit the referee screw them in here but that's football for you and as much as i hate technology being brought in football sometimes its needed for things like this .
Overall it was a good game though Brazil has problem with organizing their game in the middle they were cut of in here that is why we saw Alves for most of the time trying with long passes to create a chance for a goal but long trow away balls is not Brazil's style they have always played with the ball on the ground , they need a player who can organize the middle and connect it with the attack in order to create a chance and from what i have seen i can't say that they have anyone like that .
Chile , Columbia and Costa Rica are the biggest surprise in this cup its enjoyment to see them play the game its refreshing .

It was not goal, Hulk grabbed the ball wit his bisect and that is hand. The bad thing is that they want technology ans leave the human error be something important in the game.

I thought he received it with his shoulder not his bisect but looking at the goal now yeah you're right sorry my bad he indeed played with his bisect if it was with his shoulder then the goal would have been legit since its allowed to play with that part of your body . What also made me think that the goal was legit is that the sideline referee obstructed to Howard Web's decision either way good call by Web it just shows you why is he one of the best referees out there .
Yes agree about the technology thing if its brought than there would be no need of referees they would be only there for the purpose of showing cards and that changes the game completely , though i'm OK with the goal line thing i can't say that it's a bad thing there were to many screw ups with that one lets hope that they leave it at that and brought no more technology in football .

Here's a question that I've been thinking about with the successful World Cup ratings in the U.S., will the MLS be able to capitalize on those ratings? Will the futbol fever stay with Americans enough for MLS ratings to have a spike?
On the one hand there seems to be a lot more people interested in the sport now.
But on the other, Americans usually watch more sports that they normally wouldn't in large international competitions. Look at the Olympics for example, People watch swimming, track and other sports much more than they normally would.

A definite bummer for Mexico and their fans, but for me it's...
Except when the US is playing.
