I really don't get it. LOL

Well it did made me laugh hard LOL this just goes to show you that you shouldn't take what one person says as ultimate proof until you see it confirm it yourself for what it really is the power of the Internet LOL XD .

The anime team doesn't have much musical material since Shipuuden because Toshiro Masuda doesn't do the music anymore, and they keep using the same musics all over. I'm sorry, but Takanashi Yasuharu is a lot less talented than Toshiro, and he has done less material to work with on the anime IMO. I would love to see Toshiro work again on Naruto.

 

Yet, this music thing, this is not a proof of anything.

The underlined so freaking true that music is used for every sad scene but if its NH then it must be special god they are so dumb  .

Well, after seeing all your comments guys, I've come to watch it, and all I can say is... All this anguish towards that episode for nothing. I'm so relieved that they animated that episode that way. It was only 5 minutes in the whole episode, and it looks even less like pairing tease than in the manga. I'm happy that the focus was on Neji, where it should be and have to be. But NH fans don't get it, to them, it is "NH canonizing episode FTW!" They don't care about Neji if there is an interaction between Naruto and Hinata, I'm ashamed for them. If Kakashi had to die in order for us to have an interaction or a chakra transfer handholding between Naruto and Sakura, I wouldn't be happy, I would be sad that Kakashi dies, of course I would enjoy the pairing fanservice, and still it was purely friendship style in the anime, but it wouldn't take over the part of me that would be sad about Kakashi's death. 

And the worst, is that I'm sure all the NH fans who read the manga are so pissed at this episode because it looks purely platonic, while they were so sure it was NH CANON in the manga, but in relaity, they were thinking that because they must have been in front of their PC screen during at least 10 minutes for each page of the "NH moment"; so of course, seeing it lasting only 5 minutes in the anime must hurt them badly. But they don't even want to admit that it was not as they expected it. They are doing like everything was going as planned "yep, that was so romantic, nothing new, NH canon!". Sorry for bashing, I don't like hypocrisy. 

 

But aside from that, I loved the animation of Neji's death, so touching thoses reference to the free bird.

Using music from the anime as evidence that their pairing will be canon? My goodness desperation has reached critical levels. Also using the Mina/Kushi scene where they protect Naruto from Kurama is yet another failure argument so that NH gets a parallel. They really want NH to be parallel to Mina/Kushi, even when they claimed parallels don't mean nothing and not to be taken as canon evidence. Talk about double standard.

She's not a mere weakling so that she can't pull him out even if Naruto couldn't move even i don't degrade Hinata that much she's a freaking shinobi have you seen what they are able to do ?

 

Also the time wasn't so short like i said Hinata had the time to see were the rods were gonna hit she had the time to established that then she jumps in front of Naruto and just stood there were for the time she did that she could have pulled a simple move that doesn't require much effort to pull him of to the side and even Neji had the time to catch up to them the time was certainly not short for a simple move like that .

 

Hinata's father said that they are not able to deflect all of the rods with their jutsu that's what he meant not that they weren't able to escape from them there is difference , also like i said there are tons of ways that they could have done it but it was done like this just so Neji could die the scene was rather forced this is so obvious and it was for the Huyga subplot i'm sorry but i'm not gonna give credit to Hinata for this when it comes to Naruto she has a one trick mind and that is what's hurting her character .

-neji didnt confessed..im 90% certain that neji had romantic feelings for hinata but he chose to die without relieving this pain from his chest..so im kinda sad for that

-hinata didnt even grieved that hard for neji,i mean she cried for a few seconds,then when she looked angrily at madara and obito, neji colapsed from naruto's arms,she seemed to look like ''ouuh  neji i almost forgot you just died a few moments ago''..her tears completely vanished away..kishimoto could had at least draw her holding neji in her arms,hell nejinaru moment seemed a lot more emotional than the nejihina one

-hinata recieved a big chunk of character development,with her being able to give an emotional speech without stuttering and even touch naruto's face without faiting,but to me all that development went back to 0 simply because neji's corpse was at her feet,you can undoubtedly say neji died for her as well,you can also assume neji risked his life  because hinata was there but lets say this is an assumption,but all hinata does is fangirl about naruto's strong and manly hand..i didnt liked that,it didnt seem normal to me..in manga,even lee showed more emotion and regret than her

maybe thats why i  cannot like naruhina..i simply cannot stand seeing a female character being so depended and centered around a male character.,.i still wish though that sakura could pull a moment like hinata,and attempt to commit suicide for him,but given the fact she has this new power that kinda makes her immortal,i doubt i will see something like that

First how is attempting to commit suicide for someone is a sign of love that's utterly disgusting and i would never praise Sakura for doing that nor want her to do that that's a very bold statement to say that many of us would have enjoyed if Sakura was in her place hell no Hinata can keep this because this is not Sakura trowing her life pointlessly playing a meat shield  NO! Sakura would think of a solution how to save him without getting herself killed and would do anything in her power to do that like @Nostradamus said i'm glad that the Sakura saving Naruto moments aren't like that and i appreciate Sakura working doing everything in her power to Save Naruto this is so more beautiful to me then trowing your life pointlessly without thinking . All Hinata does is playing a meat shield instead thinking of another way that she could help like in the Pain arc it did more damage than good Kishi even put Sakura criticize her for doing that  how can i praise her for this ?

 

I will give her the speech thing even though it was forced but in the end even that didn't woke up Naruto it was actually Kurama .

 

I can literary describe her character in two sentences "playing a meat shield and Naruto kun " especially the Naruto kun she's so obsessed with him that she forgets about anything and everything(like you pointed it out she give Neji so little attention) and makes her do stupid things without thinking to me her character is a disaster and i would  put it at  Sasuke's level  mind you this has nothing to do with me being a NS fan but with how the character is written .

 

I'm sure you have your reasons to like her character and i'm not condemning you for that but to me it's an utter disaster no offense.

1 - I tend to agree with that statement. I mean in this entire storyline Neji was the only one to say that Hinata is cute. He was the only one that complimented her on her looks. However if Neji does have romantic feelings towards Hinata is really a mystery.

2 - That pissed me of as well, Neji's death was swept under the rug like it was nothing. I mean yeah he was a side character and therefore you cannot have an amazing death scene and all the characters reacting to it, and there's war going on. But the way it was done was really bad. His own family basically ignored Neji.

3 - Yes Hinata did received a big chunk of character development. But at what cost? Kishimoto needed to make Naruto look like a complete idiot, he was reduced to nothing more than a retard. The only thing that was missing from that chapter was the sound effect of "ummmmm" when Hinata slapped Naruto and he had his mouth opened. And in the end just like you pointed out all that character development Hinata got was just thrown out the window, when she said "Naruto's big and strong hand makes me feel safe" while Neji's cold dead body was at her feet. The guy chose to sacrifice his own life to save her and Naruto, and Hinata is more preoccupied with being Naruto's fangirl.

 

 

Anyway let's move to the episode. I really liked the fact that they animated Kurama's mouth when he talks. It annoys me because sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. And I want them to always animate his mouth when he talks.

I just saw the professional subbed version of the episode on french TV and Naruto said. "Thank you Hinata. I'm proud to have you (in the past tense) by my side."

What do you think of this translation? It doesn't really bother me, but I wonder if it is implying he's proud of having her at this moment or since the beginning, since it is at the past tense, i don't really know how to take it.

Well Hello I clearly said excluding Hinata since I don't disagree with people who bash her for what she did since I also have  problem with her behavior, and worst seeing her attitude towards Naruto big hand despite her cussing body is still laying on the ground.

The fact that I made it clear when I said excluding Hinata it was letting you know that I think highly of someone who is willing to give their life away for someone they love or care about or even a stranger is not a bad thing to me what MinaKushi did was admirable and what Neji did was admirable as well, what Hinata did was stu**d giving away your life away to save someone else is admirable but confessing with out helping the person and throwing your life just because you lost hope and don't want to lose the chance of making the  person of your admiration know how much you love him before he dies is is not admireble is st**p and selfish.
