The obvious sasuke betrayal but i think there is going to be some shock betrayals, maybe one of the k11???

With sakura's seal opening in the forehead area, I swear after this war naruto will just blurt out randomly how charming her forehead is. It would be a comical moment but it would be so great to have it there and I can totally see it happening.

Finally

Wow!! Finally some action!! So many things happening I don't even know where to begin...

 

So Katsuyo is a monstrously huuuge slug. Lol at that.

 

Obito is starting to redeem himself.. and Naruto and Sasuke combination attack coming out next chapter. Sweet.

 

Also it seems the flower is about to bloom. I feel like this war will end sooner than we all expected.

 

EDIT: Actually I think it's more like Obito's time as the main villain is about to end. I can see Madara switching places with him very soon. His redemption has been mentioned too many times already... and with Kakashi's last thoughts I believe it is not far from happening. Unfortunately this reduces the chances of a Rin/Sakura parallel confirmation. 

 

I can't say I'm too disappointed about that. I'm not a particular fan of the Rin/Sakura parallel being confirmed, I like it where it is, just implied.

 

I don't have a lot to say about the chapter, it was decent overall and I liked seeing Tsunade and Sakura working together, it's proof now that she is on equal footing with her master and likely only a matter of time before she surpasses her. I feel a bit misled my the chapter title though, I thought the Infinite Tsukuyomi was actually going to start.

No one has any thoughts or comments about the fusion concept with Katsuyu? In theory it seems like it would be a very powerful upgrade to have since you would have the strength of the entire slug species from Shikkotsurin at your disposal.

If the water is directly linked to Suigetsu then wouldn't that inadvertently poison Suigetsu as well?

Something is going to happen to everyone else after the next chapter. We know that Obito can control the tree to attack and if Obito finish off Naruto and Sasuke in the upcoming attack, then I can see him start annihilating them. Obito is going attack mode, so this won't be easy and Obito himself can turn the war once more. Plus, he can't really absorb them ASAP anymore, at least according to them. So yeah, pretty much, Naruto and Sasuke must hit with their biggest attack. I guess that's why it's happening now, something is coming. Kakashi yes but I mean the event that will happen.

After this, I can't wait for the next chapter.  This chapter showed Kakashi realizing Obito's struggles in himself.  As much as he says it doesn't matter anymore, he was shinobi of the Leaf and he had carried the will of fire.  He's subcionciously looking to Naruto for an answer.  I liked the combo summoning from Tsunade and Sakura.  Before, it was implied that Katsuya was the onlt resident in the Shikkotsu Forest.  With them only being able summon a tenth of her, I'm starting to believe it.  When Naruto stood back up in the end and said "I never go back on my word",  I had a nostagia moment.  When was the last time we heard that?  Post-Sasuke Retrieval Arc?  Now, Sasuke talks about a final attack, that may or may not go through.  Some elements are still unpredictable.  I'm not saying we're at the climax at least for Obito, but Obito doesn't seem to be opponent to have a final attacked announced and be defeated by it.  And there's also Madara and Kakashi to consider.  I asssumed to at least Kakashi witnessing and helping in Obito's defeat, and Madara still needs him to activate the Infinte Tsukiyomi.  Again, we got forshadow to Sasuke's betrayal, but we've already got plenty of those.  Anyway, I enjoyed the chaper, and leaves me wanting more, but will have to wait until next week.

One thing I wanna say... I love how logic just flies over the haters/antis. The constant comparison between Sakura and Tsunade is ridiculous.

1. She gets called a noob because she was struggling to save Shikamaru.

-lets completely disregard the fact that Shikamaru had been DRAINED of his chakra. Then there's the fact that Tsunade seemed to hsve finished him up after Naruto and Sakura so of course, who's to say how difficult it would of been for the likes of Tsunade. Its so ridiculous that these individuals choose to be extreem critical of her. She's grown a lot and she's proving her worth in this war. For someone to question Tsunades strength as a kage level individual just to knock Sakura baffles the hell out of me. Let's downplay anything Sakura related.

I still can't believe she has that technique. She's pretty much a damn tank now. I hope we see her go all put now. Here's to hoping!

I had a thought just now. We know that it's possible for frogs and snakes to fuse with humans. Granting them the ability to mould sage chakra even as they're fighting. The only animal from the animal trinity that we have yet to see do this is the slug or Katsuyu. Now given what we understand of the slugs and their ability to incorporate humans into their body, is it possible that a regular human could fuse with Katsuyu as she (technically "it" but I'm starting to prefer the gender pronouns) at 100% full size? We know that she can meld with people regardless of their height, but I'm curious to see if fusion with the entire slug wouldn't be possible. What would the effects be like for the human? 

 To be honest I Think summoning 100% might be impossible as well as fusing with the 100%. It can be possible katsuyu is indeed the  elder of the Shikuku(e.e) forest but cannot fully leave the forest so it distributes clones or parts of itself for summoning. As for fusing I think fusing with a smaller one would give you  a direct link to the 100% since the smaller ones are part of the 100% Katsuyu granting you all of katsuyu's abilities.

Well at least Sakura and Tsunade's jutsus works..for the most part.

 

Naruto and Sasuke's attacks have only been in vain, and they have seemingly found Obito's weakness. Every chapter, their attack fails and it ends with a set-up for a new attack.

 

I know most people prefer combat-style shinobis, but then say rather "They're not my cup of tea" than calling them useless.

Can you actually blame them? that chapter was rather terrible for Sakura, if I do say so myself. Instead of using the occasion to close the gap between her and Tsunade, Kishi widened it instead. It felt completely nonsensical from a story telling viewpoint.

Here's a thought. I think if the attack fails and the time he has a bit left, Obito will start killing the alliance as Naruto probably tries to stand up after the attack. I mean that slam that Obito did really knocked many back. That said if Naruto and Sasuke fail the attack and Kakashi doesn't come back in time, those alliance are about to get world of beating. If the tree can't absorb, then why not kill them. Oh God...

 

And then Naruto awakens a hidden power, that causes him to transform. Which would make what Kurama said to Sasuke 400 or so chapters back as epic foreshadowing.

I'm in a good mood! I can really see the end of the arc looming, it's really exciting! Tsunade! Sakura! Ino! I actually see it as a great opportunity for Kishi to show Sakura succeeding Tsunade. Especially now that Tsuna is here, witnessing how much Sakura has grown (bringing tears to my eyes  ). I can see the succession in the future of the manga. Power of the byakugou is mentioned to be related to the slugs in some way (I believe it is mentioned in 633, or the chapter where Orochimaru sees Tsuna split in half) Any chapter with Tobirama gets a passing grade   . I like this chapter better than the past two chapters, and the next chapter certainly is looking really bright. Onward to the conclusion!

 

I share many people's sentiments that Naruto and Sasuke's attack will not work since it's too early in the volume. I can't wait for Kakashi to be a part of the action once again. I can't wait for Yamato to burst out of the god tree's trunk and singlehandedly demolish the Moon Eye plan.

That's anorher thing.  What is this "attack form"?  the freshadow of another form proves this attack won't work.  As a shonen, we have to see all the abilities of the antagonist.  Freeza couldn't die until after we saw all four of his forms, making that fight, so incredibly drawn out.  Plus, I agree with what you said earlier that Naruto has to know Obito's story.  His empathy isn't specific to just his allies but his enemies to, especially if they were related in someway to another person he knows:  Jiraiya-Nagato, Kakashi-Obito.  That talk has to come in a way, for Obito's story arc to be close to complete.  With Sasuke, he really would care less, so if Kishimoto could somehow take him out of the picture for a while, I wouldn't mind.  I wonder if Obito will bring up Konan, and how he killed her.  Another conversation about Nagato, and in turn Konan is due to happen in my opinion, because Naruto really needs to know what happened to her.

I wonder if Obito will bring up Konan, and how he killed her.  Another conversation about Nagato, and in turn Konan is due to happen in my opinion, because Naruto really needs to know what happened to her. 

Oh yeah, Konan! But further talk of Konan would just make Naruto angrier. Rin is more plausible.
