Ok i didn't mean to take the conversation to far with stuff thats happening on the tumblr tag and hatred going on the ns blogs made me pretty cynical lately. so tsudere is tsudere and i forgot that tsunade also broke jiraiya's ribs once in the manga.

No, that will mean Sasuke gets even more advantage of the situation, which he shouldn't need as of now because of his character and development. At least with my idea, it will tell comically say "That's what you get for all of the crap you put on your team!" and as for the watermelon itself, (as I said before if the melon is next to Sasuke), at least it will provide a message saying "Well, at least it was a successful hit!" instead of "Better luck next time."

My complaint is the violence, the blood, and the reasoning.
I know i know it's tsundere and stuff but it's out of Naruto's pattern, and most important the situation too.

It's always Naruto who provoke Sakura to go tsundere mode, she never hit Naruto without being provoked before.

First time when he calls her his gf, Naruto got punched blood and stuff, okay.

The oiroke no jutsu.

When he called her a monster.

And for last the part where he calls her his girlfriend she hits him but not strong as she did before showing she became more gentle.

On this Naruto didnt do anything wrong at all, to stop Naruto she suddenly she hit him that much.

I know it's Japan, stuff and Tsundere, but srsly where's the comical on this panel?

 

I cant even see the reason why she hit him.

It's abusive and ridiculous and only served to make her look bad and a fangirl, yeah a fangirl.

 

 

Tsundere moments, the girl went to wake up the guy then suddenly he see her panties then she punchs him and he goes thought the whole planet and ends up in another galaxy.

Another one, Jiraiya was peeping Tsunade, he almost died, it was funny yes it was, but there was a reason Jiraiya was peeping Tsunade adn she almost killed him.[comic relife]

 

That's not the case here, Naruto was totally innocent and was doing nothing wrong, then she goes and do this.

Srsly that's not funny sorry.

despite the picture its sad people made a big deal over it pairing wise just because Naruto made a mistake, was going too fast and Sakura had to stop him by hiting him, (he most likely didn't listen but yeah pictures like that are just humor wish people would get that by now).

It begs the question how far Kishi's "violence" goes that will become "funny"? I guess so long you got one comedic atmosphere, all are dismissed.

yeah i didn't know that tsunade hit jiraiya so hard it left a scar and a broken ribs so yeah that can be comical.

Exactly :/ why are things taken so seriously? I personally enjoyed it...

The japanese comments werent even complaining! They were just saying stuff like ooh team 7's back wow! And haha team 7 future maybe, some were talking about sasukes chest how it looks good lol..yeah funny...I was thinking the same and naruto too haha.

Eh, okay I'll share my thoughts with this too. Did I think it was funny? No. Is it meant to be funny? Indeed, but this begs the question, Why is it funny? No I'm not asking this cause of the western Fandom but as a supporter of feminism and anti-misandry. Do any of you realize the double standard here? If a man hits a woman in media he's a jack a**, but if a woman hits a man it's supposed to be laughed off? Does anyone understand the psychological acceptance of that? That men who are beat up by women and women who beat up men are not supposed to be taken seriously. That a man who is beat up by a girl is no real man and a woman can never have the power to harm a man in a serious situation. When we keep brushing off this double standard of domestic violence every single time as comedy, we approve of the notion that Women are not empowered or even supposed to be able to have power, plus Men are supposed top be able handle women because they are supposed to be "stronger" or they are not worth anything.  

 

What sets this apart is that Naruto is actually bleeding and did not do anything wrong except to try hit a watermelon. Don't you think Sakura could have had a gentler intervention, anything at all like steer him clear of Sasuke's head or something other than Smashing his face to the ground and cause bleeding? Now I know that I may be taking this too seriously and that Men do have the occasional slapstick with women as well but the point is have we really become so apathetic to Naruto if he is genuinely hurt by his own sort of, maybe girlfriend? I'm not meaning to kill off the moment But I want everyone to understand this. Not all women using violence against men is supposed to be funny, and we all must hold a standard whether or not something like this must be taken seriously, else we are encouraging our girls to be violent on the opposite sex and are destroying our Boys' self esteem. That does no one good.

 

In conclusion I feel what sets apart comedy from plain violence is the situation of the moment and the extent of the the harm done by violence. if a woman hits a man or vice versa with no visible harm or no feelings were hurt and the victim is walking about and joining in conversation, plus the fact that we think the victim deserves it more or less, then it is comedy. Else we should not say every female on male abuse scenario is just for  S***s and giggles
