I appreciate Hinata alright. I appreciate the talent in takes for a side character to kill a 15 year manga. That's no ordinary feat. Even Scrappy Doo was never that powerful.

Sakura started it by going to Sasuke. Naruto had to find love somewhere....

I blame Kishimoto, not the characters. It's his fault that everyone is so OOC in 699/700 and the movie, so I don't think it's fair to blame Sakura or Hinata in reality but I do see your point.

The only reason why Sakura went to Sasuke was because Kishi felt pity for poor Hinata princess hime sama, Sakura then wasn't allowed to move on from Sasuke and Naruto had to drop his romantic feelings so Hinata can get her sex toy

Nah, if I ever were to eat another human it would be kishi, alive/raw/uncooked but without skin and plenty of salt.

 

The Hinata in the movie sounds bashworthy though.

Whether we like it or not, Hinata will forever be remembered as the character that destroyed the Naruto series.

You can't blame Hinata more than Sakura. Hinata was always respectful enough to let NaruSaku happen. In the end, Kishimoto made Sakura get with Sasuke for no good reason at all. His reasoning behind SasuSaku so far has been nothing but sexiest to females when he speaks out about it. The reasoning for NaruHina at least makes some sense. Naruto lost Sakura and so he moved on. He saw Hinata who was a beautiful and very willful girl who cared a whole lot about him. He fell for her. Would that happen if Sakura was still in any way available? No, he would ask her on 1,000,000 more dates if he had to. Anything for her heart, but Sakura had to get with Sasuke because women have to love people who make them fell bad... forever! That's what Kishimoto taught me apparently...

I will be honest, i liked her character ....in part 1
her character in part 2 was a waste, she had such nice angles to develop...her clan, her relationship with neji, with her teammates ...instead all we got was the typical naruto-kunning

In the end Hinata to me will be just a character who had potential but in the end was only a pairing fodder (just like sakura, unfortunately)

Disbelief? Hinata was smiling in happiness when Sakura hugged Naruto.

Even though I resent how much importance is placed on Hinata's feelings--even above the main character's--I still can't really blame her. It was Naruto's and Sakura's faults for NS not happening--Naruto for never having the courage to confess and Sakura for still loving Sasuke.
Of course it's dumb to blame fictional characters without the awareness of who's controlling them. The real fault is Kishimoto's.

Not really. Her reaction to the NaruSaku hug is different from Naruto's reaction to Sakura hugging Sasuke. If Hinata was really shocked her smile would've been sadder.
I genuinely believe that Hinata was happy for Naruto and Sakura and she was capable of moving on. It was Kishimoto and SP who wanted her stuck on Naruto even though he already had Sakura.
