Sounds like a perfect ending now does it?

I agree with Tricksie though. This doesn't mean anything when it comes to couples, but given how Kishi has and will probably handle things, I wouldn't be too surprised at certain actions. Consistency really has died off with Kishimoto.

well the thing i learn from this manga is no one feeling change off panel, not sakura, ino, karin, and naruto. even obito still a virgin until now.

You know, I sometimes wonder.... With all this background information being thrown at the readers soooo late in the story, I wonder if Kishimoto isn't laying the groundwork for stories to come along after the series has ended? Maybe some special editions focusing on Minato/Kushina's generation, and then one on Hashirama/Madara's generation.
I mean, I know it's good to always have fresh content and characters, especially for a weekly publication, but we are constantly being shown flashbacks and being introduced to characters who are dead and/or have no bearing on the future of Naruto's immediate story. While it's interesting, I keep wondering why Kishimoto is still building out the background, while we are trying to decide if this is the last arc or not.

I'm not sure why he would do that. To give a reason for a catfight?

I just dropped the manga as of now....if i hear that the story got much worse then it already is. Well then i'll just move on to a much more better series.

That would be interesting. But I would prefer to see a NS follow up manga.
@Heaven on earth thank you for making my point. Karin was maybe TOO forgiving. She could be planning something. Orochimaru is DEFINETLY planning something. I have faith in Kishi. I think theres more to this than meets the eye.

Kishimoto has said in an interview that he has ideas for a Minato-centric story.
I'm personally not a big fan of that idea. It just seems to me like Minato has his life cut out too easily for him. =\

I liked this chapter someway... I already knew that Sasuke would take the good side but this's really rushed. Well, this chapter concludes the volume 65, I wonder if it's because of that...

How fangirling to an guy that nearly killed her with no mercy whatsoever can be called dignity? If you ask me, she lost all her dignity on this chapter.

This. It's pathetic, and unattractive to her character. I don't like how Kishi portrays his females characters sometimes, and this is DEFINITELY one of those times. He's truly a sexist mangaka.

I think she meant Sakura had more dignity than Karin? It looks like a typo.
I hope that Karin does get a bigger role in the story other than fangirl who occasionally gets stabbed.

well, for years sakura bashers said that Karin has more dignity because she said that she was done with him after that fact... And of course, everyone praised her while I ever thought that she still loves him they judged me as crazy LOL

Deal with this, sakura haters!

Didn't karin had a emotional development in the confession arc she and sakura shared the same sadness to. But seeing her fangirling about sasuke after all that was just horrible.....
