Wait, you mean I'll be able to use an plus account I made on my PS4 on my PS3 as well? And what kind of game I can get for free each month? A full game or those downloadable games such as journey?
Both. Playstation Plus offers a mix of full retail games, downloadable PSN titles and steep discounters. This is for both systems currently out right now - the PS3 and PS Vita - and will include the PS4. They usually do five new titles a month and rotate out old ones to compensate, but once a title is in your download list you can download it again at any time, meaning you don't NEED to have it on your hard drive.
The only thing to note is that you only have access to the free stuff while you're subscribed. If the subscription lapses, you're locked out until you sign up again. This does not carry over to discounts though; once you buy it, even if it was like two bucks in a super crazy sale, it's yours even if PS+ lapses.
Like I said, best value in console gaming. Everyone should have it anyway.

looks like sony won the console war, haha me and my family have been ps gamers since the beginning of the ps generation.
sony was soooooo burying the competition! And in the e3 that happened last week, near the end when that guy at the end of the e3 was talking about games on ps3, hahs awesome!!!
