Yeah, I get the point. There are hypocrites in all fandoms, as sad as it is. The amount of them just differs sometimes.

The way I see it is that stupid fanservice is stupid fanservice, no matter what character it goes to. Sakura, Hinata, whoever. Stupid fanservice is stupid fanservice.

Now, there is smart fanservice. For something to qualify as that, though, it needs to be in line with what's canon. But Sakura allegedly beating Edo Jounins with no problem? Hinata having healing powers? Kabuto having FAAAABULOUS hair? (seriously though, what up with his hairdo for this filler arc? does Pierrot have a fetish for Tahno-hair!Kabuto? ) To me, that's just completely dumb.

"NH FANSERVICE OMG" it wasn't. it was plain hinata being hinata. Lack of NS moments...... T_T After Naruto is asked why he wanted to become powerful, the images flash and we see iruka then sakura then kakashi. If we were to make the argument that everything that is done is done for a reason, then you could say that Naruto views in order of importance, iruka, then sakura, and regarding the point about minato appearing once again, it could have just been just a flashback that once again strengthens Naruto's resolve.

Hmmm Hinata learnt medical ninjutsu? Welp don't wanna watch that arc anymore. Hmmmm, Naruto says he always will love sakura? Welp, dont wanna watch that arc anymore.

And since when have we brought up Naruto saying he will always love Sakura as canon? We enjoy those moments but never think that it helps our cause or improves NS cause it doesn't as a filler. We are not copying NH because we don't bash the character, we bash how Pierrot is portraying said character. IS Hinata healing anyone at the moment in the manga? As far as the pages tell us, no. So I am only annoyed at why Pierrot would whip this in the pot for no reason besides just having her there just for the heck of it cause she would not be within twenty feet of that medical camp if she did not heal. Medical Ninjutsu would throw all meaning of being a Hyuuga out the window because they use chakra to fight up close which are two things a Medical ninja almost NEVER do.

After seeing the episode, it's still holds my interest, thanks to the original characters (OCs). I never thought I would say that in Naruto but there you have it. Ok. the beginning was fun to watch, especially Rock Lee and Gai having their shining moment. It's like how in movies always bring them up for the sake of fans and shining moments. It was fun. I did like the demonstration of the Kyuubi beating down and the blast attack that actually reach to the point where Yamato and Sai were at, which that's pretty deep. Sadly, the action didn't last long, so I guess it was there for fanservice, which is ok. I do believe it could be a bit overkill with all K11 and senseis, so it would be hard to focus. Hopefully, OCs don't take a backseat because of fanservice for these guys.

Now then, why would I actually care about the OCs? For once, I actually find Dokku and Shiseru appealing because they really do portrayed the life in the ninja world as normal beings. Usually, you just get weak gennin or normal ninja as OC, but this time, they are just human and Dokku tried so hard to work things out, but sadly, it's been against him. I really like the interaction between Dokku and Shiseru because of the kids starting a family and the fact that they are really beyond friendship to the point they are ready to start a new chapter in their life. Sadly, Dokku still regrets everything in the past and Shiseru would be fine with being brother-sister relationship, even though they seem ready for love. I can't believe I am saying this, but please, don't rush the ending for this one. I like how they still have Naruto and Sakura talking to them since they know them enough to understand.

Overall, this episode is more of a buildup to the climax, which will start next week. That said I really hope there is a good conclusion to these OCs because I do hope Dokku can finally move on and start a new chapter with Shiseru and the kids. It was a good buildup episode. I hope that the situation doesn't get out of hand and cause the studio to forget about the story. It was going well and so far, it's intact. I hope they know that, but we'll see. Next post will be my thoughts on the situation that you guys were discussing.

I'm with you. I love Dokku and Shiseru. I hope they'll be together and be a parents for Mina and the rest children. Its sad to know Shiseru cant bear child because the accident in the past. I love everytime the panel turn from Shiseru and Sakura, to Dokku and Naruto then turn to Shiseru and Sakura again. I hope Naruto and Sakura can help them. They both know the situation of OC's. Sakura and Naruto know their burdens. I hope everythings gonna be great in the end for all the OC's.

WHY U RUIN IT! dammit I really liked this filler arc too! just stop ruining it! They made the 4 tails really weak to the point where Lee and Guy are beating it at only 3 gates with 1 attack. The 4 tails nearly killed Orochimaru, one of the strongest Shinobi in the series. Just by touching it's skin you get serious wounds that act like poison. It levels entire forests just by waving it's arm. Also way to fail to fire anywhere near the village with that Tailed Beast Bomb. not only that but their Hinata worship was just mindbogglingly stupid. Healing powers now? Really? We are never going to see that in the manga, stop trying to force us to like Hinata, it's just getting annoying. I really hope next episode is better.
Seriously though, replace Hinata with a cardboard cutout and an audio message that says "Naruto-kun", it's her only purpose in the series anymore. even in filler it's all she says.


*sigh* I think if they took out the fight scenes and Hinata's new totally cannon-manga powers then it would be a decent episode. The ending was very suspenseful and it's interesting to know that the filler woman lost her ability to have kids. no wonder that guy feels so guilty.


Also I was freaking out at that kiss scene, I was like "WHAAAAT? In a Shounen anime? NO F'n WAY! This is absolutely going to get interrupted......... CALLED IT!"

I have to admit, the Shiseru/Dokku stuff was well written, I also didn't expect it to be pretty dark, with Shiseru's injuries so grave that she'll have to live with the fact that she will never be able to bear a child. I thought Dokku beating himself up about that incident was silly, but it makes sense now.

A happy ending for them would either be adopting the kids and start a new life. Or adopting and have children of their own with the help of Tsunade and Sakura. I wouldn't be surprised if from the start Sakura knew about Shiseru's condition just by looking at her wounds. She might even have sent Tsunade a letter about it, aside from the regular reports.

BTW, someone on NF speculated Mina's actually an Uzumaki Clan member/descendant. It makes sense. Red hair, and the unique ability to force out the Kyuubi clone somehow. Which means she poured chakra into Naruto's seal and tampered with it without her knowing.

Me too i knew since the poster was released i knew that she could be a uzumaki clan member but somehow i find this trait kind of silly, everyone with red hair being a potential member of this clan.

Naruto is blonde and he's a member of the clan too.

That is a different case. The equivalent to Hinata healing would be like Sakura doing the gentle fist.

In the anime, Karin knows how to heal as well, so I'm not sure how they explained why Sasuke had to bite her in the later episodes. >_>

Hot damn, Sakura on the other hand is getting into fights with Edo Jounin's and beating them with no difficulty. I hated the episode where Naruto made his filler confession, because fillers shouldn't cross into something as important as the main character's love life. The same logic applies here -- the fandom doesn't like the idea of Hinata with Sakura's trademark skill.

While it is technically filler, remember that Kishimoto sometimes writes the fillers into the manga. For example, Tenten's scroll summons were first shown in the anime.

No I didn't. When I say "Kishi" I mean the manga. The manga has shown this scene, so the anime is able to adapt it into their episodes without going against canon. I would think you would have realized what I meant.

Ino, Sakura, and Tenten are shown to be able to heal, so they didn't want to leave Hinata out. Its not a big deal, they didn't depict her as a skilled medical ninja like Sakura. Just the basics.
Such a minor thing shouldn't get anyone "pissed".

She did nothing anormal of her behavior, when sakura starts using rasengan on fillers you tell me if it's absurd.

They extended that hinat confession and showed her fighting against pain instead of the "One kit KO".
My complain about that was because they did that scene with a high quality when the entire naruto's fight against pain was done with a trash quality, it's two different things.

her childhood was almost like sasuke and his big brother, while neji was a genius she was strong enough compared to neji.

Second they are getting sakura traits and roles and putting this to hinata on fillers so what's the point of this?

If you think that Sakura just stood there and not fight, sorry, but you're wrong. Of course she did that, otherwise she would've gotten herself killed making the job harder for Chiyo to keep up with. That's why nobody is complaining with it.
She did have difficulty with Edo Jounins, plus her training skills were applied on the fillers, nothing more. We saw her kicking, we saw her taking some kicks, nothing out of the ordinary.
But if you're telling me that Hinata healing is not out of the ordinary, than I don't know what to say.
Pierrot simply copies everything that was shown in the manga for Sakura and puts to Hinata, of course we're enraged, I find it actually normal to react.
If we hadn't reacted, I think it would be hypocrisy because saying that you're not minded that Pierrot does all those things is like saying you're not minded if NS won't be cannon and NH would be normal.
So, sorry, instead of faking my emotions and be indeed hypocritical, I'd rather express my true emotions and indignation than act like everything is ok.
