Lol I love the show. Sometimes the villains got some really badass lines. Anyway, I love it. Kai special one always makes me laugh because Kai being well fast paced, so why not crammed it in under 3 minutes.

Don't forget also vegetas badassness an the fact during the freizer saga he tells Krillin, piccolo and gohan 'because i'm awesome' gets mad they are ignoring him an keeps saying 'uh hello, awesomeness right here!'

Huh...why did I think he was going to be surrounded by a light blue Aura? Oh well. You know I am not sure how powerful this form really is. To be fair, even gods in the Dragonball universe are....kind of weak. So they say "Super Saiyen God," but is it really a "godly power?" Among men, sure, but when I think of a "God" I think something that is beyond the realm of dimensional power. When I think of a God, I think of something that creates and destroys in a single instant.Even create matter out of nothing.

Is that was this form does?

QUOTE (Dαrkrєrsŧ @ Mar 16 2013, 09:18 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
It's an excuse to make Goku stronger than Superman?

Two words: Superman Prime.

Plus since this form requires 6 other Saiyens to pull off, and DB rules say no outside help, then this form is impossible to achieve in a one on one fight.

Unless that what it needs to unlock the form only and he can use by himself afterwards. and as for that whole gods are weak thing, well not ALL are weak. Take a look at Bills. But I don't deny that the gods seem weak in battle from the Majin Buu VS. Supreme Kais. Toriyama needs to fix some of these plot inconveniences.

Here's a quick way to delete all inconsistencies:

1. Select everything past Frieza-saga.
2. Delete.
3. Done. Now you have the best series ever.

Not found of everything after it? What's wrong with others? Not saying you're wrong, but I would like to hear the reason. Lately, people like the last arc just because it was at their limit.

I do have to admit, DBZ would've been a much better series over all if it ended after Freiza.

Same, though Cell would have been good too just because Gohan was hyped to surpass Goku and he did. I always like the narrator describing all the moments he shown great power and now it's finally unleashed. That could have been great. BuU could have been great IF they didn't let Goku take the glory once more, contradicting Cell.

I actually would like it better if DBZ was done after Cell. A couple of things I like from Cell/Android saga are the following:

*Majority of the whole series was basically a "sausage" fest (mainly all male-fighters) and not one single female that can keep up (since Chi-Chi was now a typical shonen mother). And then with this saga, we got Android 18 who can keep up (currently, not really so she's with Piccolo, Krillin and the rest of the Z-Fighters).

*Goku isn't exclusive to being the ONLY saiyan that can transform into SSJ. Liked the idea Gohan and Vegeta can transformed.

*Cell was very interesting as a villain, Frieza was just all "I'm God-tier" in the universe IMO.

*Gohan took the role as main character during the final moments (which he was supposed to according to Toriyama's notes way before he started DBZ).

*Future Trunks and his history (though I think that Dr. Gero and 19 could've been the ones who destroyed Trunks' future instead of 17 and 18).

Buu Saga... it was good in the beginning but then, it had gotten so confusing and was very inconsistent.

- Introduction of SSJ3, fine and dandy but for Goku, it wasn't his strongest form... (I still don't get how Trunks and Goten got it quickly with a fusion).
- Speaking of Goku, (my favorite male character of the series), fans wanted him alive and well.
- Gohan, despite his new potenial, sucked
- As I said with the other characters besides the saiyans, everyone got shafted, BADLY, including Videl who had potential as another great female fighter.
- Fusions in general...

Only thing I liked in this saga was Gohan and Videl actually had development as a couple.

The Buu saga was badly damaged by editorial interference (based on "what the fans want"), which destroyed a lot of its potential. I'm glad it exists (because I love the Gohan\Videl dynamic of that part of the series), but I wish it had been handled better.

It started out well enough, but I pretty much quit on the series after Videl and Gohan seperate after the World Tournament, because that's where things just went further and further downhill... and most of the problems, I gather, came from editorial insistance based on fan reaction (Spopovich is killed, but NOT by Gohan as he deserved; Vegeta becomes a villain again, but then overcomes his own villainy... for no apparent reason; Goku is beaten by Majin Vegeta, but then later reveals the whole Supersaiyan 3 thing, showing he really didn't have to lose to Vegeta after all; Gohan is beaten by Dabura for no apparent reason other than that he's forgotten how to fight, which might have been okay if it had been followed up properly (but of course it wasn't); I could go on) And all that BEFORE Gohan's training (which should have allowed him to end things instead of Goku, but of course "Hey, we want Goku to be the ultimate world savior!") and Goku's callous disregard for his own family in the final few episodes of the series (party? Nah. Oh, and I'm going to go off and train this guy for the next umpteen years for no apparent reason, abandoning my wife and children AGAIN, this time not for the somewhat valid (if inaccurate, because he was NOT the villain-attractor he seemed to think he was; most of these guys were pretty big villains before he ever hit the scene) excuse of doing so to save the world, but rather simply because the writers insisted that the series end with him still alive (so they could continue it, themselves)! *huff* *huff* Okay, I'm done ranting, here.

I think it's a bit too simplistic to say "Oh, just end the series after Frieza\Cell and all of the problems would be gone!" Toriyama didn't really want to continue the series that long, true, but he did a pretty good job with the Cell Saga (which was a part of that "didn't want to do it" section) because the editors left him alone to write it as he liked, even if he was being forced to continue it past what he thought was the natural series end. The Buu saga may have been the same, if the editors had just left him alone to write it.

Editors aren't the bane of a writer's existance -- most of the time they're quite helpful -- but when they start trying to micro-manage the development of a series by someone as acclaimed as Toriyama, they're bound to do nothing but screw everything up.

You haven't experienced the full cofusion of modern gender relations until you've heard an angry group of women yelling, "We want tentacles!" at an all-night Hentai-fest.

And.... this is exactly what I'm fearing for Kishi now. If Toriyama, the Legend himself is subjected to this kind of abuse from the editorial department, what will that make of Kishi??

Agreed. I really wanted Vegeta to get his SSJ form.

*Cell was very interesting as a villain, Frieza was just all "I'm God-tier" in the universe IMO.

Super Saiyan concur with your point here. I thought Cell was a better villain.

*Future Trunks and his history
I liked Trunks and his story.

It's my inference, that all fused characters are able to basically pull anything from their butts. Somewhat like magic, they're only limited by their imagination.

- Speaking of Goku, (my favorite male character of the series), fans wanted him alive and well. Me being one of them

- Gohan, despite his new potenial, sucked
He wasn't very interesting to me in the Buu saga.

- As I said with the other characters besides the saiyans, everyone got shafted, BADLY, including Videl who had potential as another great female fighter. Is this a comment on just the Buu saga or DBZ in general? Because from the moment Radditz arrived, every non-saiyan other than Piccolo became irrelevant.

Not really. Despite the injuries/death scenes, the non-saiyan fighters participated and contributed in the action. Not just suddenly came in for one second to be and then be immediately incapcipated/dead. And my comment was on the Buu Saga.

Toriyama wanted to end a while ago, so pretty much he didn't care any much for later on. I did hear story that he done stuff that supposed to piss fans off, only to have them happier. Just relax on the world of manga. We wait until we see how it really shows. Funny, because Bakuman just ended too. happy.gif

I personally loved Dragon Ball Z so much that I didn't mind any of the saga's, not once did it feel like it was too much, on the contrary I was crushed when it was over. I always loved getting to see the characters interact. So after frieza we saw more of that. My favorite saga was Cell's because I love future Trunks and we got to see what Gohan could really do. Plus who could pass up the episode where Goku and Piccolo had to learn to drive XD Funny side stuff like that was one of my favorite things, and I wish there was more of it in Z. In the Buu saga I loved getting to see everyone together at the material arts tournament. Seeing 18 and Vegeta hit those punching bags was hilarious. Plus I adore Goten, it doesn't get much cuter then a mini Goku. Oh and Majin Vegeta and his classic evil grin after killing half of the audience in the tournament still gives me chills. Then there's the end of the Buu saga, the thumbs up Goku and Vegeta give each other at the end brought me to tears, no joke. I was like awe they are really best bros now ^^;

Overall I loved the family that the Dragon Ball cast was, not so much the fighting and eneimes. I loved seeing enemies become the best of friends, and our original cast have families. With each saga I was more interested in seeing everyone change, get older, and stronger. I absolutely loved Yo! Son Goku and friends return because it was all about them getting together again. I'm really looking forward to the movie not for SSJG or Bills, no I'm looking forward to seeing Toriyama bringing all the cast together once again for one more adventure ♥

I really hope Funimation picks up the film sometime and dubs it since Sean Schemmel said he was game to do something else as Goku once more.

And... the last chapter of Bakuman was placed around the back. Judging by how the last arc went, there's no doubt the arc actually reflected what was going on behind the scenes. Just about everyone who learned of what happened agreed JUMP was being a big kitten.

The way I see it, I wonder if because this is the last arc, they want to cater to the fans' wishes. The Buu arc was the last arc, same goes for this war.
