I just went and pre-ordered the game. Now how does this help me get the Goku and all the rest of the outfits?

All first print run copies of the game come with the Goku costume free so if you've pre-ordered the game you'll get that no worries but getting the extra costumes depend on where you live.
In Europe the 5 extra costumes come with the Collectors Edition but i'm not sure how they are available in America or even if they are available.

Just a little thought in response to Derock's comment about the Storm series going DOA on us.

If Swimsuit Sakura is in, along with fanservice-tastic RtN!Hinata, does anyone think we might get swimsuits for all (if not more) the females??

Oh yes, that's right you heard me, Ino, Tsunade, Mei, Shizune (this one seriously needs more fanservice!!!) and several others that escape my mind.

It would be better to have a bunch of alternative costumes (unlocked and/or DLC) for all characters, not just swimsuits for the female cast. They can bring back the Konoha Gauken costumes for not only for Naruto and Sasuke but for also Sakura and others (I mean, come on, they had messed that one up in UNH3, how can you ignore the sailor schoolgirl outfit fetish for Sakura, Ino and Hinata). Then we can have the outfits from the promotional artwork from Kishimoto and Studio Pierrot (examples are the kimonos for Team 7, casual samurai outfits from one of the Shippuden endings for Naruto and Sasuke, and more).

It's a Japanese fighting game made by a Japanese company based off a Japanese manga, I would be shocked if school outfits weren't put in as dlc at some point. What was that Naruto Wii game where they all have swords and fight dragons or something (that wasn't very good) because those costumes were pretty cool I wouldn't mind seeing them again. And I'll say it again but even though it was only just shown I would love to see Samurai Sakura from the 616 color spread as dlc at some point. Also bring back pajama Naruto from Storm 1. I do hope they support alternative costume dlc for a while because I'm a sucker for that sort of stuff.

Also for Codus one of the endings featured all the characters at the beach, I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that's where Bikini Sakura comes from so you may just get your wish.

I actually hoped for dlc to be like not just costumes but also their personalities. Like I want to hear Sasuke say something all playboy like in the game. It will be hilarious. Naruto sure got tons for himself however. Here's hoping for more dlc for many characters. Oh yeah, swimsuit Sakura. Hehe, I do use her as a support so...

Yeah, that's what I figure they would do. But I do hope some of them gets changed. Ino's swimsuit looked hideous to me in that ending, Tsunade's is pretty lackluster as well. But anyways, I do believe that the possibility of swimsuits for all the females is becoming very likely.

Also, am I the only one hoping for a skit with all the females in their swimsuits?? just imagine the possibilities.... (as long as they don't bash Sakura ) it'll be very hilarious for sure .

I'm actually hoping for the skit including either Shikamaru or Jiraiya. Shikamaru, simply because he'll comment deadpannedly when in reality, he's trying very hard to resist looking at Temari (or Ino). Jiraiya goes without saying.

Talking of which Road to Ninja Hinata is also included as part of the Collectors edition costume pack. I am surprised to see Second stage Kyuubi Naruto though, specially as the Anime won't be anywhere near the point where their partnership forms so it could spoil and even put off some people from buying the game, I know my friends will avoid the game if they knew that it will spoil the future anime episodes.

If you have a look at the end of that trailer it has some pre-order bonuses, just by pre-ordering the game anyone will get the extra costumes, but this is only for Europe and Australasia, if you live in America I don't think you get them, not saying you wouldn't ever get them they'll probably be dlc later down the road. Again sorry.

Onto the trailer, I love the look of this game I honestly think Kyuubi Chakra Naruto looks better in the game than he does in the anime, also I know a lot of people were dubious about how far the story mode will end, but it really seems it will go up to Naruto and Kurama joining forces. That should mean Madara will be in it, Unmasked Tobi and Sage Kabuto may not but you never know.

so with anyone you mean all persons that pre-ordered the game and therefore not necessarily the collectors edition, went to pre-order today and they didn't know anything about a collectors editon.
and with extra costumes I suppose you mean the swimsuit sakura as well? ^^

The DLC is coming to the US. It probably follow similarly to Tekken Tag Tournament 2 when Namco handled the characters and stages DLC for that game.
