That reminds me of a time I discussed Naruto with other people. Get this: they didn't even see NaruSaku as a possible pairing until I mentioned it.
To each their own I guess.

At least they see it when you mentioned it.
I'll give people advice: out of all of people I talked to about Naruto, there will be Sakura bashing and Hinata "Must get Naruto" discussion wherever you mention stuff about pairings. Besides myself, 2 or 3 other people I know whom loves Sakura to death. But the rest, they just talk about her like a dog because of Sakura's portrayal throughout the story.
But there are some reasonable people when we were talking about this week's chapter. You will have to thank Paradox for making the theory of Karin being an Uzumaki, which I was surprised and had that funny feeling the theory was believable and canon. But the whole Itachi/Sasuke fight with Kabuto: while its very interesting thanks to Kabuto's new abilities, I couldn't just read the whole chapter because Sasuke is once again present, trying to becoming a "good guy", helping with Itachi. I swear this fight better have Sasuke going down crazy mode as a bad guy for his fight with Naruto or this won't be tolerable in my eyes.
Tsunderes get no love with most western fans. They just DON'T understand the concept
I've seen this fairly often in people who only watch the anime, don't read the manga. The anime really distorts things to make viewers think Hinata is far more significant than she is, and has vastly underplayed Sakura's actions since the end of the fight with Sasori. The most extreme of this was during the destruction of Konoha arc. They absolutely distorted that arc out of canon.... Underplaying and changing Sakura's one punch kill of the giant centipede summons into just stunning it and having the witnessing ninja acting blase rather than stunned by Sakura's instant kill of it. (then having it menace Shikamaru and Kurenai in a total filler scene) They turned Hinata's total nonfight with Pain into a battle and inserted a reaction of Naruto that wasn't in the manga. While at the same time they underplayed Sakura's calm leadership at this moment of great crisis...
Well the Sakura kills centipede thing doesn't matter cause not many others could have done that anyway. With a PUNCH.

Hinata's fight DID give her too much credit for sure, but justified that they had to keep the episode going for half an hour. Had to milk it for all it's worth.
