A symbol. Not all of them. There are only rough estimates to their amount of members, and if they're as low as a thousand operatives there would be little point in fighting over who gets what if there will be nothing to get done. This is not America we're talking about, this is an Islamic organization of modern-day sabotouers who are fighting for a crusade of their own. They won't fight bitterly over who-gets-what, because by the time the fighting is done between them there would be nothing left to attack the enemy with. Osama was no fool, he would never have a command of miscrients and losers; he would've trained every one of them equally to respect their leader by Islamic law, and that is what they will most likely do.

Osama bin Laden has been killed.

It all comes down to that childhood mentality of "I want what that kid has over there has because it's big and shiny". If one country has big powerful weapons/nukes, other countries will want them too so that they don't feel inferior and left out of the 'global sandbox', or like all the bigger kids got the best 'toys' aka weapons.

I agree with you fully on that.

Frankly, all nukes should just be dismantled and we as a species be done with it; there's really no use in having a **** all button when it's not an even remotely practical option.
Nice as that would be...the nations that possess them will never trust each other enough to be able to do this and there are many others (like the Iranians and maybe the Syrians) who see the power they have the potential to bring and will continue to persue them. And that's assuming all nukes are present and accounted for...a big if in places like Russia.
Some of the nuke nations include: US, Russia, France, Britian, Pakistan, India, Israel (probably...won't confirm or deny they have them), North Korea, and China.
Imagine you are President and you are willing to agree to dismantle everything based on a promise from the Pakistanis, Russians and Chinese that they too will do so if you do it?
Do you trust them to follow through? Do you believe they trust you enough to follow through themselves?
Both questions should be a resounding hell no.
It would be fantastic if circumstances were such that there was a mutual trust of that level, but they don't.

Turns out it was Osama using her, and she was one of his wives.

Bastard, hope we covered his body in chum before tossing him into the deep.

Well apparently they didn't. Since Osama's death didn't qualify him for a necessary sea burial, he was supposed to be interred in the dirt with his head pointing toward Mecca.

Following strict Islamic law in this case is mob rules, by ditching the body in 24 hours.

Yes I was wondering why the sea? Why not the usual land burial? Are they afraid of people digging up his grave and do things to his corpse? Even Saddam's body was buried with his family members. Things are really treated differently with this guy.

The excuse is that they didn't want him to be treated with a shrine or as a martyr. They didn't want him to be found...ever.
