This was an awesome video to watch. It does help to make up for the lack of NaruSaku we've been getting in the recent manga.

Naruto's wounds at the end didn't make sense as they were more like claw marks, but the scene was still well-animated and nice to watch.

Now, come on, Kishi! Kick Naruto back into action and reunite Team Kakashi!

I know it's not fan-made, and it seems to have the same animation characteristics as latest filler animation (to my eye, anyway), but does anyone know exactly who made it and why? Is it a promotional from the anime company? Is it just an OVA in a nod to the canon stuff that the filler anime has moved audiences so far away from? Or is it a personal animation made by a subversive NS shipper as a stand against the current NH trend of the anime? (Last one is my personal fave. If I worked for them, I would TOTALLY head up the Ministry of Misinformation and leak out NS stuff ALL The TIME.)

I think it is an AMV made by Gainax, but I am not utterly certain of it.

Y'know, it's kind of nostalgic that in this day and age, when the Internet makes finding every shred of information about your favorite anime/character/series, that these guys still use early-80s cartoon marketing techniques. Which is to say, there is no information. You just happen to stumble onto something great if your tv's rabbit-ears antenna is pointed the right way.

You are right: It IS kind of nostalgic. It reminds me of when you stumbled about something unknown, you tried it and you found out it was great. Or when you found out things at your own pace instead of getting information shoved down your throat.

First thing I thought of when I saw that was te kyuubi which doesn't make any sense at all.

This was an awesome OVA both the fights and Narusaku moments were amazing. I haven't been this hyped up by Naruto in such a long time! It was definately a refresher (:

Here's a thought that came to me though: If Sakura is a medical ninja, shouldn't she know that just because Naruto relaxed his arm and rested doesn't mean he's dead (lol reminds me of Kung Pow)? So maybe Naruto DID die but was somehow revived (which would explain the lack of blood when he woke up) by his parents/kyuubi? *shrugshrug

Oh and if Sakura is crying on Naruto's chest... I guess Naruto's head is buried in Sakura's, huh? Naruto you sly fox Thank goodness it isn't Hinata who's crying on Naruto, he would probably be smothered by her big chest lol jk jk (:

So there are people on Pierot that are NS and there are other people who are NH?

Wow I never thought that would be possible, so there's a possibility that they staff is probably having their own shipping war. I guess the entire Pierot staff is not a 100% NH. I guess I will take back what I said about hating Pierot, at least there are people who agree with Kishi's canon pairing.

That actually did come across my mind. I thought to myself "are Sakura's breast covering Naruto's face? ". I guess I'm not the only one thought about it that way or something different yet similar.

Wow i havent in quite a while, i've just seen the new ova and i'm speechless, animation was fantastic and the narusaku moments were awesome. i cannot wait for this to happen in the manga

It is useless -and meaningless and ultimately pointless- try and reasoning with a shipper (any kind of radical shipper of any fandom, not matter what pairing her/she supports) because usually nobody will change their minds about the subject and everybody will believe they are right, so I recommend you not wasting your time, and if that person is being rude, not let he/she brings you down to his/her level.

I would rather we talk about Naruto and NaruSaku instead of getting worried or annoyed about what NH fans can think or claim.

Maybe when Naruto and Sasuke were fighting Kabuto and Madara came out of nowhere knocked out Sasuke and released the Kyuubi from Naruto, then Naruto tried to confront the Kyuubi (that's how he got those claw marks on him) but he was feeling too weak. Kakashi and Sakura saw from far away that the Kyuubi was released.

So at the end Kabuto and Madara are leaving with the Kyuubi, Sasuke is waking up and thinking about going after Madara and Kabuto (maybe smiling because he got another Sharingan boost), Naruto has those scars and Kakashi and Sakura think Naruto died.

I loved this OVA but at time there's something I don't like, it seems like too much spoiler and even though in the manga the outcome of the fight might be the same I feel that the chances of the scenes being the same are very slim. Too bad because I don’t know why but I really really liked the scene after the fights where it went from Sasuke on his knees looking at Naruto to now Sakura looking at Naruto in the same position.
