[Strangelove]

The Shipper wars have heated up, it almost looks thermonuclear. But i think were all taking it the wrong way, she said pick a girlfriend that's more like her. Naruto picked Sakura as his girlfriend, so its not big news, we all know he had and still does have a crush on Sakura. It doesn't mean Sakura picked Naruto as his boyfriend.

heck even Hinata has 6 letters, Madara as well, Nagato, Minato, is it a Japanese thing to have ppl named with 6 letters?

What I can picture though is Tsunade finally giving Sakura the Slug Contract scroll, and then sending her to the land of the slugs to train (the toads have Myubokuzan, so the slugs and snakes must have their own homelands as well).

I'd like to see that as well, but considering she isn't the child of prophesy and as far as we know there is no such thing as the Slug Sage, I doubt she'd go to the Slugs homeland for training. You forget Sasuke just took his brothers eyes, which means he's instantly gets a freeby power-up.

Sasuke has his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan now, remember? We don't know what he's capable of right now. As it's Sasuke, though, we can infer that it won't make any sense, and will be an incredible Ass Pull.

Hmm, Sakura showing up in the island would be an interesting development, but it wouldn't make her more like a heroine. Rather, I'm hoping she has command of some of the medical corps in the war. Strength is cool and all, but it doesn't mean anything if you're dead. Saving peoples lives is more important than killing. At least to me, anyway.

Didn't Itachi say that EMS only gives you one new jutsu?

Unless he gains Madara's S/T ability, Naruto still has the advantage imo.

No, Itachi never said that. He said that the only way to prevent yourself from going blind from the EMS is to do an eye transplant. Don't know where you got the one new jutsu thing from...

I can't remember where i exactly saw it at but i was in a debate at NF, It could be wrong though.

By NF I assume you mean Narutofan? If so, I wouldn't use any information you find there. It's... it's not a well place.

I have the strong feeling that there can be only one living Slug contract user from what we've seen in the manga. Unlike with the snake and toad, where the contract can basically be spammed to anyone (especially the snake one, the toad contract looks a bit tougher, but still allows at least two living contract users) Shizune has shown no evidence of ever signing the slug contract. But despite the limitation on the contract Katsuya is the most friendly and readily helpful of the three (snakes will turn on the contract holder in a heartbeat, and the toads are grouchy and quick to depart when frightened or irritated), and her link seems to be the closest powerwise as well- Tsunade was able to send her healing abilities through Katsuya to everyone alive in Konoha. This last kind of points as well to there being only one contract user at a time. Katsuya is the sole summon for the slug contract as well as far as we've seen, unlike with snakes and toads.

Kishi does things for a reason, he kept Tsunade alive, he killed Danzou, and he gives Naruto Rikudo's seal. He does this things for a reason, i didn't thought Tsunade would have made it after the Pain arc, considering the other 2 sennin were dead, i thought Danzou was going too escape, but Sasuke killed him. I did not see Naruto Sage happening...lol that i didn't expect xD

I'm kind of wondering if Kishimoto won't have Sakura come to the island on her own (with Tsunade's permission. Tsunade isn't happy about the situation, and she could send Sakura there to check up on things, with the excuse from Tsunade that she wanted to send a highly skilled Konoha medic nin to make sure everyone is healthy and to heal any injuries) Sakura gets there and right after she arrives Madara launches his first salvo of the 4th ninja world war. Thus Sakura is stuck on that island too (which was part of Tsunade's plan too, she wanted Sakura to be safe as well, as Sakura especially of her students, she views like a daughter.)

Well, it probably wouldn't happen but it would be great development for her. Why? WoT, people. With the WoT, we will definitely some major development with Sakura

There is the possibility of Naruto mentioning Sakura then Kisame picks up the info and we have a problem. How to get to Naruto. It is assumed that Kisame will be killed because Bee+Naruto+Yamato=Pwnge.

It could also turn into one of catsi's theories.

Not to beat a dead horse, but if Sakura was comparatively very weak in part 1, why would it stand to reason she'd get a power boost in part 2? She got a little stronger already, as she learned how to super-charge punches like Tsunade. Other than that, she's very weak as a fighter, just like she was in part 1.

I'm not even sure Tsunade could help her in this regard, seeing as how Tsunade herself isn't exactly godlike. She's easily the least dangerous of the Hokages. I understand that was never her role, and she's an excellent medical nin, but we might need to get used to the fact that Kishi cannot write females for this series in anything other than a supporting role. All the big battles have been fought exclusively by men, and there's no reason to think that won't continue.

The only female in the entire series that I saw with first-class fighting ability was the Mizukage, and we saw her battle for what, 5 pages?

I'm still waiting for one, just ONE regular female in this series that isn't a glorified uber-nurse.

Sakura is strong and has smarts, however that said Naruto and Sasuke have turned into the superior shinobi of the world and she is fulfilling a different skill set, also I'd like to see how the Mizukage comes into this role, herself being a swordsman and Kage.

However in a fight and you had to choose Sakura or Hinata my money is on Sakura. Besides I think even Kishi knows how he does with female characters.
