I can only guess if Sakura did has some left over feelings for before her confession then no doubt she got rid of them completely when Sasuke told her that his goal is to destroy Konoha. That's where she chose clearly her village over him the safety of her family and friends and of course Naruto over the life of her former teammate.

Yea, not to mention him trying to kill her...And I wasn't saying that she still cared more for Sasuke than Naruto during her confession just that she wasn't completely over him like she was suggesting. I'd say it was pretty obvious that she cared more for Naruto considering she went to kill Sasuke to protect Naruto even though she felt Naruto would hate her for it.

As it stands now, I believe Sakura now understands where she stands with Sasuke. She must be aware by now that, even if he is redeemed, too much has changed in their lives for their relationship to be as it was. I don't doubt that she will continue to support him if/when he's redeemed, but she must know now that there is no future for her and Sasuke in a relationship on a romantic level. Sure, she still 'loves' him and she always will (she'll always hold a candle to him) but, and I firmly believe that recent events have more or less confirmed this, she loves Naruto MORE. I just hope now that Naruto, having heard the story of his parents early years, can understand that a woman's opinion of a man CAN and WILL change (as Sakura put it, 'like the autumn sky').

Kishi did say in the interview (sorry to those that don't know were it is and absolutely hate it (not trying to offend anyone) when someone mentions it) that he thought he was writing an honest and determined girl in her confession if I'm correct.

i agree with you...i think she know that she likes him from the first chapter in part 2 but she didn't know that is a love until Naruto turn into forur talid state and after what Yamato said to her

I think she started to realize abit during rescue Gaara arc when she started to cry for Naruto that if his bijuu would be extracted he would die but i agree not till 4 tails event she really notices it.

Some people think Sasuke was in love with Sakura.
I don't think at all.
I think he was flattered and touched in a way, but that's all.
He had no time to think about this.
He loved her as much as he loved Naruto, like comrades.

But I think he was jealous because it's flattering to have a fangirl, even if she's ridiculous lol ^^
At first, in Sakura's eyes, he was the only one hero.
He was proud.
But when Sakura started to look at Naruto with THOSE EYES, you know what I mean, Sasuke notice it and became more and more jealous.

I'm pretty sure this is the place to put this (correct me if I'm wrong) but I was re-reading through Sakura's confession and on chapter 474 page 4 Sai says

"By giving up and Sasuke and confessing her love for you"

Now that to me sounds like it was a real confession. Sai might be on the emotionless side, but he certainly knows more about emotions then any other character. (or so it seems to me)

I apologize if this was brought up again, but through all 5 pages I read I don't think I saw anything about that in here. >.>

When Sakura says "Sorry Naruto" before she leaves I assume that would mean shes apologizing for what she's going to do.

Again, dunno if this was brought up previously, but it could be something to look over 1 more time.

You could go further and say that, since Sai spent most of his life having his emotions repressed and has only recently been exploring and embracing them, perhaps he is picking up on the emotional changes of certain people (e.g. Sakura) much faster than other characters with whom expressing emotion is so second nature to them that they sometimes fail to register such changes (e.g Naruto). Simply put, Sai's lack of experience allows him to pick up on the things that normal would likely miss.

I would like to assume you are correct, however it isn't safe to assume anything at all in things such as manga since it can be perceived in many different ways. I would like to re-read back to where Sai gilt trips sakura, however I'm lazy and don't feel like doing so at the moment, even though I'm sure there is another clue of some sort there. But from what I've seen (including Sakura's expressions towards Naruto after he saved her from Sasuke) I would very much say that she is in love with him and has realized it. If not before the confession, she certainly has by now.

-And that would be an Aramalite M95 Single Shot .50 Cal anti ordinance rifle. It has an EOTech as well as the laserlyte K-15 laser on it. My "tool of the trade". PM me if you would like to know more about it.-
