Yep, "Asinine Rationalizations " is none other than the sequel to "Something or Other"! I thought it was very well written. It's not quite up there with the original, but the original is something that is very hard to match anyway!

It's a little darker in tone, but there are some very nice moments that make you smile and even chuckle a bit.

Such as the sock in the freezer, with its companion in the microwave... XD

Although Sakura made a mistake with the napkin, I couldn't help but smile at how her face lit up with delight when she thought Naruto was starting to use napkins! Putting a touch of Inner Sakura in the Sakura narratives was pretty neat as well.

Good old Icha Icha Paradise makes its appearance. I found Sakura's thoughts on reading it very interesting, and the moments that made her flush were quite funny.

All in all I thought that Naruto and Sakura's thoughts were very well written, and it does lightly explore the "consequence" of being the girlfriend of the bearer of the demon fox.

And the ending... you see how much Sakura misses Naruto's presence. Another hint of how she has grown really attached to him - she is very independent, but she loves his comforting presence (as well as the more obvious benefits).
