well, maybe it was a little rude but it's truth... Don't worry, for me he's still better than mangastream
But what I tryng to say here is true: In these lastet years the quality of translations is getting more poor and this's sad...
俺は天才バスケットマン桜木花道。
"I'm the Basketball genius, Hanamichi Sakuragi"

It's like we got to be hip, yo! That's...really lame. Thank god my Halo novels didn't get tarnished. Then again, they are novels.

...or maybe it's like you said and Viz does indeed support NH xD
It's still a mystery to me as to why they changed Kushina's advice about girls. "Don't fall for a weird one." looks pretty straight forward to me. It's funny how in Storm 3 Kushina properly delivers the correct advice in the japanese dub, but the english subs still change it to "first girl that comes your way.".
Then again "first girl that comes your way" could mean the first girl that declares she likes you, so Hinata looses either way.

"Find a girl like me" can't be twisted to fit NH.

Unless for some unknown reason she becames a tsundere and decides to change her hair color to red

Neither do I. Again, they only making too straightforward without having certain impacts. It's a downside. But hey, I got the first volume of part 2 with a free color page! Hooray!
And decided to hate one aspect of her body (maybe looking too much of Rock Lee's hair?). Heck, let's have her get a pupil in her eyes. Start dressing like Kushina. Ok, that's pushing it but yeah.

Didn't the Rock Lee manga made fun of that. I think Hinata actually got depressed for the association of hairstyle.
Funny enough both of them also tend to use polite speech when addressing people (-kun for guys and -san for girls). Both also had a certain rivalry with Neji at given points. And of course the fact that they both have unrequited crushes on one of the main characters.
It's almost like they kindred spirits fighting the same battle.

Actually, that's where I got the joke from.
That is funny how you pointed that out. Not to forget that they are proud failures. Sad how people really downplay Rock Lee's love for Sakura. Yes, he won't win her, though prefer over SS, but sheesh, it is there still. If he can't win, why Hinata has to? It goes to show you that side characters can't win them all. Naruto, on the other hand, has to if he's the role model that Kishi planned to made.

I know. I mentioned it in a post above.
The japanese dub was kept accurate with the "Don't fall for a weird one", but the english was changed to "Don't fall for the first girl that comes your way".
"Comes your way".....

You mean the way how she sounded like Hinata has no chance while Sakura is the most likely answer.

How does that prove they aren't biased? I'm not saying they are, but I really don't get what you're trying to explain

I can't say that they are biased, but I can say they butchered the moment at times. I'm just glad the databook is very close to Japanese original writings.

He will always have that feeling. It just that we need one more confirmation. Honestly, one more time will kill any chance for anything. You know, if he did change feelings, you would assume the ending would be different, despite being the fact it's made up. Either way, they could have shift focus, but they didn't. So, what is it that people are missing?
