My hair is brown. But Japanese schools are strict. If they think you dyed your hair they'll force you to make it black.

Actually I made a mistake. It was in middle school not high school when I dyed my hair.

Anyways back to topic, In my case there were a lot of complicating things in between. The teacher who was in charge of "student moral" in school was an avid American hater. He absolutely DESPISED me for not looking fully Japanese and 'being too Westernized'. The hair color was just one thing within the many set of problems.

He often used to say things like, "You think you're cool if you just waltz in school listening to American music and chew bubble gum?" He had accused me of doing things I never did

I did. For my communications project. It is one of tge requirements to make a visible change on the physical appearance so I went to the uh salon to have it died into ash brown.

I am BROWN! My mother's family doesn't have white hair or it goes unnoticed because of their hair color. I don't think we have white hair earlier than other ppl genes. I just pulled out two of them this morning

At least your schools care about rules, other side of coin 

You could start listen to american music and chew bubble gum, if being punished, at least for something

But all is okay. My sister who is a psycho kitten handled the situation for me He was forced to apologize in front of the whole class.
