Why not? It could give some of us disheartened folk motive to listen out for news and summaries about the plot in the movie. Even a sarcastic reaction of that extreme level helps lessen the pain somewhat.

Hey, if it were my decision, the death would belong to Pierrot's horrid movie and marketing scam. We can't gain everything we set out to accomlish though, can we? Naruto did a very good job in leaving us with that important message.

Even then, you shouldn't be suggesting that kind of things. Words are powerful. Sometimes, and by that I mean a lot of times, you say "Kill yourself" and they do it. You don't know how is the person behind the screen.

For me Sasuke was always Old Yeller with rabies. I think the series main message should have been about Naruto having to grow up, and putting and end to Sasuke for his own good as much as the rest of the worlds. Second best would have been a Darth Vader type death, but I still would have preferred to have Naruto just finish it.
