My last hope for the movie:

apparently, there will be some space fights. TECHNICALLY, you can't hear anything in space. So let's pray that only the character's lips will move only and nothing will be heard.

OR that MrStatman7 from Youtube has to make a "If Michael Bay had made a Movie" so that all the explosions will not let us hear anyone talking.

But it's still Kurama, so what would be the significance of showing him without somehow showing it's both Yin and Yang?
 
 
Kurama usually is resting, not sleeping, inside Naruto when he's not doing anything. Then we have those famous eye open panels/scenes. In this one however, he's full on sleeping and there's an emphasis on the fact that he's sleeping.

Well he is a major character so maybe Kishimoto wanted to show him one last time inside Naruto.

The sleeping part could just mean he's bored as others have pointed out

lol Kurama is still sleeping in 700. Why have him sleeping of all things? And show him in the last panel? I mean that's literally useless. It didn't even serve a purpose if there wasn't any Naruto --> Kurama interaction.

Yeah, I'm not saying that's not a possibility, it's the fact that Kishi even brought up the whole thing by Kurama saying, I'm going to give you the last of my chakra so I'll be going to sleep for a while. (along those lines) It's that bit coupled with the final panel that makes it seem odd. It opens up the possibility that it's related to all of this.

Look I understand where you are coming from. Everyone here pretty much accepts the ending but not without a fight. Maybe you should read the first page of this thread and you'll have a better understanding is to what is going on here. Hopefully that helps.

You know, when the village was attacked here with that huge attack (that should have wiped the whole village out btw if it really is an explosion) 

 

 

is the same location where Konoha York is - behind the Hokage mountain. Everything else in the village is pretty normal and matches up with what we've seen in the movie. 

 

 

Not sur if it means anything but meh lol. I think they have radios and T.v's in the Narutoverse too, but a macbook with cables and stuff, sky scrappers, wtf... LOL.

 

 

It all is rather sad honestly. I don't understand why he suddenly would want to take a setting that is basically at most is a diesel punk setting in a feudal society, and update it to a modern setting.

Why does it say village dancing in the leaves? Shouldn't it be village hidden in the leaves?

The question is why would Kishi end his manga with a genjutsu? Why too much Hinata promotion? If NS is canon then why aren't they selling Sakura figures and merchandise? Why have so many NH moments? Why have Kishi say the things he said in the interview? Why Would Kishi trick his NH/SS fans ? Why are NH babies appearing in the movie? If Hinata is being mocked at when she was a child means that the spoilers are true. Why would Nana sing a song dictated to her love for Naruto? Why have Toneri in the plot and some what involved in NH? Why is Hinata the main character in the last? Why would Salad call Sakura her mama? The whiskers. And so many more. I'm not buying this tbh. But I still like to come here.

Either Pierrot has low standards for SS reflected in their artwork or that's fanmade with an official logo tacked on. I'm inclined to side with the latter explanation.

Edit: Sasuke doesn't even appear to be wearing his poncho. Notice the red lining trailing down the end of the garment and the overextended round collar? It looks like an Akatsuki cloak, but without the red clouds woven adorning it.
