I'm not a watcher of the anime, but looking at some things on youtube I found this and thought it was about right. A few changes and it could answer the question about the ending really well.

I think me and you have something in common, Qia. We know how it feels to be them. You for Sakura and me for Naruto. I can't relate to Sakura all that much because...well, I am a male. I am not a female and I am not even going to try and begin to understand. That is fine by me. I am not sexist or anything, just know that we are different. For Naruto, though, I see a lot of myself him and maybe that is why I feel like...Naruto isn't happy.

I feel like people are lying to me saying that Naruto is happy with the ending of this manga. I just feel like this isn't what he really wanted. He kind of just...forced into this situation. Now this movie is going to make it worse for him and it almost seems like he has no control. Everything doesn't feel right.

Do you feel the same for Sakura?

It's okay. I didn't take anything you said as sexist. And yea it's just like you say...the Sakura I saw in 699 and 700 was not my Sakura. For her to go so far as to say "sorry for what?" when Sasuke apologized just completely shocked me to my core. Or...maybe what's really killing me is that I might have been seeing her in the wrong light all this time. Maybe I was wrong to think that she would eventually become strong, not just physically but also emotionally. I mean...during the war she was so confident in herself and then Sasuke just comes along and completely destroys that. Yet I'm supposed to believe that she's happy with him? That she's happy knowing that she almost died and Sasuke would be okay with that because he just sees her as a useless piece of kitten? Even worse is when certain people seek to give reasons as to why this is still okay by saying that Sasuke wasn't himself and that he's been mentally f**cked with because of everything he's been through. Like....what. What if Sakura and Kakashi had died that one time???? THEN WHAT? WHAT'S THE sh*tty EXCUSE NOW?

 

The Sakura Haruno I came to know and love would never have acted the way she did in 699...and she wouldn't be happy with this person in the end because she already expressed that she couldn't trust him. And yea...it's like you say. It feels like she's being controlled against her will. As if she has no agency. And it sickens me that I can't do anything about it. I can't do anything to help her the same way she's helped me.

If they went out of control with that ending i wonder what happened with them while creating the last, must've been quite a fanboy explosion

That's true. My main point was that you could have a good editor alter that scene though. For example by having "the last" trailer up there where the bicycle bit is now. Then alter some of the sub dialogue and make it work pretty well that Sakura is pissed off about being replaced, well Naruto talks about how it happened to please all the Hinata and NH fanboys and girls.

 

It would be like the Hitler joke on youtube that you see all the time. For those of us who don't know Japanese it wouldn't make much difference, it would be about what was written in.

Side characters are fine in an of themselves, it's when they begin to alter the tone of the story, the pace of story, and taking over the main direction of the story to fit them in that I start having a problem.

 

But Hinata is about number 177 of my problems with this story, so it's pretty low compared to other things.

I'm talking about boring one-dimensional characters that serve no purpose other than to be with another character in the story or completely revolves around them. Especially those with little screen time that ruin years of perfectly good shipping just by makimg appearances.

Harem characters who are literally their entire purpose is to fall of for the main character have more personality and dimension.

I really forced myself not to have hope regarding that movie (even trying to avoid Chatte's posts about her theory!) but it seems that something's feels reaaaally weird, and Chatte's not the only one to say that.

I'm not getting my hopes up because a guy on tumblr heard something sometime about Kishimoto saying something. Never the less we will see soon enough. Will be very interesting if what you guys say is true. I wouldn't of guessed it.

Why the ending??

I don't think the Japanese care about the outside.

I like koei games and they only care about their Japanese ps fan base. They add characters base on a poll and it is only open to Japan and no one else.

I am really confused!!
