We're working off the idea that 700 is intentionally misleading. This being the case, Bolt would = Naruto/Sakura.  Salada = Sasuke/Karin  Himawari = Hinata/?

Part of me wishes that those allegations of Kishi intending for Sakura to die by Sasuke's hand in the Kage Summit arc were true. Yes, it would be a turning blind eye to Sakura's personal ambitions and you would be sacrificing the heroine of your manga at an intermediary point before the finale. But to see her die fighting, not as a desperate little girl clinging to her perverse "love" for Sasuke, but in an effort in defeating him for the sake of political stability, and the world as we know it, as well for Naruto's benefit.

I could accept that compared to the end result of this manga. She would at least die with some dignity, and if Kishi actually intended for NH to develop, he could begin to build it up with Hinata comforting Naruto in his grief.

I see what you're saying and honestly, I might've considered this option, over the ending. Kishi's habit to only emphasize females emotional side over their combative side is one of the my glaring flaws about this series, that I never liked. But, I wouldn't expect Sakura's battle with Sauke to be anything other than one sided, because god forbid any female prove she can hold her own against an Uchiha. I mean Kurenai got swatted by Itachi, Tsunade got trashed by Madara, and Sakura could never get over that Sasuke hurdle, no matter how much of a contradictory it was to her character.

 

At this point, I wouldn't have be surprised, if Kishi made Sakura's death as meaningless as Neji's and if he made her say she still loved him, if he had actually gone that route.

that's fine if you don't believe it. but i'll continue to believe this theory until dec 6 proves me wrong. i still feel like it's in my favor anyway so i'm not worried at all.

This is actually a good point. Kishimoto already did interviews explaining why he made the choices he did. I imagine if the movie was the true explaination, he would have hold off on interviews until the movie released. Plus there have already been spoilers released from fans who saw early screenings.

So I'm not sure what else is there
