I don't see any resemblance to be honest. Yeah Bolt takes mostly after his father, but so does Naruto. He looks nothing like Kushina aside from the eye shape

it's not all about resemblance. there have been times in the series when naruto was compared to his mother not because of his looks, even tsunade says that naruto takes his mothers personality. i compared bolt to sakura because they both like pranks and have have a verbal tic.

But there are other factors that disprove Sakura as Bolt's mother. Himawari is clearly the daughter of both Hinata and Naruto, and she is younger than Bolt. If Sakura is Bolt's mother, than that means Naruto broke up with Sakura at some point and remarried Hinata

what is as clear as day is bolt not having a single trace of hinata in him. his looks, personality, facial expressions and behavior come from naruto. you don't see hinata at all when you look at bolt. chapter 700 is ambiguous as hell, naruto and hinata don't even interact like the other couples in that chapter.

Some might say that this movie is NS last chance to become canon. The way I see it, this movie is Kishi's last chance to prove that he hasn't gone completely insane.

 

So for what it's worth, I still have some faith that Kishi knows what he's doing.

 

...And if i'm wrong and the spoilers are really true, then that will only convince me even more that NS is the most logical pairing. Why? Because you don't need to twist canon to make NS seem believeable. Thats why.

It didn't have to be an interaction though. It could've been a mention. A family portrait on Naruto's desk. Bolt going home. Anything. But there was nothing. All Himawari did was mention an older brother.

Who is to say the girl doesn't exist and Hinata didn't have a daughter with someone else not present in 700?
