Yeah, on Dec 6th, if we don't get a surprise NS ending, I'll translate a tweet to Kishi along the lines of, "I accept Hinata with Naruto but please next time give your main couple more page time together."
He could have easily spared her from the IT and had her hanging out with Team 7. We would have howled about it at the time, but at least she would have been in a better position to have a retconned movie made about her....
I am of the opinion that Kishi is free to do whatever he wants with this manga. He is given that right as a writer (though I question how much freedom he was given anyways from Shounen Jump when it comes to the ending).
BUT nevertheless, he should have taken his fans' feelings into consideration. He betrayed, trampled, and spit on us and our love for the special bond Naruto and Sakura share. He could not give us at least a proper closure scene?! He COMPLETELY ignored us, especially those NaruSaku fans who always bought his manga. THIS is how he shows us his gratitude for the success of the manga series?
THIS is what I am disppointed of the most tbh. The creator of this wonderful manga series that has accompanied me throughout the teen years doesn't give a kitten about us. Seeing NaruSaku becoming cannon in the movie is the only way to fix one of the many flaws this movie has; however, HOW can I be genuinely happy when I don't get to see Naruto and Sakura being together with their smiles on their faces in the last chapter?
