You know that it does exists in one of the databooks. I think it's said in databook 2 but not sure.
The "lonely existence" thing is actually a mistranslation. What's said is that Sakura filled the emptiness of loneliness, in other words that Sakura is one of the factors that helped Sasuke feel less isolated, just like Naruto and Kakashi were.
The SS fans want to use lonely existence because that makes it sound as if Sakura was the only reason Sasuke found happiness in the village. What a joke.
Not only is it obvious that Sakura has no special role besides being a member of Team 7, which is what Sasuke cherised the most, but it's also clear that the one person who made Sasuke feel more at ease back in the village was Naruto. It goes to the point that Sasuke recognized Naruto as if he was his own brother.

I always took it that way, I don't see the difference between the two translation, but even with "emptiness of loneliness" SS would be able to twist it to make it sound like she's the only one to fill that emptiness.
Some months ago I saw a SS fan made a very long post about the databook's "hints" for SS. It was so biased and over analysed, it was absolutely not objective. Every time there was a mention of Sakura in Sasuke's part, he was secretely in love with her, while there was no mention of his feelings. And what's more funny is that they holding tight on only databook 1 and 2 because, from the moment Sasuke left the village, he had no thought for Sakura. And THIS is what SS fans don't want to admit.

Is there any other positive mention of Sasuke's opnion of Sakura in the databooks besides the "emptiness of loneliness" part?
Still, what's wrong about certain SS fans using the databooks for justification is that they ignore the ridiculous amount of teasing that said databooks have about Sakura's growing feelings for Naruto and the possibility of them getting together.
If anything the databooks actually serve to make the fans anticipate the day when Naruto and Sakura get together with phrases like:
- "She also looks Naruto's way"
- "it's not love right now, but perhaps there's a chance"
- "For some reason she blushing" (the reason being her admiration of Naruto)
- "The moment she acknowledges this, one can say her true development began." ("This" being Naruto's reliability)
- "How does she feel about Naruto? Sakura still has not found an answer."
It'd be pretty stupid to just back track from all of this with "Nah, just kidding. Sasuke is always number #1, trololololololololo"

Is the "filled his lonely existence" part from Sasuke or Sakura's profile? I think that is significant.

I think that is weird too. :confused. This directly indicates romance, but the SS comment does not.
Not to mentioned they're outnumbered.

@ sushi: "The filled his lonely existence" is on Sasuke's section, concerning Sakura.
I found the post I was talking about. He are the supposed SS proves in databooks :
· 「里を抜けようとするサスケに、サクラは思い止まるよう懇願する。その願いに対するサスケの答えは、「うざ い よ」の一言。それはカカシ班が編成された頃にもサスケが放った言葉だった。だが、それから幾多 の任務を経た 今、同じ言葉に込められた意味は、大きく異なる。自分への愛情を知りつつも、全ての繋がりを断 ち切るべくサ スケは里に背を向けた。」
Sasuke is trying to leave the village, and Sakura implores him to give up that idea. In response to her wish, Sasuke answers her with a simple “You’re annoying”. They are the same words that he uttered back when Team Kakashi was formed… but so many missions have passed since then, and now the meaning that he puts into those same words differs greatly. Even though he understands the love that she feels for him, in order to sever all his connections Sasuke turns his back to the village.
· Sakura willingly and bravely calms the rampaging Sasuke under the influence of the cursed seal. Sakura’s heart, thinking of Sasuke, devours the wicked power.
· 【SEPARATION】
Growing distant, towards darkness. The one to appear before him as he began leave was Sakura. To the back of a Sasuke that tried to avert from what was being left behind, Sakura desperately conveys her feelings. Bright and earnest feelings - feelings that did not want to lose Sasuke.
The one who filled his lonely existence with the emotion called love was Sakura. But, as expected, Sasuke cannot respond to those feelings. Sasuke was only able to leave a single word of thanks as word of parting.
TN: 満たしてくれた (or specifically, くれた or “kureta”). “Kureta” is a donatory verb in Japanese used to address gratitude for things that were done for your benefit (or for things that were done for you without you asking, of which you gained benefit). Therefore, the “filled his existence with the emotion called love” is implied to be something Sasuke benefited from. Whilst the databook comments are not in first person, the “kureta” donatory verb indicates that the section is implicitly written in Sasuke’s perspective (because the verb is generally only used in the first person perspective).
· 「孤独な心を支える仲間と出会い!!」
ENCOUNTER WITH FRIENDS WHO CAN EASE HIM FROM LONELINESS!!
Though until then he had taken no notice of either love or friendship, after meeting with Naruto and Sakura Sasuke begins to accept them as nakama, even if only little by little. In Sasuke’s eyes, before he even noticed it, he and Naruto became mutual good rivals capable of boosting up each other’s skills - and also, when his heart was about to be swallowed by Orochimaru’s wicked cursed seal again, he was rescued by Sakura…
· 友と夢】
「友情や愛情、温もりに満ちた未来。しかしそこに在る限り、己の夢は叶えることはできない。だからサスケは 友 と在る未来を捨てたのだ。復讐という夢を叶えるために...。」
【DREAMS AND FRIENDS】
Friendship and love, a future filled with warmth. But as long as he is there, he cannot make his dream come true. This is why he throws away a future with his friends. To make dreams of revenge a reality…
·
Neglected comrades, a cast-away love, a village extinguished. All that’s left is a name, and a memory.

Editor's Note strikes once again.
And being honest, if Sasuke had feelings for Sakura or even hidden feelings like they were implying, Sasuke would have hesitated to kill Sakura.

That last one is an editor's note. ok SS
I've seen a similar post, and it was like an essay, man. They overanalyse the hell out of a lot of things.
Yeah, Kishi had so many opportunities to show that Sasuke had hidden feelings for her, or even the potential for romantic feelings, but he didn't. Not even once. And being honest, if Sasuke had feelings for Sakura or even hidden feelings like they were implying, Sasuke would have hesitated to kill Sakura.

Exactly @ that last line.

Just to make sure, I'm not the one who bolded some terms, it was the SS fan.
And those arguments are not serious to me. Everytime there is a mention about love, or heart. They go on the Sasuke is secretely in love, while in every love reference it could be about Team 7 and friends about the rookies. It was stated many times that Team 7 is like his family, and family is love.
And I have the feeling that when this person bolded "Sasuke can't response to those feelings", it was because he believed Sasuke wasn't able to response to it, but not because he wasn't feeling the same, I think this person meant that Sasuke wanted to but he had some kind of obstacle repressing him. But in fact, to me, this sentence itself kills SS: he can't response to it, because he doesn't fell the same. Period.
And "heart" doesn't mean "love" at least not in japanese. I suppose that they used the word 心 which means "spirit" OR "heart" and for example, when it says "Sakura's heart, thinking of Sasuke, devours the seal". I think it makes more sense to translate it by spirit. It's spirit that thinks, not heart. It's just a biased trnaslation to makes it look romantic.
it's a big over analysis. I think all that databook references, and kizuna books are just indicating that, in part 1, Sakura was in love with Sasuke, Sasuke knew it and understood it, he was thankful she was there for him, among team 7, they were filling the emptiness that the loss of his clan created, but he wasn't feeling the same.

I found the post I was talking about. He are the supposed SS proves in databooks :
It doesn't really tell me anything that I didn't know already by reading the manga. It simply elaborates how Sasuke created bonds throughout the course of Part 1 with Team 7 and Konoha as a whole, but that he needed to cut all of it for the sake of his revenge.
My guess is that when it talks about the friendship and love that Sasuke experienced back in Konoha that SS fans want to claim that Naruto equals friendship and Sakura equals love. While I understand how one would see it like that thanks to bias I'm pretty sure that's not how it's intented yo be shown.
The friendship and love go hand in hand and both are applied to each character. To put it in simple terms: because Sasuke developed a friendship with Naruto and Sakura he came to love them both to the point of considering them his new family. That's the type of love that's talked about here. The SS fans tend to miss that love is not always in a romantic emotion.
The "a cast-away love" is an editor's note so is not even relevant, but if we had to talk about it I'd say is about Sasuke forsaking his bonds. He puts his comrades and his bond to them aside.

So what do you guys think he'll do once Madara's been defeated ? He said something abt changing the entire Shinobi system. Do you think he'll finish what he started and end those very same bonds that eased his Loneliness ?

He said he will kill Naruto, as a form to completely erase his bond of the past to continue his path.

I was thinking that once the War is over, Sasuke would become Naruto's final enemy by threating the bijuu he wanted to kill. But Madara is already doing it. The only way it could happening is if Madara fail.
And last thing about databook, I would like to point out the differences between those SS argument and the NS hints in databooks:
· Databook 1 :
"Sakura herself doesn't really know how she feels about Naruto. Her great love is Sasuke, but it should be notices that she also looks Naruto's way… We can't talk about love for the moment, but who knows? It might happen."
"She feels a spontaneous admiration for Naruto. And for some reason, she's blushing."
· Databook 2 :
“Hope”:
"Totally unreliable and full of baseless confidence is Naruto. But this Naruto becomes to Sakura someone she can rely on the most. The moment she acknowledges this, one can say her true development began. A companion is always by your side. It is because she knows this that she can get up again from swamps of despair."
· Databook 3 :
"We have to stay strong, you and me, together."
“She’s a romantic and can be emotional, but she has become very much an extreme realist”
“How many feces does a woman have? As many as the feelings she hides in her heart”
“A woman’s love and her short temper” (about Naruto)
“Her childhood friend has matured faster than she ever expected. It causes her heart to beat faster.”
“A new teacher (Tsunade), a new comrade (Sai)… and new feelings (Naruto)?”
"When she was younger, the one she yearned for, and then loved was Sasuke. Naruto was merely a nuisance, the loser who always come between her and Sasuke. But as she goes to the various missions in the past, Sakura comes to a realization. When times were hard, when she wanted to give up on life, it was always that nuisance Naruto who protected and encouraged her. How does she feel about Naruto? Sakura still has not found an answer."
“It used to be that Naruto encouraged Sakura. Now she’s the one giving him strength… evidence of her spiritual growth.”
All the SS sentences were just a recap of the SS relationship in part 1, nothing about Sasuke's supposed feelings for Sakura. While, here, it clearly indicates that Sakura has hidden feelings for Naruto. It is stated black on white.

He said he will kill Naruto, as a form to completely erase his bond of the past to continue his path.
Yes, at this state, it will surely gonna be the trigger for Sasuke to be the final villain. I dont see any other reason for Sasuke to be an enemy besides his evil vibes towards Naruto.

The main problem with Sasuke's side of databook is that only one of them is a recap, and that's another problem, it's a recap. Also, it was describing on a picture scene, so you have to only describe what you put out. When I found out about Sakura's profile having Naruto's aspect since databook 1, then I know it's always meant to be. Think about it. As I told you guys before, the databook is a summary that is now done as well as something to look forward and by that, I mean a question left hanging in a thread. That said I used to think Sakura's love for Naruto was only mentioned in databook 3, but now, if it's the continuous routine, then that means it is part of the character. The Sasuke part is like growing less in her part, only establishing since he left, Team 7, including her, grow stronger and get Team 7 back and such.
Honestly, it's other pairings that should just give up on databook arguments, because if they use it, they must acknowledge all descriptions inside. As you read above, I already acknowledged everything about it, though at least you guys used the right translation I think because the real translation doesn't make SS stand out at all, just on a normal basis. Anyway, the point is if you willing to use the databook argument, then go ahead, you only lead to more downhill spiral.
