Actually, he's not. Hollow Ichigo has never eaten another Hollow, and the Menos of all three classes are masses of Hollows lumped together. We don't know what he is. Hell, even Hollow Ichigo says he doesn't know what the hell he is. Remember, Ichigo's Hollowfication was different from any other. The Hougyouku wasn't directly involved, and the process seemed to be completely different from the way the Vaizard gained their masks.

Actually I disagree, the term "Vasto Lorde" is just a general term referring to "King of Hollows" (Strongest and most powerful). You don't have to eat hollows if you already have one dwelling within you "Shirosaki". Vaizard's gain power through "hollowification" meaning part of their soul is actually a hollow, depends on how much of the soul is taken over.

Ichigo's case was definitely rare, he went through almost full hollowification without losing his Shinigami powers and zanpakuto. So in a sense he could be of Vasto Lorde level of power.

Chapter comment --Click here to view--
I thought is was an okay chapter, seems to be just a transitional one. It seems that Gin made his zan move faster than Mach 500 this time around. I'm Yoruichi is okay. shamefulcry0js.gif I can pretty much see how the Gin fight will play out. Rangiku tries to convince Gin but fails getting stabbed, then Ichigo keeps trying to attack but fails, and unexpectedly Kira sneaks up using his zan to weigh Gin's 13KM bankai down like an anchor giving Ichigo a wide open attack. wink.gif

I'm not sure about that, unless adjuchas and menos are also just general terms (which seems unlikely). They are each level of hollow and you seem to have to take certain steps to be classified as one. Ichigo is more like an unnamed hybrid that is at VL level but not actually a VL. Somehow he naturally has a TON of reiatsu, whereas normal hollow have to devour other hollow/souls in order to evolve.

Exactly, hollows eat others to gain a higher level of reiatsu that they can't stop craving for. Ichigo already has a extremely high level of reiatsu, so if he does go through full hollowification he can still become a Vasto Lorde just through other means. We just won't know for sure until Kubo makes it certain.

I never really noticed it before but I was looking back through some old pages and saw Tousen's resurrection and he has a gaping hole in his chest... I guess this kind of confirms that Ichigo's transformation was his resurrection? Lol, this is late and I've already had that thought in my head since I saw it but I just noticed it on Tousen. xD
Oh, new Bleach episode was awesome.

That's a good possibility.

Aizen's true face is reveled:

Not sure if it could be his resurreccion if he still has his sword. Didn't Tousen lose his when he became hollow?

That's what I was thinking, but then again, some of the Espada either lost their weapons or had a different weapon, so maybe it just depends on the individual? Or perhaps it's something more than a resurrection? Aizen did mention that he became something new in his fight with Ulquiorra.

If I remember correctly wasn't Grimmjow only a arrancarized (hougyoku helps turn hollows into arrancars) Adjuchas and probably the same for Aaroniero? I mean the only ones we saw who was already human/shinigami looking before the hougyoku was Starrk and Lilynette.

Aaroniero was the only arrancarized menos, but not sure if Grimmjow was arrancarized by the hogyoku..can't really remember. However, Starrk and Lilynete were naturals, as well as Nnoitra, Neliel, and Szayel at least, since we saw them as arrancar (in flashbacks) before Aizen had the hogyoku.

Another thought I just had was the way Ulquiorra and Ichigo transformed.
Ulquiorra's resurrection had reiatsu enveloping his whole body just like other espada, same with Ichigo.
I know that normally Ichigo has it surround him when he hollowfies, but it happened without the use of his hand to create a mask. And it was different from his other monster hollow transformation because we didn't see bits and pieces of his mask forming on his face. Not to mention the physical change throughout his whole body.

I dunno, maybe I'm wrong.

Well, I think it was done on purpose with H1 Ichigo, to show the process in slow motion. I guess you can say H2 Ichigo form look more perfected probably due to Shirosaki growing stronger in HM just like Chad did with his new power-up.

I wonder during the process is it Shirosaki that takes over forming a physical manifestation while Ichigo becomes temporarily trapped inside his inner world, like a reversal switch?

What's weird about Ichithing is that not only is it not like Ichigo, but at the same time it is not like Shirosaki. We have seen what Shirosaki is like...he's pretty much insane. He would kill for the fun of it. Yet Ichithing wasn't like that at all. He was pure instinct, yet he had purpose, which was the only thing he could focus on: protect. It was like Ichigo's autopilot, yet separate from Shirosaki... He didn't know exactly who he was protecting or why, but he knew he had to do it and that's what he did.

Exactly, not to mention that it seemed like there were more tactics being used than just pure instinct.

Got through watching episode 272.

H2 Ichigo's voice is downright creepy and the same for when his hollow hole plugged back up. mellow.gif

Loved the end with Ryuuken shooting arrows at Isshin, I don't get why he wants to fight Ichigo though. laugh.gif

Getsuga Tenshou, kittenes! As if Isshin wasn't awesome enough already!

Now I'm REALLY confused about Gin's motives. He's willing to let Ichigo run away?!

I like to go out and party, but I do not like drinks served in a femvase (damn fruity stuff... ew), so good ol' beer is my mate. So yeah, I'm also a psychology student, so your mind interests me.

Isshin should still be holding back a lot, so I'm pretty sure he'll blast of something cool soon. I'm disappointed with Bleach after Orihime's abduction though, since it has been mostly crap since that point. I guess the final bit with Ichigo vs Ulqibish was alright, but other than that it has been boring. I'd even go so far as to say Naruto was better with the Sasuke-chapters.

Oh, and it's lightyears behind One Piece in terms of awesomeness as well.
